If you really have your heart set on being in the park 5 days and can only reserve 3 days prior (and it is high season) I recommend booking your first nights offsite (if that is what you were planning on doing) and then switchin to an on-site Disney hotel with your AP discount. If you stay onsite you do not need to reserve park entrance. Then you have your 5 days guaranteed
Just wanted to add that if you purchase the discovery pass and you enter the park, you then can’t re enter for another two days. This was something we weren’t aware of because we purchased through the French website and apparently it’s in the T&C. We only found out when we arrived at the annual pass service desk to trade in our temporary print out ticket for our physical cards and asked if they could reserve our next 3 days in the park, we were then informed if we wanted to re enter tomorrow we would have to upgrade to magic flex. Was a bit of whirlwind of emotions, luckily we had just got a credit card not long before we went away and was able to pay the upgrade on that, however if we didn’t our full trip would have been ruined. Just wanted to pass this info on incase anyone is thinking of getting the Discovery pass x
Hi Jordan, this is super helpful for anyone who is looking at that annual pass. We had no idea about that too. Thank you so much for sharing that. ❤️ x
Helena, for the trip you are doing in November with co-workers, you could have gotten at least 5 passes with the privilege pass if you are staying offsite.
Does anyone know what the purchase limits for merchandise discount actually is? I know theyve now paused selling new ones so i suppose they can potentially change t&cs as well but there's 9 of us going next year so it would probably be of benefit to us to have at least one annual pass between us.
Hi Caroline, unfortunately I’m not able to answer this question. I did try and do a deep dive to find an answer but can’t seem to get one. I know dlp has a support chat on the website. They may be able to help. If not hopefully someone will see this message. Thank you so much for watching ❤️ x
I think the renewal of the AP used to be allowed online and, if you renewed, you would get 14 months for the price if 12. Also, I had to use PayPal too because my Spanish credit card wouldn’t go through.
We were so confused as to why the credit cards wouldn’t work. We were just about to give up when Helena suggested PayPal. Ah cool, we’ll have to see if anything is offered once ours are about to expire. X
where can i find more information about upgrading to an annual pass? i have a trip booked and will be there nov 1st-3rd and wanted to know if this is something i could do
Hi Erin, sorry if we missed your trip. I believe our friends went to the area next to the entrance to Walt disney studios to get their upgrade on their passes but there can be a long wait at times I believe. X
Wow! Didn’t know about the discount at Starbucks 😍 will be using this in October. Also not sure if you mentioned that IP holders can use Disney hotel swimming pools.
Hi I still have a question, If i want to book a room and i have the magic plus pass and my friend doesnt have an AP how do i book this and how do we pay for this? is it possible ?
Hiya 😊 hope you’re well. So when you call up the hotline they’ll ask if everyone in your party has an annual pass. I believe the person without will still need a park ticket. I’m not sure if they can do that when you call. You’ll ask for the hotel quotes with the dates you want. Make sure you ask about each hotel separately as they can’t openly tell you unless you ask. If you go ahead you hang up and then pay using Disneyland Paris secure website. It was all very easy. Definitely give them a call, they’ve been very friendly when I’ve rang them. 😊 thank you for watching. X
Hi Dylan, unfortunately they have announced that they have stopped sales of the current annual passes. It was a very recent decision. Think they’re planning on introducing new ones later in the year. Thank you for watching. X
Fantastically informative vlog! We currently have the Magic Plus but want to upgrade to Infinity when we renew, mainly for the preferred viewing areas. As we’re a family of five we opted to pay monthly and, although it was initially a bit faffy and our direct debit didn’t work, it’s worked out well now - DLP email us a payment link each month instead. Thanks for sharing, your thoughts are very much appreciated ❤
Glad you were able to get the payment system working for you. Yeah, the preferred viewing is definitely a big perk to the infinity pass. Being able to be so close to the castle for the fireworks was very special 😊 x
Hiya kammy, hope you’re well. We never actually used this perk however we asked some friends. I think you pick them up from the booth beside Walt Disney studios. They said they were a bit of a pain to get. It was fine reserving them online but the trading or picking up can be time consuming as you had to pick them up each day. Hope this helps a little. X

Hiya 😊 ah this is a good suggestion and how to get around the current reservation system. Thank you for advising x

Hiya Rob 😀 This is a great suggestion. We could look at doing something to do with app. Thank you for watching x

Thank you for the heads up. That’s something we can compare and look into in the future. 😊 x
I'm considering an annual pass for Winter 2023 but prices will no doubt go up before then!
Thank you so much for watching 😊 glad you found it useful. 🤞they stay the same. X

How do I get one

If you are a trying to get a annual’ pass you can’t get one unless you’re already a annual pass holder
Yes, that’s right. They just made this decision which is unfortunate. Hopefully the new ones come out soon. X
