- Trusty returns with a Vintage Deep Dive showcasing his personal collection of the Bob White pattern of dinnerware from Red Wing Potteries. Practically the only MidCentury modern decor in his home, these are his daily use dishes and they have a great design and production history which includes a Playboy centerfold spread making it one of the most popular Red Wing patterns of the 50s and 60s until the factory closed in 1967.
Absolutely enjoyed this video. My Mother loved Bob White pattern and so do I. Thanks.
Wow, you have so many beautiful pieces !!!!!
I appreciate your knowledge of the company’s history.
So nice that you’ve shared so many great examples of Bob White pattern and the Smart pattern.
This is why I love your videos! I learn so much from you. They are always knowledge filled on unique items (to me anyway). Keep doing what you are doing Patrick so I can continue learning 😊
Thanks for sharing! I love learning about new things to look out for while out antiquing.
Very interesting, Patrick! Thank you for sharing 😊 P.S. I love the lung dish!
Patrick, fantastic video filled with a great collection. I’ve never seen this collection from Red Wing. Looks like I’ll be searching for every piece because I’m a now fan of this pattern. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and I’ll check out your page on IG.
😊 I use my grandmothers stoneware bowls as dog bowls. They no longer carry their bowls around from room to room.
I just discovered Red Wing, FB marketplace had just all kind of patterns of dinnerware. I bought what she had of Hearthside and I love it! I don't think it is too well known here in South. I tried sellkng sets of it on MP, but i still have. She had boxes of it, different designs.
Interesting ❤
My house was built in 1956. That lung dish is really eye catching!
