This piece will always have a special place for me. It was used for our wedding processional, back in 1988. It is one of the most beautiful musical creations I have heard.
The musical progression in this beautiful melody sounds like the ‘journey of life’......simply gorgeous! Down to the Moon is an incredibly creative CD from a incredible musical group.
I was in the US Army, stationed in Korea. Was already a huge fan when this came out. However, I had this playing in my room in the barracks, when guys came to me asking where did I find this music, and who this was. Andreas made many fans that day.
the best short unpretentious little piece full of emotion . I could listen to it endlessly, especially whilst driving thru a forest full of fall colors...
I think God lent one of His finest harpists to earth for a few decades to sooth the human soul. When Andreas leaves he will return to the hosts above...and I'm sure he'll play this one more than a few times there.
I heard this piece when I was 16 in 2003. My school councellor made me up a mixed tape to help with sleep. I really liked this piece so 10 years later I got that relaxation tape he gave me and played this piece and another I liked and used Shazam to find out what they were. The secret, the candle and love and Field of Gold by Roger Eno.
It's one of my favourite albums too. It's a shame it is so short though. I think it clocks into 36 minutes only but those where the days of the vinyl records.
Esta melodía es de origen divino!! La primera que escucho en UA-cam este 1º de Enero del 2024!! Felicidades a Todos!!
Most beautiful instrumental ever.....love it
This one always brings tears to my eyes Andreas vollenweider

Fana Mzoneli, who introduced me to Andreas Vollenweider back in 1985 and to Just the Two of Us by Grover Washington in 1985. Thank you.

Takes me back to a special part of my life.
My all time favourite piece of music from my all time favourite artist.
We had this music on my grandmother's funeral two years ago, love it.
Love A.V! He is a genius! Been listening to him for almost 20 years and love him as much now as I did back then :)

This piece is very beautiful it could just keep going it makes me feel a little sad.
I admit, this may sound morbid, but if I had one song to pick on my deathbed, this would be the one...without question.
Are you still alive?
I get it.
Johnny Carson once indulged himself and gave Andreas 15 of his show one night because he was such a fan.
