I've had this exact head for about ten years, and where it really seems to shine is when you put something like a tube screamer in front of it as a boost. It really tightens up that low end, which can be a bit "flubby".
Yea man! Check out the Krank Orbit Electronix page on Facebook, so far it looks like only tube driven delays but he’s talking about doing more stuff soon!
Passive, that’s a Seymour Duncan SH-8 in that guitar, direct into the head with no external boost, just a noise gate set up so it’s quiet while we talk
@@dylanantenberg5561 it’s the Kevin Bond signature, they came in red and green versions but I’m not too sure how long they made them for, I bought this one used probably around 2007 or so
The amp sounds killer. You guys ended up with two shades of chronic cool. I kinda hate you right now, but that will wear off... All you forkers need is a barber and some better dance moves - done deal.
Tony is actually back but so far only really making tube driven delay pedals. He’s talked and hinted at the possibility of firing up more stuff though so there’s always hope!
www.orbitelectronix.com He’s also on Facebook as Krank Orbit Electronix. I’m a little interested in the delay pedals but I don’t really use effects too much.

I fully agree with this, takes an overdrive extremely well!
Sounds sick!
It’s a pretty good sounding amp. I think it was their best one they made. Shame they are gone
Tony is actually back making Krank branded pedals now, there’s still hope of another return 🤞
@@BlackBridgeSound Really? Wow I didn't know that. I'd love to see a whole new line of Krank amps with Midi control. That would be badass.

Active or passive pickups?

I keep trying to get Mike to cut a lot off the top but he said two periods of mullets in his life was enough
Too bad this company isn't around anymore. They made some kick ass amps

@@BlackBridgeSoundwhere can I find these delay pedals you speak of? I have a Rev 1+ and it’s great for metal and a lot of harder rock too
