I remember Sir Ken Dodds watching his show on TV back in the UK, back in the 70s I loved every minute of his show. He was so funny he made me cry at times because of his jokes and humour. God Bless you. RIP.🙏ExPat Canada.🇨🇦

Excellent video. Watching in my garden in New Zealand. I am an ex scouser born in Liverpool and saw him at the Empire in the late 19 60's and I missed half of his jokes because I was crying with laughter for two hours. One of a kind. 💖
certainly was 1 of a kind, very unique character

@@JamesOhanlon yr welcome
I met Ken many years ago he had I big poodle with him I think , I was a barman in a bingo hall in Enfield and he was doing a cabaret act there. needless to say the show overran by 40 minutes. I met Ken on the stairs to his dressing room and said 'I enjoyed your act Ken but you are not really my cup of tea' I remember his rather surprised reply ' Tell me young man who is your cup of tea ?' He was not offended at all and he and I sat and had a drink together at the end of the evening , great memories.
Nice memories and great story. Nice one.
Good Video......We shall never see the likes of him again Ex Pat Australia

Yes indeed, well said
I worked in a dental lab , he came in asking for help his famous teeth had broken - we sorted him out , came back a few times just to see us , smashing guy
That's the sort of guy he was. Good memories hey.
Yeh , nice to see the knotty ash ATC squadron as guard of honour
Even during a funeral video they have to have advertisements what an absolute disgrace, shame on the advertisers
Good nigh sir Ken great all round entertainment beautiful singer .miss you .rest in peace.🌹🌹🌹
Very nicely made video, very difficult to shoot I should think. I thought the band was excellent if a little repetitive and the Diddy men did Doddy proud. Thanks for uploading the video, very much appreciated.
Thanks. Yeah it was a little hard to take, especially considering i was carrying two camera's on me too, as well as a video camera. Done the best i could considering. Appreciate the comment

Horses 🐴 and poor Donkeys are still Slogging for Humans, right to the End...✅
Does anyone know the name of the piece being played on the organ as Sir Ken's coffin is carried into the Cathedral?
Top man 👍
A colourful kalidascope of colour and humour mournfully and drearily bid farewell. Sad.
Tatty bye old friend. R.I.P.
A true scouser. Never forget my missus told me she and her sister delivered your papers for many years, at christmas you always came out with a £50 note from under the matress as you used to tell them. You will be making them all laugh in heaven no doubt. The people of knotty ash, particularly the school will miss you and no doubt so will most of the human race, at least the 1s with a funny bone
Nice one
Was that his childhood home at the start
Yes it was, and were he lived when he passed too
Shouldn’t the horses have had black plumes?
The only funny thing about this, is that the conductors using a tickling stick. Tatty bye.
Ken Dodds dads dogs dead
No offence I can't imagine anything more boring
...than what?
@@georgealderson4424 a religious funeral
@@didwest1249 It depends who is taking in and what they say about the person
@@georgealderson4424 maybe it's cos I'm not religious and find it all pointless and a waste of money the person is gone thank you
