As for me I am using both Anaconda and VScode. I have found out that, Anaconda and Python 3.9 are already installed. Its ok for me to work with tensor fflow without any problem?
Thanks, can you show how to install tensorflow-gpu too please? Every method I try results in the GPU not being recognised as a device, and it then reverts to CPU judging by task manager. I'm on a 1070 if that dictates which versions of everything I need?
First of all you should use tensor flow 2.0 with that you don't need to install separate gpu package. Main tensor flow module has in built gpu support

OK, I still had teensorflow GPU installed, so uninstalled that via pip uninstall tensorflow-gpu, but now I get the following error:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'tensorflow'
Even though in the tensorflow environment which I'm launching spyder from shows that I have:
tensorboard 2.0.2
tensorboard-plugin-wit 1.7.0
tensorflow 2.0.0
tensorflow-estimator 2.0.1

OSError:- [Winerror 193] %1 is not a valid Win32 application.

U would findthe code in conda website , you need to install anaconda before that then create a new environment using conda cmd promp, copy the code and paste and enjoy😊

@@kunalsinha962 Windows / Linux ? - check this on Google search for OneDNN. I have been using google colabs, it works but at times I have seen it is slow compared to your equipment(depends on your CPU/GPU). Alternatively you can self compile tensorflow for your cpu, you can check before hand on github if someone has compiled. Depending on your CPU it really takes long time to compile. I did mine for my old quad core desktop cpu

yes. spider is just an editor. the only thing is you can't do immediate visualization as in jupyter notebook.

Yes U Can ...If you just have one version, then type in cmd: *C:/>conda install tensorflow* . for multiple versions of python, type in cmd: *C:/>conda install tensorflow python=version* (e. g. python=3.7)

@@Sagar_Tachtode_777 You will have to manually compile the TensorFlow for your CPU - depending on how old the CPU and number of cores it will take 6-8hrs to a day. I did it for my old quad-core and it took 10 hrs. The first time you compile it will be long subsequent runs will only be for the changes and will be quite shorter. Even after compilation do not expect it to perform at the speed of the GPU or latest version of the CPU. Also make certain you have 8GB of mem or more
Alternatively, you can use Google codelabs and use the GPU option

@@GhostRider.... Yes bro. We have to try those commands in Anaconda prompt. Open Anaconda prompt as administrator and then run the commands. That will work

It worked this time -
1- Type cmd.exe in Run
2 - Type conda install tensorflow
3- Once the installation is finished,type -> import tensorflow in Jupyter notebook .

My GIT BASH gets some troubles when installing tensorflow, so I use ANACONDA PROMPT to install it. (For those who get problems like me).

My tensorflow is not installing perhaps due to a 32bit processor🙁
U can get tensorflow for 32bit also . Go to tensorflow official website can get the url
if you use Anaconda, you can use
conda install -c hesi_m tensorflow
to install tensorflow 1.9.0 for CPU
if you specifically use Keras also, you can use
conda install -c hesi_m keras
which installs Keras 2.2.2 in accompany with everything including tensorflow 1.9.0
Keras will not work in 32 bit OS too.
I suggest you can utilize Google colaboratory lab and try your coding in cloud.
