2:01 are you kidding me? Sounds like he dropped a batch in his trousers after complimenting the natural finish on the drums. Creepy mouth breather!
Fantastic! Love the magma red 🔥🥁😎David Curtis
Oak veneer where you see the grain. NICE ! - Chip Barkhouse The Drummist
I want to go next year 🤘
I’d like to know if the bass drum weights will be available as a separate accessory? Looks as if they simple attach to the lug itself. Would love to try them on my current Live Customs.

BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
In all fairness, that was my reaction as well haha.
Must be a huge brick.
смотришь и думаешь, где наше собственное производство всего этого? Да нет его и никому оно не нужно....а жаль. Получается только, что в барабанах наши деревья с Дальнего Востока, в педалях алюминий...sorrow

Well, after seeing a lot of videos so far of the major manufacturers presentations at NAMM(Mapex, Pearl, DW, Ludwig, Tama, ect), I am very disappointed in Yamaha's current line up of drums and hardware. Not to mention this poor guy's presentation. I see so many "innovations" and "exclusive features" from all these manufacturers. A lot of these ideas seem to come full circle. Some ideas are just way out there and seem far fetched. As far as the continuing technologically advanced features come out, how do they really make that much of a difference compared to drums 30 years ago? Using magnets, weights, balance, noise cancelling techniques in their design, new and exotic woods, and hybrid shells. Really? I am a Mapex Black Panther Velvetone owner and user. It's fine for me, and my budget. I periodically go to the local music store, which is pretty big in size and name. I look at all the latest manufacturers makes and models. Some look more detailed than mine, but not much. Pearl has some major hardware over build in their stands, racks and hardware, which I like. They also offer complete customization for you, which I like too. I can't afford to do that. That's the only thing I really like more than any other manufacturer. But it costs.
I sampled kick pedals from all the store had on display to demo. One didn't feel any better than the next. I have the Mapex Falcon double kick pedal. I've adjusted it to my taste, whereas I can play smooth rolls and variations to combine with tom articulations. I made it so it's light to push for the feet and toes. I don't have to do a heal/toe maneuver to make anything happen, and I can fly as fast as anyone out there doing the heal/toe technique. I have more control with my heals flat on the floor. I keep them grounded and make even strokes that way. My Mapex hardware is simple but fine. They only hardware that is failing is probably 15 years old, 3rd owner, and is the lighter duty stands that they made then. Everything else stays put. So kudos to Mapex for that.
thats all ? lol no technology to speak of. drums sound as good as we need them, every combination has been proven. lets see some Hardware advancement ?new hoops and EZ lugs better tom suspension technique for god sakes.. infinity cymbal tilters without felts washers and wingnuts creative interactive stand/rack solutions. graphic design on the shells? tired of wood fades... ill bet this kik drum weighs a ton! not impressed this year.
I bet the kick drum weighs 200 pounds....not gonna be popular unless your in your 20s or an exercise nut....and I'm neither of those.
New Pedal looks cheap as hell...
