I'm sure it's delayed because they want a trailer with Keanu Reeves, not the current trailer's silent Shadow. Narrative voiceover is probably not good enough either.
It’s already finished filming, besides the CGI and the voiceovers the rest won’t take all that long I think.

I saw the Knuckles show and I really liked it. It was fun and I loved how they touched on the darker sides of GUN with the Villains.
Still. Yes I would have preferred a more lore Intensive Show, focus on Knuckles and maybe the formal introduction of the Chaotix. But that's not what was promised.
They promised us a show where Knuckles trains Wade in the ways of the Echidna warriors and hijinks ensues.

Far from perfect but fun enogh that I can see myself going back to it on occasion.

All this news is exciting! It would be perfect if it came out on Summer’s Game Fest, and if not, maybe around the end of June. I would be shocked if they release the trailer in only a few days or next week. I think the end of June would be great for the trailer to come out, at least in my opinion. Summer’s Game Fest would also be one of my predictions. I’m sure they’ll wait for the perfect time to release the trailer. In the meantime, I’m excited for the trailer and movie.

If you think about it, while the tone shouldn’t diverge too much so it doesn’t feel weird, it makes sense for the movies to get a little more mature. Think about if the first one way aimed at a younger audience and they’re 10-12 years old back in 2020. That audience is now 14-16 years old. It feels short when you just look at the movies but time flies, homies. Most likely that original audience will have a fraction of them move on and lose interest in the sequels while others who became big fans stick around. I guess new kids will join each new movie but for the people that stayed it only makes sense to keep their attention by growing with them. Look at the first Harry Potter movie vs the last one. lol
