Would love to see you demonstrate "bare minimum" camping with Ashley's RAV4 . Alot of people have CUV's and would love to see where they can take them with the kind of gear that easily fits into it to go camping .
The term "Quest" is something that I never heard being used to describe an Outing...But now thinking about it; it gives a speacial sense to the Outing. With "Quest" it gives a feeling of something magical and something that has to be enjoyied for you to be complitely fulfilled and "done" with the outing, no matter how different for the aspectation.
As an owner of a bone stock tacoma, I would love a video on going out with minimal gear/mods. Would a stock TRD Off-road handle a trail like the one in this video? How do you find trails that you're comfortable with given a minimalistic build? (insert onx plug here)
I bought and have used by 2008 Tacoma stock for years here on many passes and Colorado trails Just the mudflaps broke off Modified into a 6” lift with 35s and geared it and have continued to use on all the trails here in Colorado I’d say the only mods you’d need is a lift and gearing otherwise take the mudflaps off and you can navigate most trails with a Tacoma

A "bare minimum" build is dictated by the owner. What do you need? Are you staying off the trails and staying in dedicated parks and campgrounds? You don't need anything. Are you sticking to the easy trails that are little more than an unmaintained dirt road? Don't need anything other than maybe an air compressor so you can air down for a better ride. It's really up to you. People have been getting their trucks into places it should have never made it for decades with nothing more than 31" - 33" tires and some skill. Bare minimum is how it comes from the factory, IMO.
Oh, and with pooping, you go find a nice secluded spot, dig a hole, do your business, and fill the hole. When you're done, if you can tell that someone pooped there, you did it wrong.

It fits perfectly behind the driver seat and allows quick access to the camera via the zip top lid. I use it all the time for my camera kit in my truck. Cheers! 🍻
All you REALLY need to get started is a capable 4wd vehicle. And minimal camping gear. You can upgrade gear and/or truck as you go. But you can definitely get out there, get going. . . Just go.

Dude I rock on my 07 sequoia. It’s fucking ready bone stock. I went this weekend and hung with Jeeps with lockers. The trac control and the center locker is amazing. It climbs rocks like crazy. The limit is clearance. But that even is 11in stock. That’s more than any stock Tacoma.
Amazing looking trail ride and trip . I was wondering what size of lift you have in the front and back , to be able to run those 35’s . I started my Tacoma overlander earlier this year. I did the typical 3.5 inch Rough country 8 way adjustable suspension lift w/ vertex , and icon upper control arms. I’m currently running the famous 285/70/17’s with zero rubbing. If I wanna upgrade the tires will I need to add a bigger lift or just do major trimming ? I know there’s some actual trim kits out there…
