An easier and quicker way, to crunch up the pretzels, would be to keep them in the bag still, and just crush it with your hands ( the bag opened). I do that with Doritos when I make taco salad. It's a lot easier than using the mash tool. But, this does look delicious! Just a tip/ suggestion from an older lady, who's been around awhile is all, not a criticism or anything.
@@debraclay2281 It everybody uses the wrong tool for the job in these cooking videos. Scrappers are for scrapping. A big spoon does a much better job of stirring than a scrapper.
Nice recipe. You did a good job overall. Just a suggestion Ryan: you could put the pretzels in a baggie and use a rolling pin to crunch the pretzels. Easy as pie! Good job young man. I think I will try your recipe. Thank you. Looking forward to your next no-bake dessert recipe. 😋
Yeah I think this recipe can be done in many different orders and techniques but I think the big thing here is the flavors. Definitely something I would enjoy
That looks real good. I might have to try it. Thx for sharing. Hope you get to cool off. I'm in Vegas too. I just had to get a whole new A/C unit installed. Talk about EXPENSIVE!!! Wow!!! Anyway, hope y'all have a great day. 😊 Btw, I was just reading some of the other comments &... Wow! People sure do like to criticize, don't they? Such a shame. I think you did a great job. 👍
That looks really good. I think I would have scraped out the cream cheese and sour cream instead of trying to squeeze them out. I would also put dollops of cool whip so it would spread easier. I would also melt some peanut butter and just drizzle over and skip the crumbs....
He did the “drizzle” actually he poured peanut butter over the top and went to the effort of swirling it and then covered the swirls of peanut butter with crumbs.🤷🏻♀️ and the whole pretzel crust making technique was new too.😳

The video picked up when you were pouring something on the pretzels. What was it and how much? I do not see the ingredients listed in the video detail.
Your layers won’t be even because you placed blobs of each layer. Try not to rush…the whipped topping should be placed in spoonfuls to make sure it is distributed evenly. Your recipe looks amazing and I’m sure it tastes wonderful.
Looks delicious!!!!! I feel you eith the heat!!! Ditch the wisk and use an electric hand mixer snd crush up the pretzels in the bag to dave yourself extra work. Ima make this for my G-baby Wed. Evening, yum yum!!!
Looks awesome. You get used to the humidity here in Alabama. I lived in Vegas, and let me tell you. Walk outside with a temp of 110 degrees, and I could feel my skin cooking😅. The only thing in the winter, my dainty was perfection. Here it's just much. 😅 Thank you for sharing.
A much better suggestion and quicker still would be to put the Pretzels into a food processor and do a quick twirl on grind. Then mix all other ingredients together separately until they are mixed together well and pour over your pretzels. Done and ENJOY!! 😇🥰😻
Try using a food processor for the pretzels, using a hand mixer for the layers of cream cheese and pudding, thaw the cool whip in fridge ahead of time. I think things will come together alot easier for you. The dessert looks good, will have to try it...
Looks yummy. Main comment -- Did you use cream cheese or sour cream (or both)? Also, please give amounts for each ingredient, and either post or link a written copy of the recipe. I also second the many tips about crushing the pretzels in a bag to get them more thoroughly & evenly crushed, and about spooning each layer in dollops to make them easier to spread. You did great, though, and the most important thing is that it tastes good! 👍
I love this dessert idea but oh man it could’ve looked so much better if crushed the pretzels in the bag and let the cool whip actually soften completely and melted the peanut butter before putting it on top!
Oh my lord this looks awesome thank you for sharing gonna definitely try this and don’t read into negative comments to much you’ll always find haters on anything you do in life this was . Awesome dish you did great thank you God bless fyi it’s hot as crap here in Maryland almost 100 degrees index 🙏 💜
I would suggest heavy whipping cream easily made from scratch for the topping instead of the cool whip variety that contains hydrogenated oil. It will give out a fresher and lighter flavor.

Exactly what i was thinking
He's a man, you can't tell them anything.
Also a food processor works really good too
First thing I thought within 20 seconds 🎉🎉🎉
The breaking them in the bag also makes it so you don’t have any cleanup with that step. All for no cleanup.
Be sure to thaw the cool whip first. It will spread more easily and cleanly. Great recipe! Thanks!
Helpful hint. Beat the cream cheese 1st, then add milk & peanut, then the powdered sugar. It will stir up a lot easier. And ditch the tiny scrappers.
I agree, bigger scrapper, less work.
@@debraclay2281 It everybody uses the wrong tool for the job in these cooking videos. Scrappers are for scrapping. A big spoon does a much better job of stirring than a scrapper.
Use a mixer to mix this up, not a whisk.
Looked good but to much salt taste.
Lol... sorry.
I love how everyone is giving helpful hints to help this young man. Not saying hurtful things. God is good!
I love pretzel crusts instead of graham cracker crusts. The salt and sweet goes so good together! 😋
This is like watching the Three stooges but only having one stooge😂😂

I saw this yesterday and am making it tonight. Im substituting butterscotch pudding for chocolate though. Thanks for the recipe
Great idea ❤

Sweet and salty goodness! Thank you Ryan that looks so yummy! Thank you Ryan 😊
Reminds me of my mom's pretzel dessert. Same concept but with cream cheese, powdered sugar then pineapple on top. Loved it!

Looks good! I use my kitchen aid mixer to mix up the PB, cream cheese, etc...easier on my arthritis. Good job!!!
Thank You !!!!
I would pour in the butter after breaking up the pretzels, so that the broken bits better absorb the butter. It looks yummy though!
He still has a lot to learn 🤷🏻♀️
There are easier ways to crunch up the pretzels youngin, but this is a great recipe!! Thank you for scraping the containers so no waste!!❤
What is the measurement of the butter??
It looks good, Ryan. Thank you for sharing. Blessings 🤗❤️
Definitely a good one for diabetics --- use sugar free pudding mix, SF Cool whip, SF peanut butter. Will make it one we can eat.
This looks sooooo good. I'm going too make this for our niece while I'm here in Texas. Thank you darling ❤️
Thst looks good I was wondering can u use chocolate coveted pretzels t oo for thst

I think it was melted butter and probably an entire stick for the amount of pretzels used. Just my guess.

I would suggest heavy whipping cream easily made from scratch for the topping instead of the cool whip variety that contains hydrogenated oil. It will give out a fresher and lighter flavor.
Why didn't you crunch before removing from package, or place in ziplock first? And, before pouring butter on it? Doesn't it splash back? 😊
Thats not waste! Thats MY reward for making this!!😅
An offset spatula makes spreading the mixture inside pans easier.
