    I love learning how to do things with "why" to do something a certain way. It just means that much more once you learn it. Hes absolutely right , if you don't get the "why" you're just mimicking and you'll never truly know what you're doing. Thank you Mr Torres. Next handrolled I smoke will mean so much more because of the craftsmanship that went into the rolling.

      tony wolton the shop this was filmed in closed and Mr Torres disappeared "mysteriously" according to locals. Very unfortunate because he was talented!

    and here we are in australia paying $30 to $50 for a packet of crappy factory produced cigarettes,$30 to $40 for a 15gram pouch of tobacco,$50 to $60 for 25 grams and over $120 for 50 grams,,depending on brands..unbelievable..

      His cigars are probably the best I've ever had. I haven't seen him in many years, but I wish I had gotten a truck load

    I still have a few of his cigars in my humidor and everyone who has had one said I've ruined cigars for them. Dow anyone know where Timothy is nowadays? I can't find him anywhere!

    I love what he says about the "for show" slapping of the knife in Vegas! He shows in a simple movement, a caress if I may be bold, of the feeling, heart, soul that is part of the art of hand rolled. You can feel, taste absorb that caress, the sensuality of that cigar. THAT is his untold secret

    He thinks everything is mass produced!! He is the only guy who does things perfect!! I mean I get that, I make custom knives and sometimes I feel like that too, towards other blade smith. But its not true!!

    • @hypnos2794
      @hypnos2794 9 років тому +11

      Mehedi Hasan He doesn't think he's the only one, he thinks the people who do it the right way like him are the true ciggar rollers, which is absolutely true.
      There a lot of real good rollers obviously.

    • @spydergs07
      @spydergs07 9 років тому +8

      Mehedi Hasan I never once heard him say he is the only good roller and everything is mass produced. He said people that won't show their process normally make them by machine.

      I've had his cigars, my father in law grows shade tobacco and been smoking cigars all his life: when I gave him one of Timothy's cigars he said it is the best cigar he has ever had. I agree, everyone I ever gave a cigar from Timothy said I've ruined other cigars for them. I still have a dozen or so of his in my humidor... not sharing of course.
