This has been the most difficult trip in my Namibia! Now I finally know that Botswana and its tarred roads are along our coast, Who would have thought anything could have been so difficult... Maybe I need a TRUE Namibian BEER...... to get my ancient roots to show me the way.....
Madala Hamunyela I guess cable TV and the internet showed Africa how other countries live they can have American in the Homeland plenty of land! a rich country!
@Roelf Steytler No that isn't sorry go and Google and know your facts Swakop is the biggest city in Erongo go and search on Google you'll find out the facts
When I went to Ghana in the 90's and early 2000's there were some power outtages, perhaps things have improved since then. I remember hotels with refridgerator, hot water, Air Condit., cable TV in great locations for as low as $15.00 - 20.00 a night.
Africa at once was a pearl until they spoke of indipendence and all went in a different direction. But now it seems some of the clever ones are getting back to the same point and rebuilding back infrastructure the way they use to be or even better. Sorry but some thing's must be said.
The only time I felt like I was in Namibia was when I was in the north and the village I forgot the name of it, that's when I ate traditional food like marathon chicken and mahangu

Most of the HDI development in terms of the country's population happened after independence and self-rule.
