Your videos are great. I love that you keep it clean and positive while giving a "real" commentary. Thank you for sharing your experiences and giving some insight to what is the most common occurrences and options available to the average student regardless of class and major.
You sooooo right about that time management! I read a book before I went to college called Making College Count that really spelled out how to study for college and it set my mindset right for XULA. And when it comes to food, even though I absolutely adored the cafeteria food, I had tuppleware for all the food on the yard events. I also joined all the organizations and forums that served dinners and/or snacks and/or lunches each meeting for extra food access (and information). You'd be surprised how much food is there hahahaha.
Video Idea Requests: An entire video showcasing all the athletic XULA games- maybe even interview some of the athletes for them to share their experiences with the coaches, A video just showing the day in the life of a financial aid officer and how they try to help students, a tour of all the opportunities in the different buildings that post jobs, internships, etc. , a premed office tour and the people that students should chat with, an entire walking tour of every building on campus-even if you are driving in some parts to get to the next area, a video covering midterm or finals week and showing how studious everyone is-show the library all decked out, maybe interview a student from each major to explain why they chose their major and what their favorite xula class is, etc. things that would give us alumni insight on what to tell potential students to expect coming in or applying

so this video has been the most informational ive seen about xula. Im a incoming freshmen myself and I def wanted to get some more background about what I was getting myself into. My major concern was my car, i currently live in a small city that is Michigan called Flint and its a big size difference in New Orleans from where I come from. But you have cleared up any doubts I had about not being able to bring my car with me. I thank you so much for making this video and being honest with us because i needed that. I hope I get to meet you coming up soon!

Question, what would happen if your vaccines waived? I get mine wavied for high school. Will the still allow you on campus if your not fully?
hey ! i’m not really sure how a waived vaccine works here at xula , have you tried contacting the health department?
If you have them waived you may be able to get housing on one of the hotels that they house students at but to actually be housed on campus the vaccine might still be a requirement. Email every department that you can to get the information that you need. Email the Office of Student Affairs, Admissions, Health Services, department head, etc. definitely keep asking and print out any information you get for proof!!!
