I can only imagine the existential terror these npcs must be experiencing as they are dragged against their will across the whole of Skyrim by an uncomfortably attractive woman with the voice of a Scottish man who may or may not secretly be a pirate captain skeleton.
The only thing that would have made that even funnier would be if she was wearing the bucket on her head. Now that would be a challenge. Walking up the 7,000 steps all the while wearing a fecking bucket on your head 🤣
What is incredible about your videos is how it’s basically you just riffing off the game, but you have enough creativity an charisma to fill up hours an hours of time with near constant humor. What’s even more amazing, I was visiting my parents a few weeks ago and happened to pull up one of your videos and my famously humorless mom who has no interest in video games was completely charmed by you. I’m so happy I found your videos!
For real, and I can't get enough of the physical humor either. It's more prominent in videos like the Bone Piece series but the hand movements are a fucking hoot and riff so well with the rambles.
I can’t wait for the day that a modder is so inspired by these videos they add little rest stops / points of interest for Simon along his most used dragging routes.
07:52 I've got yer nose! Know let me drag you by it, Jarl! Let's see Delphine next! Come on, Simon, she hasn't met the absolute lad that is Partysnax the winter lizord
Every time Simon picks up the Jarl and he kicks his feet like he's walking I just think about those chihuahua's that swim when you hold them over water but don't actually put them in
I honestly believe that this has got to be the quickest i have ever clicked on a video once it popped up. Poor Balgruuf deserves a wee bit of a holiday. He's always droning on and on about how he is envious that we get to climb the 7,000 steps. And i am very happy that he finally gets to!
MVP Lydia with that bucket. And Irilith showing up out of nowhere!! Nobody ever really expected a Jarl to actually climb those 7000.. or 700 rather some steps, if not with a horse then the Dragonborn is a nice alternative ride. As always, the music is on point. I always forget between your videos, but the ff9ost pairs with both your comedy and Skyrim so well. Thanks for the entertainment. If you're taking suggestions, dragging Astrid to Aventus or to Cicero while he's stuck on the road might be funny. Or maybe she deserves a face to face with the Emperor on his boat. Another would be to drag Falk to Wolfskull cave to deal with the big problem he deems a nonthreat.. or maybe Isran to that vampiric Skooma den practically right under his nose. Cheers!
Also.... That bit about the chickens.... Too real mate. Those chickens are far more deadly than any of the bloody dragons are!... You can kill the emperor and nobody bats an eye...you kill one bloody chicken and EVERYONE loses their damn minds!
I haven't even finished but the fact that Lydia had a bucket and Edilth was there then immediately left after that kiss was amazing. Made me laugh so much!
I really appreciate the work and effort this Jarl put in making this video. Trying to stop that Scottish fella dragging you all the way to high rothguard day and night can't be easy.
This is probably my absolute favourite one of these, and was absolutely perfect to show up just as I finish what might well be my very last finals ever!
I kind of want to drag someone across the map and then watch them make their way all the way back on their own...like a human homing pigeon or salmon. Not sure if they would or not but I'm curious to know.
I could literally watch these for hours, you are SO entertaining considering you’re just talking to yourself for ages 😂 It’s so impressive! So glad I stumbled across your vids ❤
Discovered you recently and i love your videos so much. I'm in a rough spot but these videos have made me laugh a shit ton. Your good vibes and energy is just an awesome thing to watch. Thank youuuuuu!
Actually friend, i believe he says that he has made the "pilgrimage" once a long time ago. He says "I envy you, you know, to climb the 7,000 steps again...I made the pilgrimage once, did you know that?"
"I need help with not forgetting what I was saying and starting a new sentence in the middle of another sentence, letting that sentence go off on a tangent, and then trying to go back to the original sentence." I felt that in my soul
I got skyrim about 2 weeks ago and i was looking for skyrim content on youtube i could get into that wouldnt spoil the story. These videos are honestly perfect for players like me, and super funny too! :)
Thank you for your amazing videos. I have to admit that the first time I saw Bone Piece- A Skyrim movie (which was the first video of yours I found) after the dragon was killed, I thought you said you were looking for James in his belly and it wasn't until I watched the video again that I realized that you said gems. You were looking for gems, but there have been many videos that have talked about James and his crazy pranks so I wouldn't have been surprised if he did wind up in the dragon. Keep up the great work and thank you for the laughter you have given me.
as a resident of Falkreath I do believe Riverwood is under Our jurisdiction, however I also realise the Dragon threat as something bigger than national pride.
“Why do I keep doing this? They all talk about what *I* do to the NPCs, but they don’t talk about what the NPCs ‘clenches fist’ are doing to me. No they don’t.” -that sent me. I’ve been doing some work and I have your vids playing as I do. You always have me laughing out loud
Well, if you can, then you must! Drag everybody to everywhere by their asses! It does not matter if they do not want to, it is for a higher good. I love the best is their look when you grab them by the face and they look into your eye, silently begging for mercy :D
I understand every word you’re saying because my great grandmother was from cork Ireland, and her accent was extremely thick to the point where I was around her so much when I was little that I would pick up on some of her accent so when I would come home from my dads to my moms she was like what the hell are you talking about? 😂 and my sentences runoff into tangents as well so no worries. Love the videos by the way.
@TheLaughingSimon mate ive only just come across your channel and i gotta say you are hilarious .i have literally had tears rolling watching your videos keep it up these are great .always cheers me up on a bad day 👍🤣🤣🤣
You're right - elasticity is a trademark of the female body. Be careful when shaking a woman's hand there, the arm will just stretch out from here to Ladhar Bheinn.
I think u should add the jester from the dark brotherhood and that werewolf that's in jail that u can help or do something with them or cat person but as captain funny bones
Hey Simon just wanted to say I love your content it's so funny and entertaining keep it up and you'll go far look after yourself looking forward to the next video
imagine skyrim vr multiplayer. The reason? Npc dragging races! First one to the finish line with their npc wins! Bonus points if alive and not attacking you!
Who's next? 🤔
have you dragged Harkon to the Dawnguard yet?
drag rolff stone-fist , the racist dude in windhelm
drag a stormcloak to solitude
im ure 69 th veiw also captain fanny bones and the laughing crew
you need to drag Delphine into the thalmor embassy!
Look we all know, this is no longer a challenge series, just call it what we all know it is, "Can you take Jarl Balgruff on a date"
Yeah. These stopped being challenge runs after the civil war was ended twice. Now it’s for shits and giggles and I’m
Here for it
It was only a handful of days after Valentines Day...😳
Being balgruff to the high queen for a date
I can only imagine the existential terror these npcs must be experiencing as they are dragged against their will across the whole of Skyrim by an uncomfortably attractive woman with the voice of a Scottish man who may or may not secretly be a pirate captain skeleton.
The Laughing Lore is becoming complicated....
@@TheLaughingSimon my head canon is most definitely of Metal Gear proportions at this point 😂
Lydia is clearly having her own little "Can you..." challenge with that bucket. ❤️
The only thing that would have made that even funnier would be if she was wearing the bucket on her head. Now that would be a challenge. Walking up the 7,000 steps all the while wearing a fecking bucket on your head 🤣
@@backstreetcuttie2995off topic but you look lovely!!
*imagine getting dragged across the Skyrim by an all powerful being who eats dragon soul for breakfast*
Nazeem failed to make the trip, but Balgruff succeeds. A testament to the improved skill of Captain Fannyflesh.
And to the superiority of the true Lord of the Cloud District, Jarl Balgruff

this is so wholesome wtf 😊
The Charming Simon that's what they call me.
I can’t wait for the day that a modder is so inspired by these videos they add little rest stops / points of interest for Simon along his most used dragging routes.
Let's face it - Who wouldn't want to go for a walk with the best Jarl in Skyrim?
My head cannon tells me Simon is exactly like this in real life.
@@Ieatpaste23can’t wait till he does the irl versions
Ok now take Maven Blackbriar and just throw her into the stagnant canal in Riften. Short vid but we ALL WANT IT TO HAPPEN

@@mariblue72 Oh good now your eyes are well hydrated to read it once more!
Falling off the 17 Steps of Whiterun is a good start for climbing the 7.000 Steps up to High Hrothgar.
I honestly believe that this has got to be the quickest i have ever clicked on a video once it popped up. Poor Balgruuf deserves a wee bit of a holiday. He's always droning on and on about how he is envious that we get to climb the 7,000 steps. And i am very happy that he finally gets to!
"one foot behind the other" seems like a great motto 😂
I watched this yesterday with my brother, watching it again today on my ownsome. I love how polite Balgruuf is about the whole thing.
On this episode of strangely lovable Scottish man drags a person across Skyrim “against?” Their will
MVP Lydia with that bucket. And Irilith showing up out of nowhere!!

I'm glad I found this channel. It's silly and just makes me smile.
I was having a crappy day, but a new Simon video turned it all around. Thank you soo much for making my day better 🙏❤❤
Me too. It was like a gift.
You listened to that milkdrinker proventus about the jarl of falkreath thinking whiterun guards in Riverwood would be a provocation.
I haven't even finished but the fact that Lydia had a bucket and Edilth was there then immediately left after that kiss was amazing. Made me laugh so much!

Glad I could help brighten yer a day a little!
Never separate a girl and her bucket ❤️
I would watch you drag any npc to anywhere tbh. Quality content!
It also absolutely is his first time to High Hrothgar if I recall his dialogue right. He's jealous that you get to have the chance to go yourself.
Actually friend, i believe he says that he has made the "pilgrimage" once a long time ago. He says "I envy you, you know, to climb the 7,000 steps again...I made the pilgrimage once, did you know that?"
i think he says he climbed the steps once as a young man & wishes he could make the pilgrimage again
How about Miraak? Eeh... probably not... Oh, oh, oh! Harkon! Can you take Harkon to a temple? He'd probably melt under the sun, but... who cares XD
Harkon to the dawnguard. I love how the lack of facial expressions make it look like they've completely given up.
You can't say "elasticity" without "lass."
Poor man could really use a break from his bratty kids, you've done the right thing here
"I need help with not forgetting what I was saying and starting a new sentence in the middle of another sentence, letting that sentence go off on a tangent, and then trying to go back to the original sentence." I felt that in my soul
one of the best parts of simon's vids is the final fantasy 9 music in the background

Studious + Diligent = Studient. Makes sense.
I think that's what my brain was doing 😅
Aw here man, yer comedy is pure gold. Plain, simple and just brilliant. Spot on man!
All the final fantasy music is just gorgeous
Great work bud, this channel has been my happy place for about a month. Keep dragging em across Skyrim

4:54 I believe the word you were looking for is "studious." Given that relates to someone's dedication to learning, "diligent" is actually better.
Been missing the best content on youtube for a couple of weeks now. Can't wait for Captain Fannybones to return
Riverwood is part of Whiterun hold. Helgen was Falkreath
as a resident of Falkreath I do believe Riverwood is under Our jurisdiction, however I also realise the Dragon threat as something bigger than national pride.
I love that you used one of the Chrono Trigger themes in this video. Awesome 😊
3:18 no matter how ofter I hear this music I still enjoy it.
The Chrono Trigger music was a nice touch! Very nostalgic!

Can we get a mod list? That robe for Ballin Balgruf is awesome
Wouldn't be a Simon video if an NPC didn't get dragged by the arse.
Just casuly kidnaps the jarl walks out the front gate and the guards give zero shits.
Must of been the wind

Where is Captain Fannybones? I'm jonesing for a fix of my skeleton captain
You look a bit Pilley Willy laughing Simon in the video you can see it in your arms
0:58 that was hilarious 😂
Let me kiss that brain of yours

how about Delphine meet the Thalmor Embassy or maybe the Greybeards?
These are always my favourite videos
I might be being dumb, but how do you get them through the door loading screens without them despawning back into their set places?
Pretty much.
Haven't watched yet (I absolutley will) but I am kinda curious to the 7000 steps again? Are we trying to reach the 70000 steps? Haha.
