Aviators - Mechanical Instinct (Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Song)

- I didn't want to do it. I refused to hop on the bandwagon and make a FNAF song just like every other UA-cam musician, but the temptation was too much. It's one of those things I guess, it just inspires awesome music.
So here it is, a song based on Five Nights at Freddy's 2, written from the perspective of a security guard trying to escape the animatronics, and realizing they're more than simple machines.

Lyrics:
One step at a time
I'm going outta my mind
I'm being hunted by something primal
They're just simple machines
Yet tainted souls they seem
For five nights I'll fear for my survival
Are they mechanical
They hunt like animals
Freezing for seconds while see their corpses
I'm getting panicked now
I'm locking this place down
I'm feeling watched by unnatural forces
Looks like I'd better run for my life
I'll never be in one piece to see night five
I've got eleven on my tail, with no time to think
Of a way to survive mechanical instinct
Just an hour more
I'm closer than before
To making it out of this ghastly madhouse
I'm feeling desperate
I'm starting to regret
Taking my chances with no way out
Who's walking down the hall?
I can't keep track of them all
A music box plays my dying song
This is my one escape
The mask still on my face
But they have known I've been here all along
Here, all alone in the darkness
Why, can't I escape their soulless eyes
It's a lost cause now
They've got my scent, and I can't get out
Now, i'm afraid to look because
They, are just beasts to hunt me down
With no way fight back, the night is already over
Mechanical instinct
Mechanical instinct
Sometimes the smaller people have the better content.
:|
Dawm right.
This is seriously true! Every underrated fnaf song is the best!!
UA-cam algorithm ain’t that good sadly
Hell yeah your right
Oh... This is the eighth track for FNAF2...
Remember! YOU, were the first!
ConfusedQuestionnaire He was ;o
WOW...It's...It's...Sayonnara Maxwell
Ты здесь? А на своём канале ремиксить будешь???
OMFG
Came back because my brain suddenly pulled this up from the depths of my memory and my god it's such a bop
Bro same
my fav part is Looks like I'd better run for my life
I'll never be in one piece to see night five
I've got eleven on my tail, with no time to think
Of a way to survive mechanical instinct
Me too
Yep same here O^O

This dude's songs are hidden gems
fr
literally
For real, I am quite mad that he didn't get as popular like The Living Tombstone, DAgames, TryHardNinja and JT Music.
I think its a band
@@Chilly_1 no, it's an actually one guy doing everything.
this is one of those fnaf songs that doesnt feel like it's trying to just hop on a bandwagon and get views. it genuinely feels like its coming from elements of the universe and arguably the lore (albeit other tracks like little horror story are more rooted in lore than this). not to mention it fucking slaps.
I mean they were both made by the same guy
this guy's songs are really good, different from tryhardninja that listening to it, I feel like he's created so many that it doesn't even have content anymore, and repeats in several songs things he's already used in another one, making his songs something totally repetitive and boring
And the fact having only seen the album art, it took me like 10 listens to even realize it was a FNAF song
@@NaoEstouChapado I mean you are not wrong, he's new songs are not that intresting comparative to the ones from the past (There are some good ones too but not so much) and I feel like it stared after he made that song "I got no body".
the description even says how he didn't exactly want to hop on the fnaf bandwagon but the temptation was too much and he did it but still bothered to make the song a fucking original banger
The fact that this song even aired on radio is truly amazing!
Wait, which radio?
Tell me everything please
Its called Fm1@@EF-ny1pf

WHAT-
I first heard this song back where I was still 12-13 back in 2014. Came back in 2021 and it's still good as if it's still new.
Man, it's been years!
I was like 7 8 by that time, shit time goes by
this song NEEDS to be the credits song for the fnaf 2 movie
Yes
These were the good times cause I remember when the first fnaf came out 😊
I know how it feels...
Aww Yeah I Miss The Early Days Of Fnaf
I saw this comment when it had 69 likes. For once it is not nice that I liked your comment.
2020 and I still get the feels
I wish it was the old days
My favorite part:
Looks like I'd better run for my life
I'll never be in one piece to see night five
I've got eleven on my tail, with no time to think
Of a way to survive mechanical instinct
What's yours?
Mine? Well probably..................ALL OF IT!!!!! :D
+Nae Knez Hmm....Yeah! I mean, Aviators did a great job on the whole song.
They did a great job on all of their FNAF songs! :D
The whole song
my favorite part:

This is my absolute favorite FNaF song so far. It just fits the whole atmosphere of the game perfectly, not to mention how awesome the lyrics and the vocals are. I just can't stop listening to it. Great work!
Still your favorite 7 years after?
Oooh yes I wonder
This has to 100% be my absolute favourite Fnaf fan song.
It fills me with so much nostalgia and it's just so good. Even after all this time.
Why doesn't this song get as many views as all other FNaF songs?!
I'm furious right now!!!
Because it’s a soooooooo gooood song
still not as many as Never Be Alone and that song has been out for shorter amount of time!
Awesome song you did here, this really is an outstanding piece of work:D
AYYYYY. REPLY ME PLS.
@soda oh lol
i going to win
Yes
yes!!
Made 6 years ago and I still come back for nostagia. Thanks Aviators. Even though you didn't want to hop on the bandwagon, I'm happy you did.
Damn this song really is a pretty old gem, I had completely forgotten about this song but as soon as I saw the title of the song Mechanical Instinct I started singing the song before even clicking on the song lmao. I am glad this song just randomly appeared in my recommended videos :)
Still goes incredibly hard 7 years later
this has in my opinion the best chorus in any fnaf song
Is very cool. Are you listen the remix?
I might have a slight obsession with this song
Victoria Senpai same
did you get over it?
Hey, Jude Must’ve, but thanks for reminding me of this song. Still love it.
@@jayhursh6428 no problem 😊 it does slap tho
@@jayhursh6428 dang u came back after 4 years this song goes hard after 4 years still lol
These are the only FNAF songs I can play on the aux like they're socially acceptable pieces.
Genuinely some of my favorite music even to this day.

The virgin Man behind the slaughter
The chad mechanical instinct
This song is still a banger even in 2024
Aviator’s Five Nights at Freddy’s songs are so underrated!
Yeah, like mostly everyone talks about TLT, Mandopony and DAGames, but everyone seems to not even know about Aviators songs.
@@illyanesterenko8930 DAGames, Groundbreaking, Slyphtorm, SayMaxWell, Griffinila and more.
sad to think this song probably won't be in the fnaf 2 movie...
Yeah... Truly a sad fact.
@@illyanesterenko8930 at least we appreciate it

Henning A do you heave any notion of time?
The Assassin Spy
The OP was jokingly quoting this song... Which was released in 2014... And wrote 2015.
So, yes. I _do_ have notion of time.
Henning A my bad dude i meant to reply to the other guy :3
lol
This popped up on spotify a while ago and I somehow never recognized is as a fnaf song. Have to say I like it even more with context
this still smacks after 9 years
The older fnaf songs are actual bangers
This has like that perfect blend of 80's synth pop and modern musical composition.
You did a great job with this, combining a catchy beat with frantic lyrics that harken the source material.
almost ten years listening to this banger! can´t get enough of it
My mind just decided that we should go back on a nostalgia trip.
Just as amazing as I remember it.
You can not make me hate this masterpiece
this song holds up so well despite all the time passage, true genius
This is probably the most underrated fnaf song…
And of course I end up back here, why, bc it’s still a bop
0:15 "based" -aviators
This is a truly hidden gem, thank you Aviators!
THIS IS SUCH A BANGER
Amazing song
damn, you say you hopped on the bandwagon but with a song this good I would say you took the reigns.
To be quite honest, since the song doesn't flat out say "five nights at freddy's" or anything else, this can stand as a self contained song itself. I think I prefer this for this reason over the Living Tombstone's song for the original game as you can like this song without having to know what its referencing.
AngelEmfrbl
true, but the references are strong. Anyone who has played the game will likely make the connection instantly.
AngelEmfrbl Aviators is really good at that. I've been a fan since the beginning, and many of his songs are referencing something without being flat out about it. If you don't know what it is, you can still listen to it and enjoy it, but it gives you that little bit of a bonus if you do know.
Keith Clark
*cough* ponies *cough*
cough yes cough
I can make lots of murder drones related things with this song
Still listening to this 8 years later...wow, i dont know how to feel except old
What a nostalgia trip listening to this in 2023
First listened to this on Spotify, had no idea it was about FNAF. Funnily enough, I thought of another survival horror game when listening to this song--Resident Evil 7!
That chorus flows like melted butter!
I FOUND IT AGAIN
I love this song so much!
If they make a FNAF movie sequel, I do hope they use this song for the credits. :)
Yeah, this song would fit pretty much then TLT one (no hate to him)
I had a funny mental image of the security guard singing this and the animatronics being background dancers! ^^
Dancers? HAHA why not! xD
Thanks. Now i'm seeing the security guard taking Freddy's mic, and singing this and they are dancing.
GalaxyNerd/Neon You're welcome! ^^
OMG best scene ever XDDDD somebody needs to draw that
The best I could do was write a fanfic of it XD
this is one of those songs that doesn't sound like a fan song, when i was younger i was even baffled to realise it actually was a fnaf fan song LOL
God damn dude, I know you didn't want to jump on the FNAF bandwagon based on the description but I'm glad you did, the lyrics, the way you sing, it's just all awesome and it's made me wanna check out your other stuff as well!
I like this music very much!
Слушая эту песню, я вспоминаю свои сны, наполненные бесконечными лабиринтами с людьми спасающимися от древнего зла, пожирающего саму человечность. Спасибо за воспоминания^^
жуть... но это круто!
Your voice is so RAGHHHHGG
9 years later and this still gets stuck in my head. You cooked with this
Just watched the fnaf movie and remembered this song
Had such great memories of this my favorite FNAF song. Then after 6 years later came back fills me with nostalgia it's so amazing to listen this song again through out the years. "Love you Scott Cawthon you're always the best!"
I really didn't even think it was fan fnaf music.
Ooooo, Very catchy! I like it!
SKITTLE!!!
i did not know you liked aviators
.-.
SKITTLE!
Blaze Feather wut.
Manifesting this bangger to be in the FNAF 2 movie
this song got so much crack in it i’m not even in the fnaf fandom anymore n i love it 😂
Who says only the 80`s had good synthie music
Get ready people, Fnaf 10th anniversary coming in !!!
Thank you brain for randomly remembering this song years and years after.
Weirdly enough, coming back, I just kinda feel like this is from the prospective of the night guard that is mentioned to have done night shift before Jeremey and then swapped to the day shift, having "complained" about the animatronics.
God this brings back nostalgic memories as a kid.
This is one of the best songs about FNAF!
true
Agreed
True
True
It’s been 8 years and now the first movie just realised wow time flies who’s watching in 2023?
I’m still obsessed with this song to this day and happy stim when it comes on
Ughhh this song is still so good
The chorus sounds a lot like the chorus in Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmics. I can't be the only one who noticed that, right?
Sweet Dreams originally came from Marilyn Manson.
Highlord Frieza
It didn't. The Eurythmics' came out in '83, and Manson's came out in '95.
I noticed that too! I was listening to it and noticed it sorta sounded like that
this song hasn't come out of my head for the last few years lol
When you remember this bop in 2024:
this song is so unreal I love it
Happy 8th Anniversary!
I remember listening to this 7 years ago on my way to school..
I'll turn 20 this year..
me too
am i dumb or does that not add up? not accusing u i just feel stupid lmao
Too :(
I feel old
@@BeebosJibby he would have been 13, middle school
7 years ago till now still doesn't get old
Best fnaf song to this day, can't change my mind
I love the singers voice and vocals and the instrumental is so good, nothing to hate about this one
It's a good thing you DID decide to make a FNAF song. This is really good.
this song is probably one of my favorite fnaf song
I still come back to this song, and recently got into more newer songs by aviators. I think this song will always be my absolute favourite fnaf song, I still remember when I first found it when the song came out
Ah, yes. The first ever Aviators song I remember hearing. When I was a young, naive child who was fucking terrified of animatronics because of a video game.
Good times~
Song’s still really good, too.
For some reason, when I hear _"I've got eleven on my tail",_ I picture one of those shots in a car chase where the camera's right next to one of the tires.
I love this song still a lot. One of my favorites from fnaf ^w^
as much as I don't like horror games, I can't deny how awesome a lot of the music for FNAF is XP And this one is no exception~ Its definitely up there as one of my faves~
Awesome job Avi!
Dude same here xD. I love the game but I can only play it for a while until I delete it because of how scary it is.
AnimatronicPony heck, I get scared playing Pac Man, I die playing horror games XDXD *shot*
FritzyBeat the first time I saw FNAF I was scared outta my mind but I love it so much now. You become used you the jump scares and after you see them about 20 times each.
FritzyBeat how do you get scared playing pacman?! i love that game!
"Looks like I'd better run for my life, I'll never be in one piece to see night five, I've got eleven on my tail, with no time to think, Of a way to survive mechanical instinct"
so using that as my skype quote
comments so old theyre talking about skype quotes
That's one hell of a run on sentence.
Damn... Skype
Damn, the nostalgia with this is almost surreal. Makes me long for the old FNaF community.
2023 and gladly keep hearing this.
this needs more recognition
0:56 - 1:09 i love that part lol
Some songs are just so good that the appreciation you feel is overwhelming. And this song, it never gets old
We gotta find a way to ensure this is in the sequel
I like this. Thank you
I'm so glad you did. This is, quite possibly, the best FNAF song out there - one of the very few ones I catch myself singing. Brava!
Aviators the only person who can make me enjoy any content about FNAF great job on the song btw never stop making amazing songs man
Y'all are sleeping on Aviators
its been 8 years...
I'm from 2023, and this song really smells of the time it came from. And it's definitely good
