I used to have them (AKG K240's) and I hated them. I sold mine and got Audio Technica ATX m50x's. They are great reference headphones. The AKG headphones are open back, and they do distort easily. I felt that they were cheap and flimsy as well. The AKG's also use a proprietary cable that is a pain in the arse to replace if lost. Hope that helps, I saw no one was answering your question. The headphones Weaver has are the AKG K240 series. Try both for yourself, they are both very affordable headphones.
