For this composition, I created a calm melancholic soundscape and then embellished it with organic textures.
A few words from the author: I dedicated this channel to the dark and dystopian side of ambient music. Here you will find such moods of ambient music as cinematic ambient music, dark ambient music, meditative ambient music, cyberpunk ambient music, sci-fi ambient music, futuristic ambient music. Most often in my compositions I use rain sounds, hypontic drones, deep soundscapes, and various synthesized sound effects. Millions once lived here. _Millions._ I couldn't wrap my head around such an impossible number, even as I gazed upon the derelict structures, cloaked in moss and fog; my respirator hissed quietly as I took in a breath, the sound quickly lost in the ever-present patter of rain. I spent a moment trying to visualize so many faces, imagining what it would be like to encounter so many people, rather than the thirty or so of us who eked out a living in the bunker.
I couldn't. My mind simply failed to grasp the concept. Heaving a resigned sigh, I moved forward, tiny spores dancing in the beams of my lights like the stars I'd once read about as a child. I had work to do in the here and now.
