Hello, what can you tell about the reliability of the 22 tundra engine? I know its pretty early to ask this question but maybe some initial thoughts 🤔.thanks
Waiting on Toyota dealer lift when it becomes available on summer but i need a lift on my SR5 TRD sports so bad but isn’t available anywhere smh. Lift looks great on that Tundra amazing work guys
The new lift from Toyota for the Tundra is going to be $2995.00 plus install. So all in at the dealer you will be $4000-4500 depending on there hourly rate.
@@aosensei187 I’m not saying it’s not the way to go. It’s just expensive for what you are going to end up getting. By the time Fox 2.5’s releases it new set up it will be in the same price range and much better way to go. I will say the Toyota kit being $2995 will without a doubt help us sell our kit at $425.
@@westcottdesigns Duly noted thanks for the information, I’ll go with the way that saves few dollars or in this case thousands in my pocket. Is Westcott Designs kit available now?
Hey guys I’m curious!! How does this kit perform off road? I have a TRD OFF-ROAD PREMIUM 4x4 that will be here in a week. I hit trails and camp. Want something that won’t rattle our teeth
How much lift does just the lower front spacer provide?......some of us might just want to raise the front slightly with no rear lift but retain some rake.
Have you ever disconnected the rear sway bar on a vehicle or truck? If so, does the on road handling really suffer, or is not bad if you are not racing around corners? Nice video, and thank you for taking the time to film this.
@@Runnin4Tacos you guys didnt get any rubbing on the rear of the front tire at the blow out deflector or cab mount with that wheel/tire size? i did same set up and at full lock im touching the outer surface of the blow out deflector and the very lower part of the cab mount…
Thank you for sharing! We are finalizing the AVS kit this week for all the people wanting to lift their 2022 Tundra with rear airbags.👍
Awesome. I just bought a 2022 tundra with the airbag suspension and immediately thought of Wescott designs.
@@mixflip thank you!🙏
Thank you so much!! I can’t wait to get AVS kit for my platinum
@westcottdesigns where can I find this lift kit for 2022 tundra with rear air suspension?
@@TheFors99 please watch the video we just posted.for the AVS system. We will be releasing the kit on the website next week.
Tundra looks soo good
The truck is looking awesome! Great video 👍
why cut the skid plate instead of removing it? Don't you need to take it off and drop/tilt the transfer case to lift a Tundra anyway?
What's the height difference compared to the Toyota 3" lift?
When will we get a install video on how to install your behide the grill ARB twin compressor mount… an maybe how to install the compressor as well?
We can get that on the list
What size tires are on your truck? It looks dope!
So far the best tundra I ever seen of the new generation
What size are the tires
Does it effect warranty?

Specs on wheels and tires please
Check out our tire and wheel video
What kind of steps do you have, I can't find rock sliders
We are not currently using any rock sliders either.
What is the offset on the wheels?
Does this set up rub without trimming? Or did you have to trim the liners?
So were you able correct the speedometer and odometer for the new tire size?

what is the total height of the truck with and without the bed rack/accessory?
82" to the top of the rack system, Plus accessories puts it at 92"

how is the ride after the kit install?
Is there a lift u sell that keeps the rear higher than the front. For example maybe a 2inch lift in the rear and 1 inch in the front?
Westcott is working on a 2" rear
Looks good guys!
Truck is looking great, thanks for sharing.
That Tundra looks AWESOME!
Thanks!
Correction- the tires and wheels look awesome!
The rest of the truck is still fugly though.
What size tires are those?
35x12.5

I'm not sure to be honest. You can just get a 1 inch top spacer in that case
Have you ever disconnected the rear sway bar on a vehicle or truck? If so, does the on road handling really suffer, or is not bad if you are not racing around corners?
Nice video, and thank you for taking the time to film this.
We have not unfortunately
Majority of trucks have come with no rear sway bar I have driven both and can’t even tell a difference.
what bed rack did you guys put on the tundra?
What are the wheel specs? They look great
17x8.5 -12

spacers aren’t good for off-roading, correct?
Top spacers. The main part that lifts the truck is under the coil which is much better.
why didnt you guys get a full 2.5 resi setup??
Someone makes one already?
@@Runnin4Tacos IDK haha
Does your truck comes with lower front active air defuser ?
Not the SR5
Looks like you beat 88Rotors for a new Tundra video. 💪🏽
😄
Where are you guys located?
Denver Colorado
Good video !!
Thanks
Nice lift but it doesn't fix the problem of that brown bagger of a front end.
One question do you have to get a waiver from Toyota to do this lift. The dealer is saying it will mess with the safety sensor for the braking
No, it's your truck. You can do whatever you want
Did you guys use a wheel spacer????
No we did not
Looks good what mpg now?
14mpgs now
Oh very nice good to know
Awesome looking truck. 👌
Awesome! Ready to order mine. What tire & wheel size combo is this?
nice! rear needs another 1" IMO
That's what we mentioned as well in the video
Is it just me or it looks way smaller the old Tundras??.
it is smaller. inside and bed space also smaller. its more crappy and way more ugly then previous gen
@@marcelo403polo2 that's your opinion. I know alot of people that like it
BRUTAL CAR 😎👍🏻
$219 for some bump stops? That’s crazy
That's actually on the low end compared to other products. For a $45,000 truck that's not crazy to me
As soon as I got my new Tacoma.
They released the new Tundra 🤦
Same , hopefully new gen 4 Tacoma should be out by ‘24. That’s what Im waiting for.
how in the blue hell did you even get one....
We got lucky and know some people 😄
I will take my chances with my stock 2nd gen Tacoma thanks much
Now lift it 12inches
Looks great
Save some money for the new turbo you will need.
Will do, thanks!
They keep changing it with all these small nuances, at what point is it fourth gen smh
you got a lifted bigger tacoma with a little bigger rear end....its no tundra..they died in 2021
So much for torque specs during reassembly! 🤣
Easy, just go until the impact goes brrrrrrrr
What wheels did you go with and offset ?
