  • This is a LONG overdue video that I truly wish I had access to earlier in my undergrad - a comprehensive list of some of the easiest/most interesting/"birdy-est" courses at UofT. I interviewed a variety of students on campus, called several friends of mine, and went through my own academic history to cover as many bases as I could.
I thought it'd be pretty helpful to have a large bank of classes for you to pick and choose the best ones for yourself ✍️ Best of luck everyone :)

This campus wide knowledge on bird courses is what causes bird courses to become extinct. Profs hear this and don’t like it, so they grade harder, assign more, and cover more content. My prof in what I hoped was gonna be a bird course said “Yeah, people think this is a bird course, but I think we’ve changed that,” and the course was hell, and couldn’t drop.

can't really argue against that! It's tough to mediate but as a student I'm just hoping to catch the easy courses before they're gone - also an important point to make sure your sources for easy courses aren't outdated

Thanks for the video. Im coming to UofT next September as a CS student, and I was thinking of starting to plan my courses. If you have any recommendations for upcoming CS students, please make a video about it.

Amazing video! I'm currently a high school student who may potentially come to UTSG for CS this upcoming fall. I was wondering what the co-op/internship opportunities are like here (and how most people are able to get them) since I know there isn't really a concrete co-op program apart from ASIP which is still quite new. How were you able to find your internships, and what advice do you have for getting them? Also, between UTSG CS and the University of Waterloo Computer Engineering, which program would you suggest taking (try to be unbiased as possible lol) for the best career prospects in SWE/ml & ai? Thanks!
