Lyrics:
It has been much too long
Since I put on my skin
They must have hid it away when they found out where I'd been (woah)
I don't think you belong
You'd best get out of here
I see you hidden away through the window, drenched with fear (woah)
Getting hard to see
Don't forget to breathe
Now you've lost the feed
Time to watch you bleed
Why are you trying to find
The secrets left behind
You'll never know exactly what it is that came before
The present past is gone
Your future won't be long
Don't risk your life in search of all the things that came before
In 1987, they didn't go to heaven
Soon as the cameras die
I won't be far behind
You'll never know exactly what it is that came before
Seems you won't heed my warning
You just keep coming back
Despite hallucinations giving you these heart attacks (woah)
But now my time is coming
I'll be the last to laugh
The spirits can't protect you when you're being torn in half (woah)
Getting hard to see
Don't forget to breathe
Now you've lost the feed
Time to watch you bleed
Why are you trying to find
The secrets left behind
You'll never know exactly what it is that came before
The present past is gone
Your future won't be long
Don't risk your life in search of all the things that came before
Investigations be damned, you'll never know who I am
You may have saved their souls
But you just played your role
You'll never know exactly what it is that came before
Why are you trying to find
The secrets left behind
You'll never know exactly what it is that came before
The present past is gone
Your future won't be long
Don't risk your life in search of all the things that came before
You'd best stop wasting your time, reading between the scan lines
So long as number four
Does not build on the lore
You'll never know exactly what it is that came before
You'll never know exactly what it is that came before

This is by far my favorite FNAF3 song, if not my favorite FNAF song! The music is wonderful- the blend of folk and rock fits surprisingly well and I love the plucky strings and accordian (Or harmonica? Sounds great either way!). Also, the lyrics flow well and fit into the cannon, ignoring the 4th wall break ;p
I was under the impression that Springtrap was singing to the player.
