I bought one a couple of years ago also missing the rear sight slide. A beautiful rifle. But I have never found the slide. Have you or anyone else found one? Thank you for your videos!
Is this the short rifle? Can't wait to see a range video. I bought the 1893 Turkish barreled receiver from them recently. Cleaned up nicer than fair in my opinion, but finding a stock for it...hard to figure out what will work.
I saw that Turkish receiver. It will make an awesome rifle if you can source a stock. They can be hard to get your hands on. It's the long rifle but I think i'm going to order a short rifle too just to have the pair. Thanks for watching!
Remove stock group and remove the old finish; then steam wood 'til many of the old bumps 'n bruises swell up. Sand wood 'til stock is smooth to suit you, then refinish wood.
Good looking Mauser! Needs a bit of love.
You can tell it's really been "through it". She doesn't look bad for 120 though. Thanks for checking it out Renee.
This was awesome i was considering ordering one of these. Just needed to see somebody elses first.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy your rifle they are lovely shooters.
