I love my Colares, but I want a Delphos eventually as well.

Not all transformers add color homie. Some have a type or harmonic distortion that causes Nulling which actually makes the mic clearer than no having a transformer. Maybe Learn a little bit more about HOW these things actually work before giving someone false information.

LOL, where in this video did I say that ALL transformers add color? I'm speaking from experience of using these mics. The transformers in the Mini K67x and Colares are there to add color. But if you think my information is false, here is some info straight from Roswell site.
Colares - This is not a neutral or transparent microphone. It is unapologetically rich in both tone and harmonics
Mini K67x - The "x" in the model name refers to the transformer-coupled circuit, which gives the mic its trademark harmonic saturation.

@@TheAudioCzar well the way you worded it make it seem like you're saying that transformers add color. Not specially that the transformer Mike had made for his Roswell mics is specifically add color. It also has the same turn ratio as the Neumann km84 which is what the transformer is emulating.
