Recording My Home Built Six String Pedal Steel Guitar

I recorded a bit on my new little 6 string pedal steel praise team guitar tonight! I hope you like it. It is a simple pull/release guitar built with hardware store parts.

Love the high upper frets...awesome sound! Are using an amp or the computer?

An amplifier. Peavey Bandit 65 with Scorpion speaker

are you using a line level input to the sound card directly from the amp or are you using a microphone in front of the amp?

Neither. Amp is on the floor and as I am playing live with my previous tracks playing in my headphones the built in computer microphone is picking up and recording the amp from around six feet away. As I am recording the steel guitar it is not coming through my headphones but I can steel hear it in spite of my headphones. That way I am not getting the steel guitar latency that would be in my headphones. I am 60 percent deaf and only have hearing in one ear
