I don't have an SG, actually I never really liked SGs BUT the trick might be that the V also has that shifted string situation that makes the SG uncomfortable for me, but I mostly play the V standing up maybe an SG would work out standing just as nicely.
Ok I have just seen you mention that :) comparison with an SG is still a point though

How do you rate the high frets access compared to an SG? I am thinking of slide playing mainly
Never played a V, why I am asking. Would be good to see a Trucks style on a V for example
