I always knew from the beginning the first time they dated how much loved they had for each other. Unfortunate that the media back then and some people were very negative towards their relationship. So I am thankful 18 years later they gotten a second chance of loved and they look even more in loved than the first time time round. I think that there's a deep love and true happiness that their other romantic relationships just don't have and that they became an addict and a workaholic because they were trying to mask their individual pain and suffering and that was hard to watch. I have loved seeing them be relaxed and happy together and I think that there was a bad pattern in that we saw very public relationships that always seemed doomed to fail in a public manner and that has been going on for years. I think that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez both got their hearts broken, but, Ben was just able to hide it at least for awhile better than she was but that now is a time for healing and happiness.

Yes, you are right. But I believe that he had to apologize for hurting her for his mistake. He ultimately hurt himself too. No one could replace her for him. He had to apologize and convince her that he was serious this time to commit to her and make it up to her. He was saying all that she needed and wanted to hear to give him another chance. He did just this and now they are happy and moving forward with their lives to be together forever.

But Ben has said it at least twice in interviews but this was kind of recent in the last few years. He found out that he cost himself his own happiness listening to foolish people.
