@@PTXclusive Thanks, I thought that you were closer Texel on the other side of the afsluit dijk. So, tell me what is sticking out of the water at 6:15 if it's not a tree?
What point of sail is this? To the true wind? Beam reach, broad reach? How deep can you go efficiently? I was a unirig sailor from the late 70's-80's, Nacra 18sq meters class. I'm in the U.S.A., Washington state near Seattle.
I think it's called broad reach - depends on the amount of wind how deep we go - if there is less wind - you might go up to beam reach - but then you flatten the spinnaker and your hands will get sore 🙂 I am sailing a Nacra Inter 20 with my dad - and sometimes an Nacra 18 Infusion with clubmembers.
Very nice video and incredible speed. Thank you for sharing.
Good Spi!!! Enjoy we still in quarantine here and we can not sail yet. :(
Where is this exactly? How did you manage not to hit a tree? Nice!!!
This is at the Grevelingenmeer, Netherlands.
And why should we hit a tree...we are on the water 😁
