The Complete Guide to UofT EASY BIRD COURSES | Student Interviews & more
This is a LONG overdue video that I truly wish I had access to earlier in my undergrad - a comprehensive list of some of the easiest/most interesting/"birdy-est" courses at UofT. I interviewed a variety of students on campus, called several friends of mine, and went through my own academic history to cover as many bases as I could.
I thought it'd be pretty helpful to have a large bank of classes for you to pick and choose the best ones for yourself ✍️ Best of luck everyone :)

“Do You Regret Choosing Your Major?” | UofT Student Interviews
Переглядів 10 тис.10 місяців тому
As a university/college student, the most important decision to make is choosing the major that defines your studies and sets up your future. I’ve always wondered what that thought process looked like for others, so I decided to head onto campus and simply ask. Why do students choose their majors? Do they regret their decisions years down the line? What would they have done differently? Hope yo...

Asking UofT Business Students about Rotman Culture | UofT Student Interviews
I remember going to a final exam and finished thinking I was in the wrong class/exam.
how did u meet ur friend group on exchange? at orientation?
super helpful video! thanks for making it!
As an incoming cs student, this video was super helpful! Tysm 😊
U of T Missisauga?
hi Jasper!! ^_^ i was wondering if you ever met someone who majors in anthropology? If you did, did they describe what the courses were like and so?
Econ: Political Economy of Media (forgot the course code) was also both super easy and interesting :D
ECO334H1 - The Political Economy of Media :)
Amazing video! I'm currently a high school student who may potentially come to UTSG for CS this upcoming fall. I was wondering what the co-op/internship opportunities are like here (and how most people are able to get them) since I know there isn't really a concrete co-op program apart from ASIP which is still quite new. How were you able to find your internships, and what advice do you have for getting them? Also, between UTSG CS and the University of Waterloo Computer Engineering, which program would you suggest taking (try to be unbiased as possible lol) for the best career prospects in SWE/ml & ai? Thanks!
Im in the same boat! Would love to hear the answer to this as well :)
ur video is sooooo helpful!!!
You always come out with the most helpful videos 🙏
:)
lmfao the facetime to irl, great vid as always
hahah glad someone caught that moment
such a helpful video 🤩
Wow I wished I had this in my undergrad!
This campus wide knowledge on bird courses is what causes bird courses to become extinct. Profs hear this and don’t like it, so they grade harder, assign more, and cover more content. My prof in what I hoped was gonna be a bird course said “Yeah, people think this is a bird course, but I think we’ve changed that,” and the course was hell, and couldn’t drop.
can't really argue against that! It's tough to mediate but as a student I'm just hoping to catch the easy courses before they're gone - also an important point to make sure your sources for easy courses aren't outdated
ENV100 is also insanely bird.
this is so helpful!!
why are you trying to learn about birds I thought your major was computer science
ofc this is from a Waterloo student
What about MAT223?
can't say it's a bird... but as a stem major I actually thoroughly enjoyed it :)
Thanks for the video. Im coming to UofT next September as a CS student, and I was thinking of starting to plan my courses. If you have any recommendations for upcoming CS students, please make a video about it.
Excited for you! Hope you have a blast
HAHAH 9:52 too cute

Banger! I hope to go next year! Thanks for the insights dude
Are all students Chinese?
@jmai, at time 9:23, you mention "always choose RES when you can" Then the student on the left says, it is way cheaper (9:25). I am sure lot of viewers would like to know what is RES? Thanks
Res is just a shortform for on-campus student residence!
I will be definitely hired at this office soon
What's the @ of the girl at 6:59?
Just for personal reference 😍

It’s worth visiting campus fr
2am mcd’s runs were genuinely such a big part of uni!!
HAH
this video seriously makes me want to transfer to UofT🤭
Excellent video as always. Big tip. Schedule one day during the week when you have no classes. Last semester, it was on Fridays. This, on Mondays, which is preferable. For others, it may be mid week. On Mondays, feels like a long weekend, every weekend. Of course, you lose the benefit of Mondays off on a real long wee, such as Thanksgiving 😮
A really great tip! Pinning this 📌
thanks@@jmai
It’s crazy to see the amount of work you put into these videos , 20m+ uploads multiple times per month is insane
Appreciate it bro, right back at you with the insane work ethic
I won’t lie. UofT doesn’t really have actual bird courses in the sense that they’re free. A 4.0 is never easy The so called bird courses just happen to be low workload that you can ignore for a month and not fall behind.
Well said and I completely agree!
please more 10 min vids, also would you have chosen uw cs instead of utsg cs instead? I'm debating between the two
Definitely just personal preference! I'd say uw has a higher emphasis on the co-op program and uoft has a higher emphasis on classes + student experience. Both are great options (but UofT was definitely more for me)
We love volleyball intramurals
Thanks captain
This title is clickbait... Waterloo is #1
HAH been waiting for this comment 😎 (no it's not)
