Where’s the finger nail clipper? A while back you did one of these and I learned a valuable tip. You said to always have a finger nail clipper in your bag. Wasn’t too long ago when I chipped a nail while playing in a tournament and it bothered me a lot. That was great advice.
Brian. Is it just me that feels like wood shafts shoot better, or at least it feels better. It feels like I can feel the hit better and control the cue better. What's your take on carbon vs wood? If you already have a video, please share.
I am stuck on carbon fiber - I love the way it looks the way it feels everything. But I’m sure some people would prefer the feel of the wooden shaft. It’s always about personal taste.
I bought a VERY nice IKON cue some 14 years ago and always thought that was my final "base" cue since I could always get any future uni-loc shaft Predator would make. I suppose technology always advances though. Do you consider the P3 a significant performance upgrade?
Bryan, Lately you've released a few videos for beginners and I wonder if you have any advice for choosing a first cue? About a year ago I got back into playing pool after playing on and off for 40 plus years, but due to the dizzying number of current cue options I have been using the house cues where I play, rather than purchasing a cue I might not like.
If you send me an email to fxbilliards@gmail.com along with a range for your budget, I’ll make some recommendations. Put cue advice in the subject line.
Actually now the black vault plate revo is not in stock anymore. It's only the white vault plate versions that predator sell. At least on Seyberts. The black vault plate versions were basically the original style.
When you ship your shafts to be retipped to Predator, how do you package them? Is there a special box, or do you send them in a hard case? I'm concerned that the shafts might get damaged when shipping to them. What's the turn around time for them to retip your shaft? I've heard horror stories that it takes months. Love your channel, thanks!
The UPS store has boxes that are a perfect size. If I ship on a Wednesday, I usually get it back the following Wednesday. I’ve never once heard of anything taking months at Predator. That sounds like someone shipping a cue from a retail establishment who took their time getting it out. Usually because they wait until they have a lot of cues so they can save money on shipping.
You clearly have never used premium chalk. Taom- Kamui- Pure // And by the way it lasts three or four times longer because it’s much finer I guess 100s of thousands of pros and amateurs around the world who buy these premium chalk have all been bamboozled? Hmmmm. By the way, if you can ever buy the best in the world of ANYTHING that is going to last a year, for $30, buy it. Six dollar chalk is good, but it’s messy and it doesn’t last long. You may also want to factor in the cost of cleanup on your cue. Cheap chalk kills ferrels. Also makes cue balls dirty . But that can be fixed with a $20 cleaning solution. Do you see where this is going? A special thinks to all the math teachers out. there.
Last time I saw your what's in the bag you pulled about 50 butts and 75 shafts out of one bag 😅 As in life, one of too many things, it gets complicated (my watch collection) lol Nice cues 🙌
That last 4 ever tip tool is top notch. Had mine for 3 years and still very good
P3 and a BK4 here and my pool bag is always full of accessories as well as cues.... had me looking for blue dots near the end, smiling out loud
That Predator Ikon is dope. It reminds me of Dracula. I know Peri cues have a Dracula cue but that Predator one is really nice looking.

Yeah, how about that? Probably took them out to use them and never put them back.
Enjoyed the video. Good to see what you use and another aspect of the game besides the other lessons you give. Keep up the good work.
Much appreciated!
Glad to see you’re still using the P3, it is low key, but so lethal
Nice Whats in The Bag episode!
Thanks!
Never knew they sponsored you. Hells yeah!
Yes, for the last four going on five years Predator has been my prime sponsor. But I’ve been using their cues exclusively for 15 years.
Thanks for clearing everything out for us Brian👍 should have snagged a P3 years ago 😂 …like you, 19oz has been my sweet spot for years 🍻cheers
need FX billiards stickers! I put stickers on my bag - helps it stand out so i don't pick up the wrong bag
Email me your address at fxbilliards@gmail.com put the word stickers in the subject line and I will mail you some

Do the predator extensions and adapters work on OB cues? Do they make one?
No, they don’t work on other brands

I find it to be an upgrade, but some players at lower levels may not notice the difference

What pool hall/city do you play at/from? Nice video 🎱
I play in Philadelphia Wilmington, Delaware and Norristown, Pennsylvania. Plus a couple times a year at Griff’s in Las Vegas.

You might wanna check the predator site. They sent me a black vault plate Revo just about a month ago.
How often do you use the Revo wipes?
Pretty much as needed. Can’t hurt to use it every time you play, but I’m not that tidy.
I use a 19oz 20 break stick
I have everything set at 19 ounces - seems to be my sweet spot

Bryan where is the White BK Rush? I was expecting you to pull that out
I don’t own the white- not sure I would want one, but I should have some new cues coming in the summer so who knows.
$30 for ONE chalk cube is ridiculous.
The point of diminishing returns is around $6. Seriously.

I found the Predator chalk to be not so clean. Didn't care for the blue hands after a few racks.
You’re using the mid-level chalk you are NOT using predator PURE- because it is not in the least bit dirty. It might be the cleanest chalk available.

Nice cues 🙌
Yes, that video was basically camera tricks. My largest bag only holds four cues.
