I hope Bill rests in peace. we need more sweet people like him. We will miss you, Bill. Thank you, Scott, for letting us know of his passing. You take care.
You gotta love such quirky people. They are only real way to enjoy humanity. Give without getting is not normal today. Bill was a real standout. Thanks Scott and JTL for a great uplifting story. RIP Bill.
Oh no… such sad news . I remember that interview. Bill was one of a kind . It was like he was a bird’s song himself . Made people happy . RIP Mr.Bill Larkin . You are missed . His bird houses are treasures. I hope they went someplace that they will live on .
What a a fitting last name "Lark"in for a man who liked to build bird houses. They are beautiful and I liked the faces he painted on the trees. RIP Bill.
I remember seeing Jordan’s video , but there is never enough of Crazy Birdhouse guy to watch. He was an amazing man working hard to make others happy until the end. My dad did something similar when he retired, he made clocks & wooden things
Thank you for showing us a glimpse into his passion. I love bird houses. Scott, thank you for remembering him. I appreciate the upload. 🙏❤️🕊️ He seemed like such a beautiful soul.
There are so few people in life that get pure joy from others happiness. Scott, I'm glad you highlighted Bill's wonderful creation and the joy he gave others. A truly special human being Bill Larkin was. Thank you for sharing his happiness! ❤❤❤ RIP: Bill 🎉🎉🎉
What a wonderful, diverse world we live in! On roadtrips there are quite a few pockets of joy here and there across the U.S.. Thanks for bringing this one to us Scott and Jordan, I follow both of you and enjoy your content immensely.❤❤
What a spectacular house. He was very beautiful soul, very talented some of the houses were very detailed in painting. I hope the town kept his house and turned it into a community hub for crafting or something. It would be sad if they removed it. People like Bill are the real America.
I remember Jordans video, it was quite interesting. How sweet you were with him, he wanted to share his stories with you, Im so glad you took the time to listen! ❤️ Rest In Peace, Mr Larkin🌹
WOW, What a cool place and wonderful story!! Threw his life’s work and kindness what joy he was able to spread. Wonder how many lives Mr. Bill touched? Just think how many lives Jordan the Loin and yourself have touched throw your camera lens. Giving us a glimpse into a places, persons, or, event we would never learn about if not for yourself. Thank you for sharing your labor of love with us!!! Can’t wait for the next story that awaits us!!!
What a kind man. Just caring about God’s creatures. God rest his soul. I bet he’s greeting my beloved pets at the Rainbow Bridge. Kind, kind. He has the key to a true, loving spirit
What is beautiful is there are alot of people out there that are talented and have unique art. May god bless him it is nice to travel and meet kind people like him! Rip
I think this is one of my favorite videos of yours. What a sweet guy. The yard and house were incredible! Oh, and I think everyone needs a gnome garden. :-)
Oh, what a truly sweet man! I remember hearing he had passed, considering Loogootee is less than two hours from me. I’m so glad you all got to spend some time with him, he truly was a gem.
Scott, I LOVED this video. What a neat guy!!!! He was like an angel on earth! You and Jordan are so lucky to have gotten two of his bird houses! I wonder if someone is still selling his bird houses. Thank you for sharing Bill with all of us!!!! 🐦🦩🦜🦢🕊🦅🐓🦆🦉🦚
What a great guy ❤ he reminds me of my granddad. He had terrible issues with his back in his later years and despite being in near constant pain he was always upbeat and making people laugh and smile. I always think about that when i get in a sour mood over some trivial matter.
I watched the fantastic series that you and Jordan did, in fact I suggested several things that you did in the Carthage/Joplin, MO area, but for the life of me I don’t remember this episode! The old mind is just going, lol.
So glad you were in Southern Indiana Scott. Thank you for the interview with Bill. He was quite poplar in the area! So many people have his birdhouses. So glad you got a couple of them! ❤
I remember this video, Scott ! He was such a beautiful soul and a lovely man. I hope many of his bird houses find homes across the country now. What a legacy that would be, too ! RIP Bill :)
When I see someone making birdhouses I always think of Sissy Spacek’s role in David Lynch’s a Straight Story. Beautiful film. Very unlike Lynch’s other films.
There are people who make living in this world so interesting and better. And when they are gone, a void is there that will never be filled.
Well said.
Yur not wrong, Earth had the most interesting people.🙂
He made a little bird house in his soul.
He may be gone, but his artwork well leave forever. ❤️
Oh what A sweet man building bird houses for birds and people who came visit him.🎉 god bless for doing what he loved
RIP 🙏 Bill you are loved and missed
Amen

So, from a native Hoosier, lol, the town is pronounced...La go tee. It's ok. Definitely not anything like it's spelled. Love the channel!!

There aren't many colorful characters around anymore. RIP Bill. Modern tech is destroying our individualism. 😒
