I personally really enjoyed crisis on infinite earths, was the story amazing? no, it had flaws and could have been done better. However, I think the overall story was fine and the fan service for me was so good that it doesn't bother me as much. I think it was better than a few of the other crossovers you had ranked above it, but I think it just depends on what you expected and wanted from the crossover
I feel the cameos largely did play a part and added to the story but feel it suffered from the same issue as the DCEU in that there was too much it needed to cover to get the story in the right place that it seems rushed and they really didn't get to build on the story points fully. Either WB should have given them a bit more money to allow each episode to be extended to 90mins (giving 30mins for the aftershow) while also taking one the of Black Lightning episodes seeing as BL along with Supergirl is perhaps the show that it has the biggest impact on which would have given them an extra 3.5 hours to play with (or accounting for ads about 2 hours 20) and really let them do the story well or better still have every show give up 2 episodes (including BL)

Grey’s death was more emotional because no one expected a death like that in a crossover. The scene was more relatable as-well cause the bond was a father and son so people would take that to heart more than Oliver’s death. Oliver did have a great and emotional payoff to his character though
I completely agree with @Antonio Darcy about this. Tom cavagnah has always been one of the greatest part of the arrowverse. I am a big fan of the council of wells.
Sean, I don’t understand your complaint about “fake deaths” in Crisis on Infinite Earths, because Infinity War did the exact same thing, and you had no problem with it at all. In fact, Infinity War was your favorite superhero film of the decade. I don’t understand why you have an issue with one and not the other.
I don't understand his complaint either in the way he frames that, but allow me to play Devil's Advocate... As much as I love both Infinity War and Crisis on Infinite Earths the deaths handled at the end of the movie came after a strong, steady, Valliant, and escalating conflict that ended with a shot of the one who committed all the murders satisfied with an arc we saw in front of us. The crossover didn't have that, and we also never got the motivation behind it. Plus a lot of those deaths ended up nameless and unseen, whereas all of the important characters who died that we got to see died right in front of us in Infinity War. The emotional weight was there the entire time. It wasn't empty as in pointless, it was empty as in not fully framed. It really only has an impact as large as it needs to be when you consider the stakes on paper.

I think the one risk of doing that is pissing people off whenever Batwoman is mentioned. In both directions. Better to play it safer and for seminal events like this.

I was really hoping infinite earths in its writing and execution would feel more like earth x did. In that it does feel like it is one really long movie. (or even two movies) and would act as the arrowverse infinity war/endgame. instead just like elseworlds and invasion it feels very episodic, the specific episode of the part is when those characters are focused on ( supergirl and her cast is the focus of part 1, batwoman was the focus of part 2. Parts 3-5 managed a little better though) instead of having several central characters to focus on the entire crossover (Barry and Oliver both got cheated and deserved way more screentime) it may literally be the biggest crossover event of all time on tv or film but it just feels so small. We definitely at the very least deserved every character who was brought in to be in that final anti monitor battle after the universe was reset (KC Superman, Tom Welling, Kevin Conroy, Black Lightning, Vibe, Killer Frost, etc.) and it should have took place in that space place where oliver and the monitor met in elseworlds, that looked good enough and would feel more like an epic final battle than a fucking construction site. Basically that would make part 4's final battle the equivalent of the titan fight in IW and would make the final battle the equivalent of the final battle in endgame. I dont care if they werent trying to make a endgame, i just personally really want a DC endgame, because we all know the movies arent doing that anytime soon.
I agree whole heartedly. I was also stoked to see all of the previous legends who were still alive return, Wally too. Also the news paper never shut up about the forces of shadow demons being lead by Eobard fighting a force comprised of tons of heroes lead by Barry in what was sure to be a climactic showdown which we will never bare witness to. The lack of making good on that promise kills me.
Crisis on Infinite Earths had it's good fan service moments but the story was too flawed and I'm the type of person that likes seeing almost every single hero in the crossovers and give (almost) everyone a good part to play and was very disappointed that they put Wild Dog in Crisis and not Black Canary (Laurel). And I wish the shows had been given bigger budgets and at least 90min. - 2 hour runtimes per each episode so that each episode could've taken the time to really flesh out the story. The CW or any other broadcast networks just aren't the platforms where you're going to be able to tell these types of huge stories well. If these shows had been on a streaming service like Netflix they would've had a better chance at being better shows overall and have bigger budgets to really polish the CGI and have bigger runtimes so they could take the time to tell the story better and not falling under the pressure of a 40-45min runtime.

I think the reason why I still prefer Crisis on Earth X over Crisis on Infinite Earths, is because it felt more like a movie. From the opening scene to the final scene. Crisis was very episodic even Part 4 and 5 have very distinctive tones from the other ones. The Cameos were great, but I think the writers focused more on that, than actually having a well constructed narrative. I personally didn't like how Oliver's first death was handled and the way he became Spectre. And I never really felt any high stakes, I knew the producers dont have the balls to kill any main characters with the exception of Oliver and only because it was the last season of Arrow. They had many ideas but maybe because of it, it was executed poorly. I'm more interested in having smaller crossovers in the future, like some of the Legends in an episode of Supergirl, or Thunder helping Batwoman, or Ralph joining the Legends for one mission.
My favorite crossover was crisis on infinite earths only because of seeing my boy Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy in live action which was really awesome

In my opinion, Crisis on Infinite Earths was a good crossover event. I just think people are comparing it a bit too much to Avengers Infinity War and Endgame when they don't have the time and the budget. The cameos only ruined Part 2 a bit. And I think it's definitely better than Invasion & World's Finest.

Not comparing to infinity war, but it spent so much time on making the cameo happen it forgot to work on the story, I at least expect the story to be understandable but never happened, and the past crossover at least have coherent stories
My ranking of the Crossover from Best to Worst are: 1) Crisis on Infinite Earths (Storytelling can be okay at times, but the cameos from other characters like Tom’s Clark Kent to Lucifer to Kevin’s Batman was marvelous to watch. Loved how it unites all the Earths into 1, and how it sets up the future of the Arrowverse after Green Arrow’s sacrifice) 2) Crisis on Earth X (Best storytelling of them all, loved them fighting evil doppelgängers of Supergirl and Green Arrow who lead Nazis from another Earth. Loved the visuals, and the stakes and emotions were high!) 3) The Flash v Arrow (The first of them all, loved seeing them work together for the first time, felt very cinematic) 4) Elseworlds (Loved the story, loved the comedic banter between The Flash & Green Arrow, loved it was a smaller crossover than others, and I loved the Crisis setup) 5) Invasion (Loved the first Mega Crossover, loved the story, loved the team ups, how they found out with Flashpoint, and loved how it gets us hyped for more mega crossovers to come) 6) World’s Finest (Loved seeing The Flash and Supergirl together, gives us potential for more scenes between the 2. Villains were okay) 7) Heroes Join Forces (Loved seeing Flash and Green Arrow work together, I liked Vandal Savage, but I disliked Hawkman & Hawkgirl, and the Felicity/William subplot was unnecessary to the crossover) 8) Duet (Loved the musical piece, the story was meh)
One of my favorite mini crossover episodes is the king shark episode of Flash with Diggle & Lyla. Just seeing how Diggle fits in so perfectly with that cast was awesome.
I was so happy with the cameos and appearances and overall I didn’t need plot for crisis that much. Just the fun of it was enough of it for me even though I usually love story more. One thing I’d change is putting reverse flash in place of the whole bear fight after the universes merge. Could have included reverse flash and then had him join and keep his word
There is a theory that leaving Reverse Flash out wasn't a case of retconning what was setup in season 1 but rather the end of Flash will be the end foretold in the original version of the paper. That story wasn't brought forward as was applied, it was just superseded and now its sorted the original one will still happen which will involve reverse flash

(The first big crossover that is very inconsistentally written) 4: Crisis on Infinite Earths (The epic, Endgame event of the Arrowverse) 3: Crisis on Earth X (It’s heroes fighting Multiversal Nazis, no further explanation) 2: Armageddon (Part 2 is my favorite TV episode of all time!) 1: Elseworlds (I loved seeing all of the unique scenarios, What If…? should’ve been this)

I’m pretty disappointed with crisis on infinite earth because it feels the size of this event is even smaller than previous crossover like invasion, crisis on earth x or elseworld. The cast in previous crossover is so much bigger, the action seems better, the plot is so much fun. Although there are lots of cameo, there are many supporting characters become sidelined and don’t participate much.
I have to disagree with you on the duet episode of The Flash. Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist have incredible chemistry and I love the cheesy songs! I'm not a big musical fan but Ive rewatched that episode of The Flash countless times. Keep up the great work Sean, love your videos.
Did anyone else just feel like the studio put people in costumes on random locations (warehouse, rooftops, parking lot) and relied on cramming characters together? I mean you had pretty much all of the justice league in this....and it felt like "Ehhh"
I pretty much agree with your rankings, although I’d put Crisis on Infinite Earths dead last. This years crossover was complete garbage. I watch a lot of Flash, and have to forgive the writers for nonsensical storytelling all the time, but the story this year was so dumb, it’s impossible to look past it. I was actually praying that they’d do a straightforward simple story because I know how dumb CW writers are when they try to craft something clever. What we are left with is a convoluted mess of a story.
How is worlds finest higher than crisis on infinite earths. I admit the crisis was a little disappointing but it deserves probably top 4 at least and without a doubt it should be higher than worlds finest
Worlds Finest was a single small episode, and it met the bar that you would expect on something like that. Crisis on Infinite Earth, being 5 episodes, the idea behind it, the precedent set by other crossovers, had a higher bar to meet, and it failed miserably at doing that.
1. Crisis on Earth X - best storyline and character moments and action 2. Elseworlds - CW DC Trinity focus , fun body swap developed Oliver and Barry characters 3. Crisis on Infinite Earths - grand event built up , fun to great cameos and connections , Oliver's last stand, creating the "Arrowverse" (read the comic after watching it , was fine but they adapted the story beats pretty much (minus use of villains and other heroes) though Anti-Monitor looked cooler in his 1st form with the eyes, then his second was dumb lol ) 4. Invasion - Dc CW Civil War , 100th ep of Arrow , Heroes vs Aliens , first team up with Supergirl 5. The Scientist, Three Ghosts - not sure if this counts but it was Barry's first appearance and it furthered the Blood storyline and revealed Slade's involvement at long last. 6. Flash vs Arrow, Brave and Bold - first official crossover 7. Armageddon (i dont really count this as a proper crossover since it' focus was Flash with guest stars) was mixed but enjoyed RF being villain again since hes my favorite and enjoyed the RFlashpoint and Damien's invovlement but jipped no battle with Flash and RF 8. Heroes Unite - i actually enjoy Vandal Savage in this series least his ost, plus the star city destruction and reversal was shocking and great

Ok so here's my ranking for all the crossovers. 8 - Heros join forces - Felicity and Vandal Savage completely ruin this. 7 - Duet - Not really interested in musicals honestly, all I can say about this one. 6 - World's finest - Only reason this is lower than F vs A is because I prefer Arrow to Supergirl 5 - Flash vs Arrow - This one literally started the annual crossovers, but it is also very small, can't put it any higher or lower. 4 - Invasion! - Although I love the 4 biggest crossovers, this is my least favourite as each episode feels too different, what with the part 1 being heros vs heros, part 2 being rewritten reality, and part 3 being time travel. 3 - Elseworlds - If we didn't have this, the arrowverse wouldn't be made into what it is now. And for that I have to put this one high up. 2 - Crisis on Earth X - Don't know why but I love this so much. Such an amazing crossover, plus by favourite team up shot in part 4. 1 - Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 2 may kinda suck, part 4 may be questionable. But after 8 years of build up and crossover events, this completely was everything I could have asked for and I wouldn't change a thing (Except maybe increasing the budget) Ranking of some bonus smaller crossovers 5 Flash 4,05 No, no, no, no, no, no. Just no. 4 Flash 1,18 It was cool seeing Ray and Felicity nerd out with Cisco. Other than that though it felt pretty average. 3 Arrow 2,19 (I think), Seeing Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes as Cisco and Caitlin for the first time was a great teaser for what's to come on the flash. 2. Legends 2,01 - The introduction of the JSA and Nate Heywood was amazing, and seeing Oliver Queen is always a bonus. 1 Arrow 2,08 - If elseworlds and flash Vs arrow have us the arrowverse we have now, this one gave us the arrowverse. Period.

see, the reason Crisis was my fav crossover is cus of its story. they gave Oliver his well deserved ending, the Multiverse was recreated, and they expanded it even more. now we have all the CW heroes on Earth Prime, while Titans and Doom Patrol are on another Earth. GL is on an alt Earth, and basically all the cameos are on Alt Earths.
As an adaptation of the original comic, the fact that there are so many cameos in the first and larger half of Crisis was the entire point. You further your main characters by showing them with other characters that simultaneously play on the scale of the event and demonstrate the true possibility of a Multiverse. If anything, the weaknesses of the first half were when they stopped doing that to regurgitate old drama from episodes of Supergirl or Legends.

Ok but Legends of Tomorrow is an amazing show because it completely stopped taking itself seriously, breaking the fourth wall here and there, and constantly clowning on the other shows and the crossovers. It took a bonkers turn, quite much like Thor: Ragnarok did from the past movies, and embraced the weird, embracing the fact that its a time-traveling show and all the possibilities of what they could do. I stopped watching the Flash and Arrow a while back because they continued to take themselves too seriously, as well as constantly being the same stuff over and over again going nowhere. However, Legends of Tomorrow continues to change, adapting to new storylines that never feel the same, with each season being a new storyline that has the same basis, but completely different. They aren't even afraid to cycle out fan-favorite characters for new ones because they want things to feel fresh, not redundant, therefore resulting in a show where you don't actually know if someone can go out because anything can happen. In other words, it's not afraid to kill off or retire characters, like many other shows are. Overall, it's become my favorite show in the Arrowverse right now. Also, it is one of the most diverse CW shows, in ethnicity, gender, and sexuality, which I think is really important right now. Also, BEEBO
Crisis was such a letdown. There I said it. Action/fighting was lame. I mean come on, Ryan Choi had nothing to fight with and he beat the Dark Army? No. The entire event seemed to shove Batwoman and all of Supergirls characters on us.

I think the one risk of doing that is pissing people off whenever Batwoman is mentioned. In both directions. Better to play it safer and for seminal events like this.

I was really hoping infinite earths in its writing and execution would feel more like earth x did.
In that it does feel like it is one really long movie.
(or even two movies)
and would act as the arrowverse infinity war/endgame.
instead just like elseworlds and invasion it feels very episodic, the specific episode of the part is when those characters are focused on ( supergirl and her cast is the focus of part 1, batwoman was the focus of part 2. Parts 3-5 managed a little better though) instead of having several central characters to focus on the entire crossover (Barry and Oliver both got cheated and deserved way more screentime)
it may literally be the biggest crossover event of all time on tv or film but it just feels so small.
We definitely at the very least deserved every character who was brought in to be in that final anti monitor battle after the universe was reset
(KC Superman, Tom Welling, Kevin Conroy, Black Lightning, Vibe, Killer Frost, etc.) and it should have took place in that space place where oliver and the monitor met in elseworlds, that looked good enough and would feel more like an epic final battle than a fucking construction site.
Basically that would make part 4's final battle the equivalent of the titan fight in IW and would make the final battle the equivalent of the final battle in endgame.
I dont care if they werent trying to make a endgame, i just personally really want a DC endgame, because we all know the movies arent doing that anytime soon.
I agree whole heartedly. I was also stoked to see all of the previous legends who were still alive return, Wally too.
Also the news paper never shut up about the forces of shadow demons being lead by Eobard fighting a force comprised of tons of heroes lead by Barry in what was sure to be a climactic showdown which we will never bare witness to. The lack of making good on that promise kills me.
Crisis on Infinite Earths had it's good fan service moments but the story was too flawed and I'm the type of person that likes seeing almost every single hero in the crossovers and give (almost) everyone a good part to play and was very disappointed that they put Wild Dog in Crisis and not Black Canary (Laurel). And I wish the shows had been given bigger budgets and at least 90min. - 2 hour runtimes per each episode so that each episode could've taken the time to really flesh out the story. The CW or any other broadcast networks just aren't the platforms where you're going to be able to tell these types of huge stories well. If these shows had been on a streaming service like Netflix they would've had a better chance at being better shows overall and have bigger budgets to really polish the CGI and have bigger runtimes so they could take the time to tell the story better and not falling under the pressure of a 40-45min runtime.

I think the reason why I still prefer Crisis on Earth X over Crisis on Infinite Earths, is because it felt more like a movie. From the opening scene to the final scene. Crisis was very episodic even Part 4 and 5 have very distinctive tones from the other ones. The Cameos were great, but I think the writers focused more on that, than actually having a well constructed narrative. I personally didn't like how Oliver's first death was handled and the way he became Spectre. And I never really felt any high stakes, I knew the producers dont have the balls to kill any main characters with the exception of Oliver and only because it was the last season of Arrow. They had many ideas but maybe because of it, it was executed poorly.
I'm more interested in having smaller crossovers in the future, like some of the Legends in an episode of Supergirl, or Thunder helping Batwoman, or Ralph joining the Legends for one mission.
Crisis on Earth X really is the best Arrowverse crossover.

Jóhann Kumara while watching it I just felt so disappointed, because like Sean Said the 90s flash was in it and even though I wasn’t born yet I was super hyped and he has one scene and leaves. There are a couple other reasons and I’ll tell you if you want.

In my opinion, Crisis on Infinite Earths was a good crossover event. I just think people are comparing it a bit too much to Avengers Infinity War and Endgame when they don't have the time and the budget. The cameos only ruined Part 2 a bit. And I think it's definitely better than Invasion & World's Finest.

Not comparing to infinity war, but it spent so much time on making the cameo happen it forgot to work on the story, I at least expect the story to be understandable but never happened, and the past crossover at least have coherent stories
My ranking of the Crossover from Best to Worst are:
1) Crisis on Infinite Earths (Storytelling can be okay at times, but the cameos from other characters like Tom’s Clark Kent to Lucifer to Kevin’s Batman was marvelous to watch. Loved how it unites all the Earths into 1, and how it sets up the future of the Arrowverse after Green Arrow’s sacrifice)
2) Crisis on Earth X (Best storytelling of them all, loved them fighting evil doppelgängers of Supergirl and Green Arrow who lead Nazis from another Earth. Loved the visuals, and the stakes and emotions were high!)
3) The Flash v Arrow (The first of them all, loved seeing them work together for the first time, felt very cinematic)
4) Elseworlds (Loved the story, loved the comedic banter between The Flash & Green Arrow, loved it was a smaller crossover than others, and I loved the Crisis setup)
5) Invasion (Loved the first Mega Crossover, loved the story, loved the team ups, how they found out with Flashpoint, and loved how it gets us hyped for more mega crossovers to come)
6) World’s Finest (Loved seeing The Flash and Supergirl together, gives us potential for more scenes between the 2. Villains were okay)
7) Heroes Join Forces (Loved seeing Flash and Green Arrow work together, I liked Vandal Savage, but I disliked Hawkman & Hawkgirl, and the Felicity/William subplot was unnecessary to the crossover)
8) Duet (Loved the musical piece, the story was meh)

One of my favorite mini crossover episodes is the king shark episode of Flash with Diggle & Lyla. Just seeing how Diggle fits in so perfectly with that cast was awesome.
I was so happy with the cameos and appearances and overall I didn’t need plot for crisis that much. Just the fun of it was enough of it for me even though I usually love story more. One thing I’d change is putting reverse flash in place of the whole bear fight after the universes merge. Could have included reverse flash and then had him join and keep his word
There is a theory that leaving Reverse Flash out wasn't a case of retconning what was setup in season 1 but rather the end of Flash will be the end foretold in the original version of the paper. That story wasn't brought forward as was applied, it was just superseded and now its sorted the original one will still happen which will involve reverse flash

I’m pretty disappointed with crisis on infinite earth because it feels the size of this event is even smaller than previous crossover like invasion, crisis on earth x or elseworld. The cast in previous crossover is so much bigger, the action seems better, the plot is so much fun. Although there are lots of cameo, there are many supporting characters become sidelined and don’t participate much.

Did anyone else just feel like the studio put people in costumes on random locations (warehouse, rooftops, parking lot) and relied on cramming characters together? I mean you had pretty much all of the justice league in this....and it felt like "Ehhh"
I pretty much agree with your rankings, although I’d put Crisis on Infinite Earths dead last. This years crossover was complete garbage. I watch a lot of Flash, and have to forgive the writers for nonsensical storytelling all the time, but the story this year was so dumb, it’s impossible to look past it. I was actually praying that they’d do a straightforward simple story because I know how dumb CW writers are when they try to craft something clever. What we are left with is a convoluted mess of a story.

Worlds Finest was a single small episode, and it met the bar that you would expect on something like that. Crisis on Infinite Earth, being 5 episodes, the idea behind it, the precedent set by other crossovers, had a higher bar to meet, and it failed miserably at doing that.
1. Crisis on Earth X - best storyline and character moments and action
2. Elseworlds - CW DC Trinity focus , fun body swap developed Oliver and Barry characters
3. Crisis on Infinite Earths - grand event built up , fun to great cameos and connections , Oliver's last stand, creating the "Arrowverse" (read the comic after watching it , was fine but they adapted the story beats pretty much (minus use of villains and other heroes) though Anti-Monitor looked cooler in his 1st form with the eyes, then his second was dumb lol )
4. Invasion - Dc CW Civil War , 100th ep of Arrow , Heroes vs Aliens , first team up with Supergirl
5. The Scientist, Three Ghosts - not sure if this counts but it was Barry's first appearance and it furthered the Blood storyline and revealed Slade's involvement at long last.
6. Flash vs Arrow, Brave and Bold - first official crossover
7. Armageddon (i dont really count this as a proper crossover since it' focus was Flash with guest stars) was mixed but enjoyed RF being villain again since hes my favorite and enjoyed the RFlashpoint and Damien's invovlement but jipped no battle with Flash and RF
8. Heroes Unite - i actually enjoy Vandal Savage in this series least his ost, plus the star city destruction and reversal was shocking and great

Ok so here's my ranking for all the crossovers.
8 - Heros join forces - Felicity and Vandal Savage completely ruin this.
7 - Duet - Not really interested in musicals honestly, all I can say about this one.
6 - World's finest - Only reason this is lower than F vs A is because I prefer Arrow to Supergirl
5 - Flash vs Arrow - This one literally started the annual crossovers, but it is also very small, can't put it any higher or lower.
4 - Invasion! - Although I love the 4 biggest crossovers, this is my least favourite as each episode feels too different, what with the part 1 being heros vs heros, part 2 being rewritten reality, and part 3 being time travel.
3 - Elseworlds - If we didn't have this, the arrowverse wouldn't be made into what it is now. And for that I have to put this one high up.
2 - Crisis on Earth X - Don't know why but I love this so much. Such an amazing crossover, plus by favourite team up shot in part 4.
1 - Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 2 may kinda suck, part 4 may be questionable. But after 8 years of build up and crossover events, this completely was everything I could have asked for and I wouldn't change a thing (Except maybe increasing the budget)

5 Flash 4,05 No, no, no, no, no, no. Just no.
4 Flash 1,18 It was cool seeing Ray and Felicity nerd out with Cisco. Other than that though it felt pretty average.
3 Arrow 2,19 (I think), Seeing Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes as Cisco and Caitlin for the first time was a great teaser for what's to come on the flash.
2. Legends 2,01 - The introduction of the JSA and Nate Heywood was amazing, and seeing Oliver Queen is always a bonus.
1 Arrow 2,08 - If elseworlds and flash Vs arrow have us the arrowverse we have now, this one gave us the arrowverse. Period.

I agree that Crisis was a bit disappointing. It had major pacing issues and too much time and money was spent on cameos. The fights were pretty lame. But It was still fun for the most part and great to see people together. Nothing tops Earth-X though. The most cohesive crossover story they've done.

My favorite crossover is not listed. It's the season 2 arrow episodes where Oliver meets Barry.
see, the reason Crisis was my fav crossover is cus of its story. they gave Oliver his well deserved ending, the Multiverse was recreated, and they expanded it even more. now we have all the CW heroes on Earth Prime, while Titans and Doom Patrol are on another Earth. GL is on an alt Earth, and basically all the cameos are on Alt Earths.
As an adaptation of the original comic, the fact that there are so many cameos in the first and larger half of Crisis was the entire point. You further your main characters by showing them with other characters that simultaneously play on the scale of the event and demonstrate the true possibility of a Multiverse. If anything, the weaknesses of the first half were when they stopped doing that to regurgitate old drama from episodes of Supergirl or Legends.

Ok but Legends of Tomorrow is an amazing show because it completely stopped taking itself seriously, breaking the fourth wall here and there, and constantly clowning on the other shows and the crossovers. It took a bonkers turn, quite much like Thor: Ragnarok did from the past movies, and embraced the weird, embracing the fact that its a time-traveling show and all the possibilities of what they could do. I stopped watching the Flash and Arrow a while back because they continued to take themselves too seriously, as well as constantly being the same stuff over and over again going nowhere. However, Legends of Tomorrow continues to change, adapting to new storylines that never feel the same, with each season being a new storyline that has the same basis, but completely different. They aren't even afraid to cycle out fan-favorite characters for new ones because they want things to feel fresh, not redundant, therefore resulting in a show where you don't actually know if someone can go out because anything can happen. In other words, it's not afraid to kill off or retire characters, like many other shows are. Overall, it's become my favorite show in the Arrowverse right now. Also, it is one of the most diverse CW shows, in ethnicity, gender, and sexuality, which I think is really important right now. Also, BEEBO
