@@dark2648 gems can be used to quickly upgrade ships with out actually having the ships. By doing the level specific challenges (like the “dodge 12 bullets in one game”) you have a chance of getting ship upgrades for the one you are playing
This isn’t 100% the best, but I recommend using the cloud (3 star) for tiers 3-5, and then use the sun for tier 6 and get thier affinity. It’s what I use and I get top 5 on Christmas and chinese
