I am a Greg Koukl fan and took courses a Biola's Talbot School.. My point, it so nice to see someone like Trent specifically mention how we talk to people matters. This is why there is no such thing as a Holy Spirit : "HOLY" is derived for the divinely honored sun. Holy, Holiday, Holy Spirit are all interrelated and come from the Hindu religion. The words are derived from "Holi" which is the great Hindu spring festival held in honor of "Krishna," the Hindu Sun-deity. THE PAGAN WORD "TRINITY" - THERE IS ALSO NO SUCH THING AS A TRINITY. "TRINITY" comes from paganism. The Trinity doctrine did not enter Christianity until the 300's. “The trinity got its start in Ancient Babylon with Nimrod - Tammuz - and Semiramis. Perhaps, however, the indebtedness of Christian theological theory to ancient Egyptian dogma is nowhere more striking than in the doctrine of the Trinity. The very terms used of it by Christian theologians meet us again in the inscriptions and papyri of Egypt. Originally the Trinity was a triad like those we find in the Babylonian mythology. The triad consisted of a divine father, wife, and son. The father became the son and the son the father through all time, and of both alike the mother was but another form." Most of Christianity teaches a Trinity doctrine that the trinity is 3 persons, the Father, Son and Spirit. In that case there should also be 3 thrones, yet scriptures teach that there is only one throne. Psalms 47:8 Yahweh reigns over the nations; Yahweh sits on his righteous throne. Isaiah6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the House. Revelation 4:2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. Revelation 3:21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:24 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. Psalms 11:4 Yahweh is in his righteous House; Yahweh's throne is in heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man. Revelation 22:1 Then the Messenger showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb Just One Throne. "The Puranas, one of the Hindu Bibles of more than 3,000 years ago, contain the following passage: 'O ye three Lords! know that I recognize only one God. Inform me, therefore, which of you is the true divinity, that I may address to him alone my adorations.' The three gods, Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva [or Shiva], becoming manifest to him, replied, 'Learn, O devotee, that there is no real distinction between us. What to you appears such is only the semblance. The single being appears under three forms by the acts of creation, preservation, and destruction, but he is one.' "Hence the triangle was adopted by all the ancient nations as a symbol of the Deity . . . Three was considered among all the pagan nations as the chief of the mystical numbers, because, as Aristotle remarks, it contains within itself a beginning, a middle, and an end. Hence we find it designating some of the attributes of almost all the pagan gods" (Sinclair, pp. 382-383). Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra are not deities different from Shiva, but rather are forms of Shiva. As Brahma/Sadyojata, Shiva creates. As Vishnu/Vamadeva, Shiva preserves. As Rudra/Aghora, he dissolves. An old passage states that “..Brahma is One, yet includes His brother. Vishnu is One, yet existeth not apart from His brother, younger in point of time yet older far. Shiva is One, and antedates Them both, yet He appeareth not nor is He seen, until They both have cycled through Their courses…." Egypt "The Hymn to Amun decreed that 'No god came into being before him (Amun)' and that 'All gods are three: Amun, Re and Ptah, and there is no second to them. Hidden is his name as Amon, he is Re in face, and his body is Ptah.' . . . This is a statement of trinity, the three chief gods of Egypt subsumed into one of them, Amon. Clearly, the concept of organic unity within plurality got an extraordinary boost with this formulation. Theologically, in a crude form it came strikingly close to the later Christian form of plural Trinitarian monotheism" (Simson Najovits, Egypt, Trunk of the Tree, Vol. 2, 2004, pp. 83-84). "TRINITY" comes from paganism. Nimrod - Tammuz - and Semiramis; The first trinity Nimrod started the pagan religions, so they all started with him. Nimrod is the one who started pagan religions and the Trinity belief goes back to him, He turned his back on Yahweh and became the first False Messiah as Sol the Sun, that went by many different other names after the Tower of Babel, from the many cultures that came from Yahweh changing their languages and dispersing them, starting new cultures and beliefs.. The Trinity doctrine did not enter Christianity until the 300's. Ancient religions had triple deities: Wicca triple goddesses Maiden, Mother, Crone. Horus is the son of Osiris and Isis, the divine child of the holy family triad. He is one of many gods associated with the falcon. His name means "he who is above" and "he who is distant". The SPIRIT is the FATHER. So, that takes care of FATHER and SPIRIT. The SON is the FLESH that the FATHER put Himself (who is Spirit) into FULLY. John 14:16-20 - In these verses he is saying that he is the Spirit. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. This is Greg Koukl’s approach, explained in his book, Tactics. I was SUPER into this approach some years ago, but I’ve decided it’s not right. I’ve come to believe that as St. Peter informs us, apologetics is indeed giving a DEFENSE of the faith, a reason for the hope in us WHEN we are asked about it. This Koukl/Columbo approach flips that, such that we are the ones asking questions to challenge others to give a defense for their views. I think that’s wrong. Jesus asked questions to people, yes, and we should follow Jesus’ example, yes, but in this case, I don’t believe it is the way to model Him. Instead, I believe it truly is best to, as Jesus told us, preach the gospel - proclaim the good news - be a herald for the King of Kings! Without shame. And when people ask us of our hope, our strangeness, our way of life - we can then follow St. Peter’s instructions - to give a reason for the hope we have! Just my 2 cents… ✌🏼
Trent Horn, I know there's no relation, but are you familiar with the "little horn" of Daniel 7? He has 10 distinct qualities which together can ONLY apply to the office of the pope. Scripture warned us of his advent from.the ashes of pagan Rome. History cannot be altered.
The reason Protestants do not pray to saints which have gone on into heaven is that King Saul called on Samuel who had died and Samuel said he did not want to be disturbed. So this was forbidden. Also, you do not seem to know for sure who is in heaven unless there is some giant rigamarole concerning canonization. Plus, according to you-- we do not know how long someone is in purgatory, in which case, those there need our prayers and cannot pray for us. So, how do you know if, say your mother is in heaven or purgatory or hell for that matter since no one is going to canonize them? Also, the church could be in gross error concerning who is a saint in heaven when they could be total charlatans who are in hell. Your tests for sainthood could be faulty. Also, if Jesus saves and washes all sin, all stain away which would mean all flaws included-- although purgatory is explained-- it does deny the immediate and total effects of Jesus's death and ressurection to literally have His blood wash us white as snow and cast our sins as far as east is to the west. The passage you use by Paul which speaks about going through fire-- the person and the works may not be about purgatory as the church describes it at all. It could be a near instantaneous thing which occurs rather than a long drawn out torture waiting to be released into heaven.
I believe I’m a sinner and that thanks to Gods grace and Jesus’s work on the cross that as long as I have faith in Him He has saved me from my sins. Is that the bad news Trent wants to save me from? What gospel could possibly be better than that? I would appreciate sincere answers. Thanks and may GOD bless everyone
Am i wrong to assume that you believed in faith alone? Do you believe that a person has no accountability for his bad deeds as long as he had faith because Jesus had paid the price of his present, past and future sins once and for all on the cross?

Treating Mary like she is the gnostic "goddess" Sophia should be explained in one of these videos. Not a troll statement btw. I would like it explained.
Rico Bonifacio Rico, When people in ancient times realized the acquisition of wisdom (sophia in Greek) was being instrumental in their lives, they did not know it was the Holy Spirit, whom they were naming "Sophia", giving it such female name and identifying as a "goddess". Christianity teaches the Holy Spirit is God and thus, is worshipped.
@@glennherron9499 Glenn, Thanks for the question. The Holy Spirit is one of the three persons in the Holy Trinity that is God. In the early history of the Church, the question arose about the nature and place of the Holy Spirit who spoke through the prophets, who was active in Jesus during his public life, who descended on the Apostles at Pentecost and who manifested himself through many marvelous gifts imparted to those who believed in the Lord Jesus and had the hands of the Apostles laid upon their heads. When theological reflection on Christian revelation began to develop in the third century and afterwards, there was some question as to the divinity and the personality of the Holy Spirit. In order to affirm both of these points of the Creed which states: “With the Father and the Son he (the Holy Spirit) is worshipped and glorified.” So, just as worship and glory are offered by Christians to the Father and the Son, so also are they with perfect right offered to the Holy Spirit. This means then that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son in divinity and majesty. It follows then that just as the Father and the Son are divine Persons, subsisting in the one divine substance, so also is the Holy Spirit. One of the clearest indications of this truth in the New Testament is the missionary formula at the conclusion of St. Matthew’s Gospel where the three Persons are mentioned and given the same level of dignity: Matthew 28:18-19 18. Jesus came up and spoke to them. He said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19. Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. That fact alone reveals the divinity of the Holy Spirit which requires His worship as God. We say in the Creed that we “worship” and “glorify” the Holy Spirit. Worship frequently means “adoration” of God which can be expressed in many different ways: through prayer, sacrifice, solitude, penance. The main idea in adoration is that man, the weak creature, recognizes his creaturehood and therefore his total dependence on almighty God. When we “glorify” God, we praise and give expression to his infinite perfections such as his goodness, power and love. Thus worship and glory are offered to the Holy Spirit in the same sense as they are offered to the Father and the Son. Thus a number of Catholic truths are expressed in the statement of the Creed. We are proclaiming that the Holy Spirit is truly God, since God alone can be worshipped and glorified by man. Likewise we are stating that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is the third Person in the Blessed Trinity who has been revealed to us in the Scriptures, especially by the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. He manifested himself in the life of Jesus; Jesus imparted him to his Apostles and to the Church; he has been operative in the church, sanctifying and encouraging, since Pentecost Sunday. May God bless your discernment.
@@glennherron9499 Glenn, Sorry but you are insisting upon a doctrine which isn't taught in Scripture, namely:"Sola Scriptura". Such notion, as you know, was invented by Martin Luther in 1517. Why use it? Just think! There's NO 'apostolic index' anywhere in Scripture. Where did you get it from? I'll let St. Paul tell you in: 1 TIMOTHY 3:15 15. but in case I should be delayed, I want you to know how people ought to behave in God's household -- that is, in THE CHURCH of the living God, PILLAR and SUPPORT of the TRUTH. The first official listing of all the books classified as "Divine Scriptures" or Word of God, begins with the words of the one authority capable of such important apostolic declaration at the end of the Council of Rome of 382AD: This is the original document content, from which all Bibles originate: ▪︎Decree of Damasus issued by Pope Damasus I at the Council of Rome (382 AD) IT IS LIKEWISE DECREED: Now, indeed, we must treat of the DIVINE SCRIPTURES what the universal Catholic Church accepts and what she must shun. The list of the OLD TESTAMENT begins... Glenn, it is by the authority of the Catholic Church founded by Christ that just like you believe in the Bible as Word of God as told to you and all protestants by the Catholic Church, the Holy Spirit is co-equal to the Father and the Son in the Holy Trinity One God. May God bless your discernment.
@@glennherron9499 Glenn, Once again I must correct your discernment. As you well know Glenn, The Lord IS God. Therefore, the Virgin Mary is the Mother of Jesus who is God as declared by the Holy Spirit through Elizabeth. For that reason the Virgin Mary is exalted as none other. ▪︎LUKE 1:46-49 46 And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48 for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth ALL GENERATION'S WILL CALL ME BLESSED; 49 for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. 50 And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation. I'd say the easiest path to take is to keep your personal relationship with your god ... personal ... and don't try to compel others to submit to your faith based beliefs. Most atheists support the idea of letting people choose to worship as that confirms the ability of an atheist to not worship or other conform to theistic expectations. Many theists feel the need to force people to submit to theistic behaviors ... school prayer, displaying the Ten Commandments, banning liquor sales or any business operation on a day supposedly set aside for a god.

They have eyes but they can not see you bowing before them and they have ears but they can not hear your prayers... They have a mouth but they can not speak to you. @@juliorivera870 In what way does that bible verse taught or mentioned sola scriptura? That idea has been misleading people from centuries. We need an authority that will tell us if our interpretation is correct and Godly. You need to look at the Catholic Church's catechism to clarify the scriptures. You might as well study the Church Fathers. Most of them lived a Christian life without the scriptures. In fact, Christians for the first 400 years live without the Bible. Understanding the Christian tradition is important. After the schism from 1054, there are only two denominations of Christianity. That is the Catholicism and Orthodoxy. However, both are similar in many ways. Why? Because the Church and its other traditions came first before the Bible and it was under the Church's authority that the Bible was canonized. Despite the split of the two denominations, they still preserved plenty of traditions from the Christian faith.
"A great defender of the Catholic faith" (?) Is that what the early church did? To defend a church system's faith? Is that what the Apostle Paul did? The early church had been exhorted many times to contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith is the saints common salvation in Christ Jesus alone; for He is the faith and He is the salvation. The commentator, by using that particular terminology within this video, paints another classic version of twist and shout: A scriptural twist, and an exultant shout from God's enemy.

Yes, defender of the faith, as what the early Christians did!!! As early as the onset of the 2nd century, there were Christian writings already defending the faith, for example, against those who don’t believe in the real presence of the body and blood of Christ! So, you are teaching about defending Roman Catholicism. I am a Protestant and Protestant apologetics is all about defending and explaining the Christian faith, i.e., the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's much more potent, robust and to the point. Defending a religion never would have occurred to me. To tell the truth, at 18, I was bored to death with the Roman Catholic Religion. Got saved and ever since then I have thanked God for the Protestant Revolution (Michael Voris' term, which I just love). Don't mean to offend. Just sharing my own two cents here.
" I am a Protestant and Protestant apologetics is all about defending and explaining the Christian faith, i.e., the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's much more potent, robust and to the point" "Defending a religion never would have occurred to me" You contradicted yourself.
Rolando Velasquez- the Church ( Catholic ) has a very simple message about Jesus Christ that we share as well. The church is also rich with Theology and history that’s very good to know about. The Protestant churches have deep rich theology as well. You might have a Evangelical gift brother👍.
Catholics lie about Peter being the rock the church is built on. Catholicism is made of lies just like every protestant denomination, so all you catholics need to repent and actually become true Christians and join the true church before you burn eternally for believing a liar pretending to be God on earth who you call pope. That is anathema itself. 2 Thessalonians 2, I suggest you all read it. Psalm 118:22 we find the prophecy of a stone which the builders rejected, then we find a Holy Spirit inspired writer stating this in Acts 4:11-12-11 “He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief corner stone. 12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” So that settles it. It was apostle Peter who said that as he was guided by the Holy Spirit. That proves apostle Peter DID NOT CLAIM to be "the rock" in Matthew 16:18. That proves Jesus Christ DID NOT make Peter as being the very rock foundation Jesus was going to build His church, because Jesus or Peter would be guilty of lying. Jesus is THE STONE STONE = ROCK, that's common sense. Salvation is IN the church, and Jesus IS the stone/rock foundation that Jesus Christ layed Himself, 1 Corinthians 3:11. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. So right there, catholicism is utterly destroyed, you cannot be saved by being in the catholic denomination just like you cannot be saved by doing a member of any protestant denomination or orthodox church denomination. You must be a member of the only church Jesus Christ died for, the one church His blood cleanses.
@@johnyang1420 could you actually present some arguments instead of telling me to buy something? When first century history show nothing, combine that with no scriptural support either, my case continues to stand firm. No one guy over the earthly churches, apostles made it clear that every location has its own leadership. The scriptures do warn about a man who calls himself God in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, that's literally speaking about your man made pope! Did you know that the Didache doesn't follow catholic doctrine on distinguishing between episcopate and presbyters? That's because scriptures proves they ARE THE SAME THING!!!! yet catholicism invents new to make their own pagan system. Peter didn't teach the catholic dogma of priestly confession and forgiveness. This one fact alone destroys catholic denomination completely! Acts 8:18-24, Peter condemned Simon of a mortal sin of greed, according to catholic dogma, Simon was obligated to confess to Peter or some other catholic bishop or priest but what did Peter teach Simon to do???? He taught Simon the same thing Christ taught Peter in Matthew 6:12, pray to God alone. Peter commanded Simon to repent and pray to God for his own forgiveness of A MORTAL SIN!!!! Peter, if he was a pope, he taught error and was not infallible!!! Hahaha haha, your papacy IS NOT FALLIBLE, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NOW??? just wise up and realize Peter WAS NOT CATHOLIC! Peter was a Christian, not a pagan catholic from Rome. He was a member of the Church of Christ, the real church, not your Roman paganism version that took centuries to develop.
@@johnyang1420 something else to think about, Peter preached mostly to Jewish folks, Paul did more of gentiles. So many of the gentiles, perhaps hundreds of thousands never even knew who Peter was. If Peter was the vicar of Christ then wouldn't all these numerous people would have needed to of known that? Of course! Why keep that important truth away from them? So there would have been numerous writings and acknowledgement of the vicar of Christ in first and second centuries to the ENTIRE WORLD. Yet in history, we find Nothing! Why nothing until centuries later? Because it never existed, catholics, once they came about long after the true church was already going, the catholics invent a papacy then go back in time to fabricate things as if it was so. The catholic denomination was supported by FORGED DOCUMENTS long ago, and even catholic scholars will tell you this was so. I challenge you to research it yourself. Catholics LIE, LIE, LIE
The easiest way to defend your faith is to show how it agrees with the teachings of Jesus, which are found in the Bible. Can Catholics do this? If they can, where in the Bible does it say or even imply that... 1. statues and relics can be worshiped? 2. the Father, Son, and holy spirit make up "One Incomprehensible"? 3. "we worship one God in trinity"? 4. purgatory is real? 5. Mary can be prayed to? 6. meat must not be eaten on Fridays and during Lent? 7. priests can be called 'Father'? 8. the Father, Son, and holy spirit are one in substance, essence, and nature? 9. Mary was immaculately conceived? 10. the Godhead is triune? 11. Peter was the first pope? 12. Mary can be worshiped? 13. unmarried priests are bound to celibacy? 14. the Rosary was used? 15. Mary is the mother of God? 16. the holy spirit is a person? 17. purgatory is real? 18. the human soul is immortal? Clearly, Catholics can't defend their teachings, which are unscriptural.
Protestants have been asking those questions for five hundred years. We've heard them all and answered them all. I have a question for you. Where, in the Holy Bible, does it say that everything that Our Lord Jesus said, did and taught has been written down and published in the Bible?
@@alhilford2345 Hold on, pal. You said Catholics have heard and answered the question on the list I compiled? If that's so, why didn't you answer at least one of them? So, if you can, answer this question. Where in the Bible does it say that the Father, Son, and holy spirit are one in substance, essence, and nature?
@MrKiaiand "...because you didn't like the answer." What question did I ask, but didn't like the answer? You're saying a lot to say nothing. You and other Catholics will say anything to keep from answering direct questions. So, if you are capable of answering a direct question, please answer this one: Where in the Bible does it say or even imply that statues and relics can be worshiped?
These are a lot of questions which have been answered many times over the course of history and if you'd like I can help out answer these to the best of my ability. But since it's a long list of questions, most of them worded out a bit unclearly, I want to know if it would be prudent for me to take the time to answer all of them (as you know, a lot of comments on UA-cam are just posted for the hell of it and not for wanting a real discussion), also, I wanna understand clearly what you are asking. So, given that these are pretty basic stuff you can Google yourself, would you rather do that or would you like me to try and shed some light on these topics through this comment section? Also, which question would you want to tackle first?
Jesus is a NON-OMNIPOTENT God: of course an omnipotent person doesn't NEED HELP to go into the wilderness (see Jesus after being baptized) (see "the Son is not able to do anything of Himself..."). Jesus is God because HE HAD BEEN the almighty God in a very distant past. He then got rid of his omnipotence to become like a normal man. This means that at a time He is DIFFERENT from the almighty God since He is like a normal man now, but He is NOT DISTINCT from God either, since He had been that almighty God. The almighty God thus only dwells in a very distant past ("the world has not known you"). However - due to his omnipotence - from that past God is able to reach to us now with his words and actions. Since NOBODY is here to speak those words and to take those actions, we say that the presence of God here corresponds to the presence of a spirit. He is the Spirit of God aka Holy Spirit ("God is a spirit"). Only a RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD is available, GOD IS NOT HERE. Only Jesus and the POWER of God (it's a thing) are here, they figuratively sit in heaven next to each other. For ex. the power of God was used for Mary's pregnancy.

so...defend your faith by dishonestly avoiding reality? cool, so basically don't fact check anything, and if something shows religious views to be wrong dismiss it. rather than accepting what the evidence literally shows. You know you're avoiding reality when you ask deflective questions rather than talk context, shift burden of substantiating your own position, and dismiss things you don't like because it calls you out. Being Catholic doesn't mean you're inherently right, or moral or such, it's not even synonymous with it. If your world view is correct you shouldn't be afraid about fact-checking it properly with evidence. The issue is the majority of the world recognizes this simple truth about reality and does fact-check, that's why most of us have move on from tribalistic believes built on nothing but affirmations of belief with no evidence. especially when the evidence calls out and shows religious world views to be wrong.
I've never seen someone misconstrue someone's position so radically and dishonestly. You should listen to more from Trent Horn if you actually believe that's what he's saying. It's sad that you don't recognize the irony in your criticism of "ignoring reality" when you are so wildly misrepresenting someone's statements and beliefs. Maybe you should call him on his radio program and have a dialogue. It might change your mind about him. I've never heard someone treat a guest more fairly than Trent Horn.
Or perhaps you could answer his two questions: What do you believe and why do you believe it? If you have this evidence that so easily disproves his views, why don't you put it forward?
@@radiorain5665 his arguement was built as the following. He deflects to state he will answer if they answer his question first. (shifting burden) he then asks them a question which they may honestly answer as I don't know, or if they're someone the question would be relevant to being a scientist or someone who's educated in the topic would be able to answer with demonsrable evidence to back up their position. he then goes with the chance that they state honestly that they don't know as the more common occurrence so he can dishonestly state they have no ability to ask him their question as a way to deflect from his own burden of proof with their question as well as his own. the best he can get with his own question is he believes what he does (in regards to his religion) on faith. faith being an affirmation of conviction without evidence. meaning he believes what he believes based on nothing but a desire to affirm a belief in it based on his cognitive bias. answering a question with I don't know is an honest answer and the correct answer when you don't know and have no evidence. the guy in the video has no answer for his own question as he has no evidence and that infers to the extent that he can't back up his religious claims as they're non-evident. in other words his "defense" of faith is to deflect from the burden of trying to defend it by trying to prevent people calling you out on it. if someone answers his question honestly and proves him wrong, he would most likely deflect from his burden of answering their question next by infering the same starting position of he will answering if they answer his next question and so on. this is a circular progression of an individual who can't have an honest discussion and must rely on empty pretense to avoid their burden of proof and the responsibility of substantiating their own position. 2 things: 1 - someone being unable to substantiate their position doesn't mean yours is then substantied, they are required to still substantiate their own position. 2 - if you make a claim and don't provide evidence of it, you have an empty position. meaning he has at best an empty position, no argument and no ability to defend his "faith" with evidence we don't need faith, we have trust in what's demonstrably evident. what's evident happens to be the case regardless of if we like it or not, it's not an opinion. belief in something is a weak position, having trust in something because it is demonstrably evident is different. it's dishonest to assert that peoples trust in what's demonstrably evident is a position of belief or faith because it's literally not. faith = affirmation of conviction without evidence. trust = knowing the reliability of something due to evidence of that something. the question of what I belief and why i belief it isn't a valuable or useful argument to prove his position, it's simply an empty deflection from the context of him needing to substantiate his own position. what i believe and why i believe it isn't relevant to his own position and his claims of belief, especially in regards to his religious views. He has literally no evidence for his faith or religious claims. zero. otherwise religion wouldn't require faith anymore, it would be able to prove it's position which it has continuously failed to do so. science has shown incredibly how empty religious claims are over the years through evidence showing religious claims to be based on nothing as reality doesn't match their claims. I also don't have to disprove his claim to invalidate it, his claim is literally invalid until he can substantiate it himself. your claim isn't validated because someone doesn't disprove it, you have to substantiate your own claim yourself. he can provide no evidence for them, which means they're unfounded. his question is simply deflecting his own burden of proof of his own position. he has no defence.

This is why there is no such thing as a Holy Spirit :
"HOLY" is derived for the divinely honored sun.
The father became the son and the son the father through all time, and of both alike the mother was but another form."
Most of Christianity teaches a Trinity doctrine that the trinity is 3 persons, the Father, Son and Spirit.
Revelation 22:1 Then the Messenger showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
Just One Throne.
Ancient religions had triple deities:
Wicca triple goddesses Maiden, Mother, Crone.

As a non Catholic Christian the thing that separates all other religions and Christianity is works .All other religions are works based .true Christianity says we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of god and are saved by the grace of our lord Jesus Christ.God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement through the shedding of his blood to be received by Faith .This is so non shall boast. After being saved we are filled with the holy spirit for the renewing of our minds and then we do good works in response to god's grace on the cross but I am not trying to earn anything and trust 100 percent in Jesus and the cross for salvation and what I do is out of love for god in response to his love and grace .End of it is finished !!!

Trent horn is such a great man he’s also such a nerd in a good funny way.
Why is it important to know that Jesus had two wills, does he still?
Not two wills, two natures, human and divine. His will was only God the Father’s will.
FAITH
is what made the Canaanites believe in their gods and sacrifice some of their babies to them.
Defend the faith according to whom.

Rico Bonifacio
Rico,
When people in ancient times realized the acquisition of wisdom (sophia in Greek) was being instrumental in their lives, they did not know it was the Holy Spirit, whom they were naming "Sophia", giving it such female name and identifying as a "goddess".
Christianity teaches the Holy Spirit is God and thus, is worshipped.
@@glennherron9499
Glenn,
Thanks for the question.
Matthew’s Gospel where the three Persons are mentioned and given the same level of dignity:
Matthew 28:18-19

Once again I must correct your discernment. This time regarding the Mother of God as clearly revealed by the Holy Spirit in:
▪︎LUKE 1:41-43
41 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and ELIZABETH WAS FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
42 and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
43 And why is this granted me, that THE MOTHER OF MY LORD should come to me?
As you well know Glenn, The Lord IS God. Therefore, the Virgin Mary is the Mother of Jesus who is God as declared by the Holy Spirit through Elizabeth.
For that reason the Virgin Mary is exalted as none other.
▪︎LUKE 1:46-49
46 And Mary said,
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48 for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden.
For behold, henceforth ALL GENERATION'S WILL CALL ME BLESSED;
49 for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.
I hope you include yourself in such generations.

"A great defender of the Catholic faith" (?)
Is that what the early church did?

Heresy is everywhere already and the early Church Fathers were defending the faith already.
If you don’t know that, then your Christian knowledege is limited and so truncated!

You contradicted yourself.
Catholicism=Christianity.
Nobody can be saved by rejecting Jesus. Leaving the Catholic Church is a rejection of the body of Christ (Luke 10:16)
Rolando Velasquez- the Church ( Catholic ) has a very simple message about Jesus Christ that we share as well. The church is also rich with Theology and history that’s very good to know about.
The Protestant churches have deep rich theology as well.
You might have a Evangelical gift brother👍.
How do your sacraments taste?
12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
So that settles it.
Jesus is THE STONE
STONE = ROCK, that's common sense.
Peter is the rock here. Read book Pope Peter by Heschmeyer. Refutes your every point. The papacy is true and we should all be Catholic! Check it out!

3. "we worship one God in trinity"?

@MrKiaiand "...because you didn't like the answer."
What question did I ask, but didn't like the answer?
@MrKiaiand You still haven't answered my question, so I will repeat it. What question did I ask, but did not like the answer?
What is your point?
@@johnyang1420 The point is that the trinity doctrine - which is essentially based on the disclosure of the gospels - is false because: contrary to the A logic and contrary to the B gospels. My theory on the contrary meets very well the requirement A and well the requirement B. In these difficult moments, my theory can represent a new positive asset for Christianity.

The Trinity theory is a CONVENTIONAL theory, INVENTED and then ISSUED by the conventions of Nicea and Costantinople. They simply misunderstood the gospels "baptize them in the name of the Father...". The apostles didn't believe that God is a Trinity they nowhere talk about the existence of a triune God, nowhere in the gospels it's stated that God is a Trinity. Indeed in heaven the SON DOES NOT SIT NEXT TO THE FATHER AND TO "THE LORD WHO GIVES LIFE". The gospels state that the Son sits ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE POWER.

so...defend your faith by dishonestly avoiding reality?
cool, so basically don't fact check anything, and if something shows religious views to be wrong dismiss it. rather than accepting what the evidence literally shows.
(shifting burden)
he then asks them a question which they may honestly answer as I don't know, or if they're someone the question would be relevant to being a scientist or someone who's educated in the topic would be able to answer with demonsrable evidence to back up their position.
he then goes with the chance that they state honestly that they don't know as the more common occurrence so he can dishonestly state they have no ability to ask him their question as a way to deflect from his own burden of proof with their question as well as his own.
the best he can get with his own question is he believes what he does (in regards to his religion) on faith. faith being an affirmation of conviction without evidence.
meaning he believes what he believes based on nothing but a desire to affirm a belief in it based on his cognitive bias.
answering a question with I don't know is an honest answer and the correct answer when you don't know and have no evidence.
the guy in the video has no answer for his own question as he has no evidence and that infers to the extent that he can't back up his religious claims as they're non-evident.
in other words his "defense" of faith is to deflect from the burden of trying to defend it by trying to prevent people calling you out on it.
if someone answers his question honestly and proves him wrong, he would most likely deflect from his burden of answering their question next by infering the same starting position of he will answering if they answer his next question and so on.
this is a circular progression of an individual who can't have an honest discussion and must rely on empty pretense to avoid their burden of proof and the responsibility of substantiating their own position.
2 things:
1 - someone being unable to substantiate their position doesn't mean yours is then substantied, they are required to still substantiate their own position.
2 - if you make a claim and don't provide evidence of it, you have an empty position.
meaning he has at best an empty position, no argument and no ability to defend his "faith"
with evidence we don't need faith, we have trust in what's demonstrably evident. what's evident happens to be the case regardless of if we like it or not, it's not an opinion.
belief in something is a weak position, having trust in something because it is demonstrably evident is different.
it's dishonest to assert that peoples trust in what's demonstrably evident is a position of belief or faith because it's literally not.
faith = affirmation of conviction without evidence.
trust = knowing the reliability of something due to evidence of that something.
the question of what I belief and why i belief it isn't a valuable or useful argument to prove his position, it's simply an empty deflection from the context of him needing to substantiate his own position.
what i believe and why i believe it isn't relevant to his own position and his claims of belief, especially in regards to his religious views.
