He really ought to be on more frequently, i cant believe i havent been consuming his content this whole time. Was only eger interested in 40k lore til this dude starts talkin about fantasy. I dont like fantasy much but i love how passionate he is about it
Would've been funny if the algorithm had gone the other way around too though. Someone just browsing holy sermons, like you do, then suddenly UA-cam recommends "HOLY BOLTER OF TERRA"
Questions: 1) Would the Leagues of Votann consider Machine Spirits to be Ironkin? At least if it was strong enough? (I presume they will pass off their Ironkin as machine spirits if an Imperial spots one) 2), to give a summary of my longer rambling in the previous one's comments: Given the Tyranids have done this before in other galaxies, why isn't the Hive Mind *already* a Warp God, instead of simply showing signs of becoming one? Is the warp different there? Did the god tyrranid stay there and a new god is formed in each galaxy? Did the god 'starve' because everyone was eaten and those galaxies are dead?
Don't get me wrong, Kelly is a good writer. It's only that the Kelly-verse Tau is basically just the realisation of every imperial assumption/meme about them.
Question: with the rumors of a loyalist Primarch returning, how would you like to see any of them return lore wise and what tabletop action/ effect would you want to see them with?
Two parts of the story that Rem forgot to mention, one of which I think is really important to the ending of the book is that after talking with Mersadie Bob goes and talks with Iacton Qruze and they get along really well, discussing about the campaigns of the SoH and how the friendship of Horus and Sanguinius is legendary but also of how Iacton doesn't fully trust the BA (and by extension Sanguinius) because they used to be awful and marines are mirrors of their primarchs so you know The other much more important part is about the conversation with Bob and Sanguinius where he gives Bob permission to publish the book AFTER the Crusade is over and from a little bit of the book (where Bob jokes about that friendship about Horus and Sanguinius) we can assume the books was actually written sometime during the heresy and Windera ended up hunting down and killing Bob, because she became one of the first Inquisitors and you know that pretty much explains the ending; what I also found really interesting about Windera is that she herself doesn't believe in the Emperor's divinity, she doesn't even believe He's still alive she's simply using His and Sanguinius' images as linchpins for the Imperium to keep existing and in order.
Great video!! Regarding Psychic Awakening the one thing I was really excited about was Fabius Bile - so I very eagerly bought War of the Spider.. only to find out that despite being on the gorram cover Old Bill only got a few pages at the back - most of the book was still Custard and Nurgle. I was.. unamused XD
Question for next podcast: I've heard recently that Dorn has been declared missing and not dead (I think it was mentioned in one of Valrak's videos). If this is the case, do you two think he would be in terms of location, and why stay "missing" (besides GW wanting to have him show back up at some point)
Question, what books would be good pick up to learn more about mechanicus culture. While the great work is a good book i want learn about mechanicus as a culture.
The Forges of Mars trilogy is a good look at the inner workings of the Mechanicus. What makes it interesting is it shows what life is like for those on the lower rungs of the Mechanicus pecking order, so we get to see multiple perspectives on the events that go on.
Question: I’ve always liked the idea that the Orks waaagh field sustained yarrick. What if.. after the great rift and the psychic awakening flooded the galaxy with extra warp juice. The link between Yarrick and the Orks intensified, leading to physical changes. The Orks imagination of what ol bale eye might be changing him in to a giant, with a lascannon level bale eye. He’s not dead, just being “entertained” by the inquisition!
Question: Does the Emperor do the things that he does and thinks the way that he does because as an anathema its nature, he is a tool for humanity to counter chaos, he will do whatever it takes to protect humanity and keep chaos at bay by any means?
Question: Given that the Arks of Omens Abbadon confirms Fulgrim is active in the galaxy how long before we see his model and an Emperors Children Codex ?
Question: If Aunshi tried to speak to Farsight and Farsight tried to strike him out of rage only to get KO'D by the Ethereal, What would Aunshi do, drag Farsight back to the empire, kill him, or leave and return when Farsight is ready to talk?
Question: What if the ethereals are daemons of the goddess of the greater good? We know that time in the warp is not linear. And causality loops have been looked at before (Azrael and the scattering of the fallen… maybe) and the Ethereals “appeared” and have powers that influence the Tau. So the goddess seeds the Tau with the ethereals which inexorably leads to her own creation in the warp.
Question: If Farsight and Cato Sicarious fought again and Farsight wins and Cato dies or was severely injured that he became a dreadnought, what would happen next? Would this get the attention of Guilliman? If Cato survived would he be hellbent on killing Farsight?
Question: With the reveal Pariah Nexus as a continuation of the 9th edition reveal trailer has raised some eyebrows with two of the characters are having a theological debate. My question is, what do you hope will happen with the Guardsman character? I personally hope it doesn't turnout that she was dead the entire time and this is a daemon tempting the Sister. I know it's to much to hope for but I'm hoping for something more spectacular like the Guardsman turning out to be a Sensei because it would be rather funny for a Sister of Battle to be lectured by an actual daughter of the Emperor. BTW, I just wanted to talk about this as its been bugging me since the trailer dropped. Don't actually expect you two to answer.
Question: Red Thirst and Black Rage, how do they work now? Time was that the Red Thirst just made the Blood Angels thirsty for blood and the Black Rage made them think they were Sanguinius. One was temporary and the other was not. Now there's transformations involwed, some can overcome both or fall to both. Whats the latest for all of this?
I was trying to read up on these on the wiki the other day and it was frankly very confusing as they kept seeming to blend into each other and have contradictory origins. Not sure if its convoluted lore or a badly written wiki
Question: What would the Ethereals do if someone like ShadowSun became a champion of the Greater Good or others in the empire are worshiping the entity?
QUESTION Resubmition :) Which of the more famous space marine chapters belive the Emperor to be a god and which do not? I always get confused by it. Thank you :-)
Question number 2.... would you find a tau v eldar book fun that was about their stealth units against the rangers and their stealth abilities! Could even throw in the raven guard for fun
Where can I find the entry to the writing competition? I have 100 ideas and energy to do them , it’ll be choosing between them, that will be difficult.
Question: what does the average citizen of a hive city know about the Horus Heresy? Do they know he fell to Chaos or do they think he just betrayed the Imperium out of greed
Not much as the state run religion of the imperium says that 9 devils appeared and the emperor created the 9 primarchs to fight them and that the 9 are sleeping and will return when the imperium needs them.
I’m sorry but under selling the Fulgrim Primarch book is criminal. It is the fundamental character study of his virtues and flaws and shows him being badass at the same time. Josh Reynolds was to the emperors children as Chris Wraight is to the White Scars. (Also Russ book is great as a Lion primarch book)
I've always wanted to see Sotek on this podcast super excited

1:55:28 "You're the AoS version of Remleiz" is the highest praise you can get as an AoS lore UA-camr.
Can't say I expected to see the Loremaster himself on this podcast, but I'm all for the Fantasy crew making an appearance!

Question for Sotek
What are you planning on doing about the rat problem in Lustria that has spilled over into Australia aka the chaos waste

I don't know how that would interact with the Tau being dim in the warp, but its a cool idea and gels nicely with the 'I want to exist' thing

QUESTION (probably late)
Considering Guilliman's reaction to seeing what the imperium had become..
how would Big E himself react?
Question: What would the Ethereals do if someone like ShadowSun became a champion of the Greater Good or others in the empire are worshiping the entity?
Question: In the 41st Millennium, is Pluto still considered a planet?
Question: If there were mutated Tau like the Tau'Rus, Tau with wings, or Taurannosaurus, how will this effect the caste system?
QUESTION Resubmition :) Which of the more famous space marine chapters belive the Emperor to be a god and which do not? I always get confused by it. Thank you :-)
Ayyyyyyyyy Sotek!
Question number 2.... would you find a tau v eldar book fun that was about their stealth units against the rangers and their stealth abilities! Could even throw in the raven guard for fun
55:32 YES! I got it to stick!
Why to people keep not knowing about the Mutant Football League reboot, it's a great game.
