It didn’t change position. It changed orientation. It rotated 90 degrees so the jets now “point” at us. But black holes don’t point at things and pull them in. The gravity is just as strong in all directions. By everything we know about physical laws and the universe, it’s impossible, not merely unlikely, that this black hole will get significantly closer to Earth

I read the article on this a few days. A bit terrifying to be completely honest with you. But they say the younger lobes may be a problem. The only true worry are from gamma ray bursts. They will 100% completely burn off our atmosphere in totality.

If we could actually get some gear and maybe a person in there on a very long very strong tether, we might actually be able to understand so much more about physics and space. Time travel, light speed travel, teleportation and so much more awaits on the other side of those things. OR my favorite theory, black holes are doors to separate dimensions
I know you’re just theorizing, but “gear and a long tether” wouldn’t solve the problem of the person stretching out like spaghetti and dying, not to mention absolutely nothing could pull someone back from the black hole, it would either just pull the tether and whatever it was attached to into it or just rip it off. And even if we could somehow manage to find some way to survive, who’s to say there’s a way back or that we could communicate with whoever went through?

We actually witnessed things coming out of black holes, so this video saying that nothing comes out is wrong. Plus, scientists believe that if we can create something that moves faster than the speed of light, we can navigate around the black holes with ease and even get right up to it to observe things more thoroughly without any fear of being sucked in. We are already attempting to make something that goes faster than the speed of light so that'll be interesting to see once it's done.

Special and general relativity would like to have a word with you. Also we haven't witnessed things coming out of black holes. Hawking radiation is still a hypothesis, even though a likely one. "Scientists" dont believe what you said, because real scientists know that something faster than light would require infinite energy. Black holes are NO danger to us. In fact, the closest black holes are incredibly small. Their radius is about 50 km.

There are no actual photos of black holes. We don't even know if black holes exist, yet these videos act like all of this is fact.

Because of the distances and the fact it takes at least 600 million years for us to receive the information form the black to even know it is doing. I could well have collided with 6 other galaxy's verry unlikely but as a e.g and be moving in a completely different direction. No to mention the amount of space between us would make expand at the same time and would probably never rach us just because of that.
