13 day old gorillatwin @Burgers' Zoo

They're doing great! I spoke with one of the zookeepers. Both drink good. I noticed that the girl looks stronger than before. Mom can finally walk around 'normal' again. Before she had to use one hand to support them, but now they cling to her very well, so she can walk (and even run). A 1/2 sister borrowed one of the babies today (and also yesterday the keeper told me). Unfortunately I didn't have my camera ready at that time and it only lasted 2 minutes. The younger sister (almost 4) is very interested too, also one of the other older females. I had a great time again looking at them and the family (for over 7 hours).

Well, you answered my question from another video about how Mom sleeps with 2 babies on her...lol. I guess the best answer is - the best way and any way she can...lol! You do a great job with your videos. Thank you for sharing them!

I believe from all that I have read on the species, they are literally identical to us humans in terms of quantity, time, etc..ONLY, since Gorillas are obviously nakes 24/7, their infants may actually drink more since they are always accessed and the mother often keeps the infants in the breast area. They begin teething earlier, so as you see one infant chewing, he's using his mothers nipple as a means to help those sore gums. But all around, they are very similar to us humans
