Coyote The Gamer Hey dude the reason its running at half the speed because of DOUBLE DATA RATE or DDR. So you take the memory value in cpu-z and multiply it by 2..and you get the correct speed..
K1ritoKun no it should not I have ran it at 3.3 for 8 months now. for 24/7 and it is perfectly fine. it will decrease it's life but not that much. like from lasting 10 years at stock speed. On 3.0 it's like 8 years really not much. I don't think you will keep the same pc for 10 years 😂😂. so go ahead it should be fine. just follow my video and you should be good.
C1E Support=Disabled, Max CPUID=Disabled, CPU TM Function=Disabled, Intel Virtualisation Tech and Execute Disable Bit do not impact overclocking. The first is requered only if you run virtual machines if you don't nothing in the CPU is doing something different if you turn it on or of. The second is reccomended to leave enabled because it's just a hardware feature that prevents to code to run in assigned ram segments (protecting from malicious software) If your overclock is faulty because your also overtaxed your ram and writes at wrong addresses occur this will prevent the writes and make your overclock test run fail thats why ppl claim it has impact but if something goes wrong in your overclock and it causes you should not mask the problem as if it is not there. See it as running with bad ram which is non ECC but because the problem is on a high address it only locks up your computer once a day, vs running ecc and show the fault always. Leave execute disable bit on if you want to be sure of a stable overclock.
@@throu8nx332 apparently you did :-). I don't mind if not many read my comments. In this case i hope maybe 1 or 2 will read it who like me try overclocking till death of components, which is something i am only willing to do with old components and not with my main gaming rig. So thats why i still wrote this comment here. Although when you watch newer videos about overclocking you also see a lot of bullshit. In this case the most stupid part was he advised to disable the "Execute Disable Bit" which can result in a higher overclock result, because you tell the computer not to freeze when corrupt memory is detected. Which is cheating because yes you may get your benchmark finished but just because the benchmark program and the OS where not able to see that something already broke.

need more voltage for cpu, 1.2 v is stock my friend, ramp up cpu v core to 1.34 and then try overclocking to 3.4 ghz and even furthurer :) edit: use prime95 to check if your overclock it is stable, if you run prime95 for about 4-5 hours witought blue screen you can call your system stable ;)
Moira O'Deorain then it would be there, I watched this video because I have a spare q6600 but my mono didn't support it and was trying to see if it is worth it to buy a new mobo
Tbh I dislike the video because of the intro song
Meor thanks for commenting I want to ask we don't you like the intro song

IaMaWeSoMe7478 OK thanks a lot for the help.
if i clock to 3ghz will damage my cpu?

What if i want to overclock in 2.7ghz? Should i place 3 in CPU RATIO SETTING?

Moira O'Deorain probably a motherboard that doesn't support overclocking
Wessel van leeuwen it has a overclocking profile
