1) they are breaking a partnership and a business (lets NOT forget, in street apparel market, which is cluttered with millions of unorganized / dumped / duplicates / seconds products and each city has fashion steet, the main founder took risk and invested. and he is also open to give 20%)
2) 4 out of 5 sharks are in D2C business, all they were doing was INSTIGATE the techie and take the talent away for their own business...

Not really. In almost every massive startup/business in the past 20 years, the main person who runs the show is the main founder and equity owner, and the guy who finances or puts money in is the minor equity owner. This company is nothing with Ashutosh, in fact Ashutosh could partner with anyone to start a new company and destroy this company/brand.
In this case, the guy who does everything and should be ceo has no equity, and the guy putting in money owns all of it despite being of no value. No VC will fund anything or give them money without inverting this structure and making Ashutosh CEO or majority owner, the other guy is useless and should be bought out.
Think about Facebook for example, Eduardo Saverin put all the initial money in and was a small equity owner while Zuckerberg put nothing in but ran the entire company, a 3:58 nd owned over 80%.

I think if i invest in any business then i will decide what i have to give my manager and employs.. Sharks should not break the employee of other company
but its not just about the investment right , when everything is done by your employee and if he feels like i can make my own brand because he knows everything so obviously he will move out , same thing happened with my father , a guy started using my father and very less share when my father asked for a raise he dint do it for years my father opened his own business and the other have no customers , even for me i run a cloud kitchen but i gave my cook a good share so now he works there because its his business also

3rd : he isjust 26. Tum ny us k mind ma garbage dal dia or achi bhali salary sy bhi wo bechara hath dhoy ga. Agr tumhary pas millions $ ha to hr kisi py nhi hoty.
4th : agr yeh banda in sharks k pas dubara koi company ly k ay ga to yeh 100 keedy nikaly gy. 1 to expertise na hony sy bahir jay gi dusri high value add nhi pay gi. Teesry ko vibe nhi ani. Bachy sirf peush or amit jo k dil sy bhi achy ha i like them plus gayani baba😅.

IMO - He has taken a risk, put in money, the tech guy was always making money in commission, High Risk High Return. and production is being managed by the big guy... he has ensured good quality at low mrp. That is the bottom line for repeat orders, not marketing.

Everybody who puts in money can create a Product but getting customers/ generating sales is the real task. In their Business, Ashutosh with his digital marketing prowess is the one who is bringing in high volume of sales through online channels.
So, very rightly Shark also understood that the moment Ashutosh leaves, their sales would crash.
@@apkgk in that case everyone who is good at digital marketing will be an entrepreneur, there is a reason why he is choose to stick with his partner with 10% equity offer.
@@punitagrawal7091 and the reason for agreeing 10% is, he's a Young guy who doesn't have a idea of how to negotiate. He still has a freelancer mindset where he's happy working on a Commission. But the sharks have understood the value that he has brought to the business, without marketing their business has almost zero sale.
Every person with investment can build a factory, main task is to sell... and in their case, selling is happening through extensive digital marketing that is being looked after by Ashutosh. In short, he has proven his mettle, so he deserves high equity in the business.
Sharks are just breaking the good bond of founder and the employee. How is that person is the co founder when he didn't give any money to invest and he is working for the founder so what's wrong with this????
You guys are naïve, they tempered the sale of the company. He didn’t sold 300o t-shirts. The Bengali guy is mass producer of t-shirts he transferred its local sales on to companies name. Thats why other entrepreneur was merely standing up, he doesn’t had potential. I know this market and personally see how Kolkata’s ready wear industry works.

That guy has risked his 50 lakhs, so what’s wrong in taking the equity.
He invested 50 lakhs or half crore in the business, and that's why he deserves owning 90%, ...the other guy is just investing his time, infact both are investing their time ... he should not be forced to give out equity. Other guy is earning 1 lakh a month (which might grow a lot in future) without a single rupee of investment.

The tshirts are wayy too basic and they aren't even oversized 😭they are some weird size...i have done a lot of research for oversized tshirt coz i am on the heavier side and need large sizes..we have bonkers,the souled store,bewakoof..and these have proper and trendy oversized tshirt..toh kapde toh bilkul pasand nahi aye
