Walibi Holland also planned a single rail coaster, and because that in Walibi Holland is from the original RMC and it is bigger and dueling AND in my home park I look more forwards ti that one in Walibi Holland… but this one also looks fun
Love how the keyhole inversion element hides the fact that the ride crosses over the station before the second launch. Yeah, it's obvious that those launch tracks are parallel, but that and the fence between the launches make the on-ride experience seem a lot longer than it really is. Excellent use of theming to make a small coaster feel as big as a standard Intamin multi-launch.
Is that really a single-though? I has two distinct round steel rails on the edges, but the space between the track is just filled with steel rather than having individual braces.
I was at Walibi Rhône alpes last summer and I walked pass the building site and thought: "Wait a minute. Is that a single rail coaster?" And after a google search I found out that it was indeed that. So I am definitely going here later this summer.
It suddenly occurs to me that Mattel not building a launched single-rail roller coaster like Mahuka (or any of RMC's models) as their Hot Wheels themed ride is a huge missed opportunity. This honestly looks pretty great and I hope it's a huge success for the park.
A tyre launch is crazy. Is that permanent? Seems like it would be a pain to maintain, and more costly in the long term than LSMs. Otherwise it looks nice, just a bit shaky.
Intamin has used tyre launches on their family coasters (and some more intense coasters) for maybe 20 years or so, and they work perfectly fine as long as the train isn't too heavy and it doesn't need to get to very high speeds. LSMs require cooling and take a lot of power all at once so they need a little more infrastructure with the coaster.
Requires less energy than LSMs, also generally simpler (I don’t think they need as much cooling as LSMs for example) which leads to less maintenance needed
@@CoasterStudios I'm pretty sure Mack rides had built a travelling single rail coaster back in the 1950's and 60's. Also Fabbri had built a single rail travelling coaster too around that time which was still touring on fairs in France until just a few years ago, it was called "Super Railway". You can even find it on RCDB about the time it was stationed at Antibes land.
This look awesome, but oh my god the wobbling looks worse on this one than on Big Dipper... And you can tell they have image stabilization on too and it still looks bad😬
Taylor and Sarah mentioned this about the first intamin (or vekoma I forget) single rail. That it was cool/fun, but there was a noticeable rattle when the coaster was not even 3 months old. Intamin/vekoma need to get their sh*t together.
This probably feels like when you're on ur way to the ice cream shop to get you're favorite ice cream and then you arrive at the shop worrying about if they will have you're favorite flavor then they do have it and so you get it and enjoy it.
I’m definitely calling this Mini-Toutatis. I’m glad that there are now two elite Intamins in my country ! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
Tu as pu le rider? si oui il est comment?
@@bigveaucoaster7205 nope, mais il a vraiment une gueule de mini Toutou
@@bigveaucoaster7205intamin posted this pov, so idk if it was open.
N'oublie pas Yukon Quad ;)

That sound as the train hits those tires for the launches is just funny to me.
wompwompwompwompwompwompwomp
B B B B B B B B B BBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Why does that look actually insane!
It actually looks fantastic. I think they finally weeded out the bugs with the first one.
Oh god that pacing is scrumptious
Intamin single rails are starting to grow on me!
Was thinking the exact same thing!!
@@Vytirix_RBXI mean there’s only 2 out there

This actually looks pretty incredible!
0:10 WOW!! that launch's peformance is outstandly cool
This looks insane! Hopefully it's smooth
Now thats a family ride, sweet!!
This is coaster-perfection.
Smooth, quick, unfussy fun. Bravo!
The pacing looks absolutely PHENOMENAL in this POV.
wow the pacing looks incredible!
Did i just see a triple down! Looks awesome!
This thing is absolutely shredding through it's layout!
Awesome new coaster and definitely a stand out in the new for 2024 coasters!
This ride looks fantastic!
Looks really smooth!
I still find it facinating that they've gone for an intamin when Walibi Holland is getting 2 RMC single rails
Is that really a single-though? I has two distinct round steel rails on the edges, but the space between the track is just filled with steel rather than having individual braces.
This looks super fun. I want to visit Europe so badly.
Looks like real good fun!😊
Really hope a UK park like Paultons Park invests in something like this. Would fit so nicely.
That looks pretty nice!!!
That looks great! How many tires do they go through in a season?
2nd launch and the layout it actually pretty nice looking
New coastin thru Europe series?
We did not film this, it was sent to us to post.
Ah that’s fine, thank you so much for replying!
Looks so smooth
That was interesting. Including 2 corkscrews, nice! 👍🏻😎
So smooth, yet so forceful.
Looks fun!!!
Based on the elements, I KNEW this was Intamin (lol). Looks fun!
I was at Walibi Rhône alpes last summer and I walked pass the building site and thought: "Wait a minute. Is that a single rail coaster?" And after a google search I found out that it was indeed that. So I am definitely going here later this summer.
When can we see a review of this?
not sure when we'll get around to riding it. Not anytime this year at least.

wait! they use drive tires for everithing?
It looks like a fun ride
It reminds me of a backyard coaster I don’t know why 😂
This looks fun!
Small coasters are underrated
I can sense a Coastin Thru Europe Season 3 coming this fall... Maybe it's just me
Extremely impressive for a tire launch. Hope to see these debut at parks in the US
Is it just me or does this POV make it seem like the train is sort of shuffling on the track like the one at Luna Park in Sydney?
Looks better than the big dipper one. Wonder if the rattle everyone spoke of on the latter is an issue on this one.
Crazy good pacing
Nice video.
When are you guys going back to Hershey park??
this thing actually looks great. hope it isn’t shaky like the other one
A tyre launch is crazy. Is that permanent? Seems like it would be a pain to maintain, and more costly in the long term than LSMs. Otherwise it looks nice, just a bit shaky.
Intamin and other manufacturers have done tire launches before. And yes it is permanent.
Tyres are probably more cost effective for the speed it runs at and also don’t require a ton of electricity or as careful maintenance.
Can't wait for Walibi Holland to get 2 single rail coasters in 2025!
Can you post a video talking about Voltron?
Layout looks absolutely bangin🔥 ...but definitely need to hear about the roughness factor, train looks like its holding onto the track for dear life 😅
Why some parts of the Mahuka track color scheme looks faded compared with Big Dipper at Luna Sidney that still yellow shiny ?
Probably just dust left over from construction
Likely either relating to construction dust, or perhaps welding since it seems to be specifcally around the joints where the track pieces connect.
Does anyone have an idea on how the tires keep traction when wet?
This thing rips!
Going to ride Hyperia soon??
it looks like an upscale backyard coaster
Ok this is sick, why does it already look so much faster than Big Dipper?
Wow this is so much better looking than the one at Luna park
Why is there no ride information like there normal is?
i remembered a lot more theming
Also, if we end up seeing one of these at SFNE, I won't complain one bit. Intamin could do wonders with that cramped double boomerang plot.
Awesome layout but… tires? Seems impractical. Are the launches smooth?
Requires less energy than LSMs, also generally simpler (I don’t think they need as much cooling as LSMs for example) which leads to less maintenance needed
Tires have been used many times before on other coasters, just look at Juvelen.
Was hoping for a 720p/24fps, but this will do!
😂
Single-railed velocicoaster
Intamin really pushing the boundaries of whats a "family" coaster nowadays 😂😂
TTD2 was totally supposed to have a tire launch.
Wow this looks rougher than the first one.
Only 9 seats ?
"Europe's First Single Rail Coaster"

weird track design. wont there be pooling water at level low points when it rains??
Does this give anyone VelociCoaster Vibes??? 🦖 This is literally the single rail VelociCoaster.
I’ll rank it 8.3/10 it’s a little short, but it looks cool
Not every day you see both an inverted top hat and a regular top hat on the same coaster.
That is so fast

Il e bien there yesterday and there were almost no rattle
The track seems very shaky. I hope it's just a video thing (or maybe it's meant to be like that)
You can hear the rattle already.
Looks a bit rattley no. Like big dipper?
I sure hope not 😭

Sounds like its got that same shimmy rattle going on as the prototype did.
