Hey mayte, first off thanks & I totally get it - funny enough there is another UA-cam friend (krtlyfe) def check his stuff out, I feel a very similar way to what you mentioned regarding being the same person!! You know how they say we are all one consciousness, it applies to such things design is always in the details!!
@@Uno.minimalist I'll definitely check him out. Sometimes people say things like "oh it's just this one part that's not so good". In my mind I'm like no that one "small" detail is EVERYTHING. Like when you said the silluete of the common projects is better than the budget alternatives I was like FINALLY somebody mentions the elephant in the room. It's not just a quality debate, the details matter. I look forward to seeing your perspective on future videos.
@joeysanchez6777 I agree totally, in the end us humans are such visual creatures!! A line or a shape even in millimeters & we definitely detect it - so it does register !! Ofc some people don’t be too bothered about it, we are not those people so like this is ‘EVERYTHING’ for us lol
@@Uno.minimalist yeah, you got a point, but one way or another, as I commented on previous video about Wyatts, personally, in my region, it's even way too humid and hot to wear high-top Converses, it's just feels unnatural.
Great video and interesting selection of boots. I can tell you from experience, that Thursday boot was a hard no for me. The main reason was the lack of any type of gusset. The tongue literally attaches at the toes. If you were to use that boot out doors you would certainly get water and debris inside the boot. I actually reviewed that boot lol. Zippers vs laces. I think the main reason laces are superior is, a lace can be easily replaced in the field. If your zipper fails it’s game over till you reach the nearest cobbler.
@KRTLyfe thanks, yea def a new POV you brought regarding tactical situations one must definitely not depend on a zipper. Also to me the zipper is kind of defeats the purpose of a lace up (akin to instant coffee, lol) smh Thursday boot feels dated to me for minimalist styling - I went with Addison Combat boot very happy will show it in a vid here soon !!
