Those are some big healthy cats. I would never want to walk onto one in the wild but they really are beautiful creatures. Thanks for sharing the footage.
I live in the NW as well. It’s scary to think how many mountain lions are lurking in the wilderness while doing hiking and camping. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, there is a healthy population. I get several on my cameras that I leave out all winter; thankfully I've never had a bad encounter with them. Thanks for watching!
This is the best cougar compilation I've seen. They're my favorite animal and they're even in this area up in the hills. I'm more concerned about bears than cougars as far as my safety is concerned, but bear sightings have been rare here.
I live in Western Washington, as well. I hike a little bit by myself, at Kanasket Palmer State Park. I get too creeped out to go by myself much, anymore!😂
One time I was bow hunting elk in the North Fork of the John Day Wilderness and fell asleep near a spring. When I woke up and moved around a bit, I found Cougar tracks, fresh, in a dusty trail not 50 ft away. I never fell asleep hunting again.

I agree, safer to hike in a group. Thanks for watching and Happy Holidays!
Big healthy cats, Thanks.

That would be quite an experience. I'm sure they've seen me before. Thanks for watching!

Here in WA State they're called cougars
This is what happens when you leave puddy tat outside too long.
Is this mountain lion a male or a female?
The 30, 52, and 6:05 videos are female. The rest are males. Thanks for watching.
❤😻👍
Really cool footage but the clickbait thumbnails are lame really doesn't fit the nature vibes
Thanks for watching

Thanks for watching!
What beautiful, magnificent creatures, and such an important part of the ecosystem as well. It’s a tragedy that they’re allowed to be hunted.
