Glad to see this finally getting the attention it gets. I grew up right next to Coldwater creek and we often played in it as kids. I can’t tell you how many friends and people we knew who have died of some very rare cancers.
The fact our representatives can't just order them to do it is ridiculous.
Kind of that whole separation of power thing.
It appears that their system is like a business but that's not so, the government is a service organization. That is to assist the people with doing honest business. And they arrest for probable cause or a warrant only. That is the beauty of the law, but also the separation of powers. This violates the unlawful use of the powers of one group by another.

The EPA should not have any real authority. It should exist in an advisory capacity only.
EPA is a non-elected bureaucracy. Sen. Hawley has been working for a very long time to get the mess cleaned up.

In 2044, there will be another hearing In which the EPA will present their clean up plan that is in its final stage of getting approval to start the clean up by the end of the decade or in the 1st 1/2 of the next.

EPA let Pend Oreille County Road Department SPRAY EVERY DITCH including property privately own (such as mine) with Glyphosates when I walk near the area where they spray my lips feel numb. Last Spring a 6x6x7 pile of snow frozen solid into a huge chunk of ice, melted in one day. My well head protected ratio is within the Chemical sprayed ZONE. OH yeah and what up on the shut down of a paper mill where is the Level 1 and Level 2 disclosure of the chemical ponds used by the Mill that was to be sold to a Ukraine Man. Property held by a Real Estate company out of California.
This was why I left my home that was directly near the creek in. my backyard and the owners before me both died of Cancer. I was sick with several illnesses once moving into my home and living there and my dog got cancer from digging in the dirt. It has and is a nightmare! The EPA tested years ago and it was a joke when trying to get the truth.

The Epa is a good organization at its basis but their bureaucracy allows oversight on things like aquifers contamination. They chose at founding rather than committing to testing every aquifer well just test none of them and say they’re all clean to drink forever and perpetuated a lie about how miraculously good our water table is here

We should be able to dispose of it but the project has been held up for years. We have tons of this waist sitting outside the San Onofre plant. Materials are and have been waiting since before the plant shut down. It is in a place that has a huge potential for it to contaminate the West Coast of California and Mexico.
