Just wondering about the gearing when fully loaded. I am thinking of changing the front chain ring from 48/36/26 to 40/30/22 for easier climbing in the mountains. Are you totally happy with the stock gears or do wish you have easier gears?
Sorry for late reply. I just wrapped some generic specialized over top the stock bar tape. I have big Neanderthal mitts and need the bars to be thicker lol
Bike not fitting your trainer has nothing to do with disc brakes. I have an old Cannondale F700 from 00-01' has disc brakes and fit my fluid trainer just fine. The fact that your trainer requires skewers as opposed to thru-axles is why it dosen't fit 'out of the box'.
Still.....I dont understand why major bike companies are not making a wide range of thru axel to fit the major Trainers seeing the rise in popularity. Only company I can find out there that's ships to Canada is Robert Axel
Fun video! Thnx!
I spit out my beer with that intro. Hahahahaha
Lol glad you like it bud. Trying to make a bit more interesting content for biking
How many positions can you do on the kona sutra
Mostly just the long distance touring position....what lacks in speed makes up for in girth and length of time!

I can't decide. I'm worried about blowing my knees out. They were hurting pretty bad this trip so I did a lot of walking up hills
Totally happy with 48/36/26 when fully loaded uphill. You'll have to try for yourself and change it if you need easier gear.
Nice to see another Sutra out in the wild! Which bar tape did you use? One of the things I dislike about the bike is the tape. Happy riding!
I used specialized brand bar tape. It's put on above the stock kona tape so it's double thick. I have big hands so its more comfortable doubled for me
