- Kayla is a family film that makes you feel good. It focuses on a young boy who still cannot accept his father’s eight-year-old disappearance and apparent death. He cries out for solace, while keeping his mother and well-meaning stepfather at a stony-faced distance. Then, one day, in the snowy wilderness, he encounters a wolf that looks exactly like the dog that led his father’s sled team. Despite the hostility of the townspeople, who fear the wolf will devour more of their livestock, the boy bonds with this dog, Kayla, who teaches him about love, loyalty, and self-sacrifice. Based Elizabeth van Steenwyk's novel "Three Dog Winter."

I just lost my best friend Rocki (mini pincher Pomeranian)and my world has been turned upside down..I miss him so much..I had him for the last 12 years and he brought so much joy .It is so painful that I cry everyday.
🙏 I am sorry for your lose. I lose Andy, my Mini Pincher, on Cinco de Mayo, last year. He would have been 17 years old that June. I still miss him, but he is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge, with Zesus, my Rocwieler, Sebastian, and Princess, my poodles. I had each a long time and I still miss them. I still shed tears, but Star, my Chihuahua, that I adopted helps me. She is a sweet companion. God bless you and maybe you could adopt another friend and give them a loving home. There are too many throw away animals that need a loving home. They ask so little and give so much love💓 in return. Merry Christmas, Animal Friend, and God bless you!🙏🌟🌹🌹🌹

Such an amazing video love the part where the boy was concerned about Kala but took care of the girl first wolf's are very smart and dangerous but if you don't bother them alot of times they want bother you just Wow....... my second time watching this movie the girl also very smart could watch it over and over

Absolutely love this movie Alaskan malamutes are one of my favorite breeds of dogs.
First this was an excellent movie. Realizing I am well part of the older generation, almost all kids today never have the opportunity to experience any life as this. Raised on a farm, dependent on the crops and livestock for a lively hood instilled a deeper set of values than all the city kids I knew. I did raise my kids with the same values I was raised with, each summer till they were into their mid teens they would stay a couple of months with my parents and uncles who had farms. Seeing my kids grow up they were very different than most of those of their classmates.
As for the other 2 dogs not getting their picture in the photo - I believe you missed the punch line. It was "Kayla" who the story was about. It seems you miss that small note. The theme centered around the fact this husky was his dad's dog. If you missed this punch line I suggest you watch the movie once again.
I am just learning the wonderful life of "UA-cam". When one lives on a fixed budget, cable, dish and DSL are very expensive. I took the cheaper for a special 2 year price and UA-cam has opened a new world for me. I may never go back to cable TV.
Now I need to research Questar Entertainment to learn more.
Good movies o. U-tube and good spiritual videos, and real news. I don't watch TV, don't have Cable. The bonus is that I can message this movie and other good videos to my friends and family. I am not on social media either. I live a simple life with my furry and feathered🐓🐓 friends. 🤗🕊️

Being X military I get a small discount and I have a smart TV 4K Samsung and having the net gives me about 60 free channels. I have my PC hooked to my TV and use the screen for my computer to work all my internet functions. I also have the net hooked in with the TV to work the FREE channels from Samsung. I get game shows and all the national news. UA-cam affords movies and the ability to purchase many that I like or I am able to just rent if I desire. If you would like to view a classic from the mid 50's a time when I was growing up type in: Good Morning Miss Dove UA-cam. This has some of the biggest name actors and actress of the silver screen. I have a wide range of interest and other than I guess the 25 to 30 movie purchases at reduced rates I seem well fixed. Tell me things you might be interested in and I will do some of the research for you. UA-cam keeps your history so you might find something start watching say 5 minutes of and go to something else. It will be in your history for quick pick up at a later time. You are able to make a queue to add movies or anything to for several hours viewing with nothing to do. Please if you need help send me a notification.
This movie reminds me of my childhood, I grew up in rural New Hampshire and this was the way I lived. But it's sad to see today's society where children are growing up to be spoiled rotten in this day of age of ever advancing technology.

Dogs are amazing creatures , every one should have a friend, yes friend not own a Dog, they are loyal, funny, loving, a truly good friend in bad times as well as the good, they know how to cheer ya up when your down, they love you unconditionaly. NEVER treat this friend badly, he"s in it for life . NOW how many friends would put up with you that long? Some even talk. Give he or she the same respect they will love you forever and thats the truth.
patricia cluts very well put! Laugh was getting very hard and a week before Thanksgiving 6 years ago a young stray black dog that had been beaten with a chain showed up and adopted me. Change my life brought happiness, security, and sometimes she it's smarter than me. My help is challenging and when I try to push it too far she will intervene to get me to go inside and rest. When I thought there would be no more happiness, being adopted by a dog who is friend, family, and truly a blessing from God! Yep she never steals, are betrays my love.
My goal in life is simple.
Be the person my dog thinks I am.

Cats do the same. Even rabbits. I receive unconditional love and friendship from all my pets. When I'm gone and come home they run to the door to greet me. When I'm sad or even sick they come to me and stay with me to comfort me. What ever kind of pet you have, if they love you it's truly a blessing.

Reminds me of the movie Togo,
I have watched Togo, Iron will, 8 below and a few others at least 10 times each and never get tired of these type of wholesome outdoor movies. Reminds me of my childhood in Canada playing games on the ice; making igloos out of the snow, and tunnels in the snow banks. But, most of all having our Collie skippy pulling us around in our homemade cart. Since then I have always had Shelties and just loved them all. My Sheltie is watching this show with me right now...ears perking up when he hears the dogs on my IPad movie of Kayla. Got to love your best friends. 💕 I will watch this one over and over again too!

Good movie, I dont have a smart tv or streaming and I have troubles looking at the glare of my phone. I watched this in three segments off my phone. I love dog's and my last fur doggie passed a lot over a year ago and I miss her every day since she passed. I loved this movie💞🥰🐾🐕🐾

Its' an adjustment for young Sam to come back in the winter from boarding school to live in the country with his mom and new husband. Kayla, the wolf dog is the star as the story surrounds him.
Guys, have you ever watched Hatchiko Movie? ....Akita Inu.... I really can't stop crying..... My Employer's have the same dog, and I am the one whose taking good care of him. And it's 7yrs now. I love him so much. Really can't imagine not being with him once I go home to Philippines.

I was a military brat, we were stationed at Ladd AFB. My father was a USAF Pilot! He went to the Iditarod and use to have old movies, My Dad had 6 Samoyeds that he raced, He place 3rd in 56' But he died on a mission over the Hump in India ! and we took to Dallas Tx, he lived till I was 16. Before he died in house in the kitchen, the vet said his heart just gave out! He would pull me on a cart my grandfather built for me. He was the happiest dog that ever owned me!

Its setting was 1920, when kids were busy playing hockey and piano, carving woods, composing poems and songs, building sleds and training dogs for a race..unlike nowadays that kids are busy with their gadgets, social media, playing Mobile Legends and busy thinking about their depression and committing suicide..

Really enjoyed this. Kayla reminded me so much of my Malamute, Kali. He was the smartest dog ever.
we had one named Sgt Preston, was a dream with kids, adults, and the world. BUT would NOT stay home. He would roam where ever there were kids, and chew thru the fence to go play. He ate 3 fences of wood until we got a chain link. Then we moved to the high country, and he was free to go play until 13 yrs. He was a Malamute like Kayla, and a good friend to ALL
