What continues to amazing me is how Connie can take a song from any genre or era and sing it as if she artist who created and/or sang the song. I have said it before and will say it again. Connie, you truly are one of the most underrated talents our music world has!

@@Biologoenlared I don’t doubt that Connie has lots of people who listen to her music (me included) and I know that she has had quite a bit of success in Asia. I would just have liked to see her have more success in the UK and do some concerts here but as long as she is happy with her career that’s the important thing.
I think I saw somewhere that she doesn’t want the ‘worldwide fame’ with all the pressure and attention that comes with it - could be making that up but can’t blame her if it’s true. ‘Success’ means different things to different people I guess.
I think for Connie to become really big, like Jackie Evancho did briefly, she would have to sign with a big record label, and find a top mentor and producer, like David Foster. But I dont think Connie and her family want that kind of a hassle. She is making pretty good money now, especialy in Asia, and investing it well. So she is making a pretty good living, as a smaller scale star, without all the hassles of fame, the spotlight, and paparazzi.
And darn near everybody on utube has heard of Connie. Jackie Evancho probably has bigger fame, since she had multiple gold records, adn coud pack sellut conserts all over. But Jackie also had a lot of turmoil in her personal life. I think Connie may end up with less fame, and a bit les money, but with the happier life.
I dont think these two know what they are doing for the souls of people.......pure talent

I had never heard of Connie Talbot until UA-cam algorithms brought this video up a few days ago. What a pleasant surprise to learn of both of you, such beautiful voices individually and together. What a hidden treasure Connie is, strangely, after two appearances on BGT and such successful albums as a grade-schooler. Thank You Boyce Avenue for these videos and your tours to help with her Epiphany! I think you both are awesome!
Connie at 6 was on Britain's Got Talent the first one 2007. She opened the gate for all the young kids. She has won So many awards and worlds records. Prepare to cry. There's also a vid at 3 her singing amazing. She got her talent from her grandmother,

I have always been a huge Lionel Richie fan and this song was very special to me way back then. Not very often do I hear cover songs that compare to Lionel and Diana Ross. Connie when this song came out originally I was just a bit younger than you are now. Wow, did the two of you ever do this song justice! Just beautiful, there are no other words. A song writer gives meaning to a song & amazing singers bring it to life with feeling & emotion the way you both did. I hope there are many more collabs with you two in the future. 💜🎶

These 2 did such a great job. I'm not taking anything away from them or their talent. However the best version of this song by leaps and bounds was done by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey. It's like comparing a good college quarterback to Tom Brady. It's like comparing a good basketball player to Michael Jordan. These 2 are talented but not even remotely close to the level of either Luther or Mariah.
