- For 2016's Comic-Con incognito walk through the show floor, Adam does something different and gets suited up from a booth in the exhibit hall. Dressed as Kylo Ren (costume by Anovos), he ventures out to meet other Star Wars cosplayers and visits the Lucasfilm booth to see some collectibles up close.

Funny thing is anovos don't have this costume and don't and won't be selling it, I just tried to purchase one and got told they do not have them! After asking why the live chat with there customer service went dead! Almost as if they didn't have an answer after I asked why they advitised it but won't have it for purchase at all! That's false advising and I'm certain there are laws against that.
James Edwards I don’t like their business practices but I don’t hate them either. They do business based on units that are limited per season of the year. For example they will sell 150 units before selling out and preparing to sell some next season.

Wow most of that costume is covered by other parts of itself.
Yeah, I thought that was odd, but as Adam said, I guess the layers of the costume give the actor a certain feel to the character.
I also means that you don't suddenly expose a part of the outfit that is not supposed to be seen. The bear costume had hole in its armpits, for example. If you layer credible pieces of clothing over each other, you don't have to hide 'unfinished' spots.
Plus, the layers help to bulk him up. You can see how important that is when you compare him to the other Kylo at 5:58. He looks very skinny. Still, not a bad costume!

Adam Driver the actor in the movie was a US Marine I imagine after all the gear they have to carry the costume would have seemed light in comparison.
Usually with costumes it isn't the weight that is an issue but rather how the costume insulates the body and restricts movement. These issues can range from bad (potentially threatening heat stroke and making it impossible physically impossible for an actor to perform) to beneficial (not needing coats when having to shoot in the cold and providing mannerisms for the character). Luckily for Driver, most of his scenes stayed clear of potential heat stroke and his character lent itself to more mannered movement.

No lightsaber feels a bit incomplete... but the costume (this really is a costume, rather then cosplay!) is amazing!
I always thought cosplay was just more expensive and accurate costuming.
Despite this looking better, yeah, the one he posed with that wasn't a pro replica costume wins for just that reason.
I agree that it feels a bit incomplete, but only cause he should've had a holstered lightsaber. I think if he had a lightsaber with the blade part that lights up (like the other one had) it would've had a negative effect on what is otherwise an awesome costume.

I love how Adam dresses up in all these accurate costumes from multiple different series, it really does add a level of realism not often seen in the cosplay community and generally just makes everyone's day. Well done.

Yes ! I love that costume it's drives me crazy when people say it look like a samurai costume. Even his saber looks like a knights sword. I love how the designer gave him that Star Wars look with such a medieval feel and elegance.

@@deuscheems6298 black series sabers are cheap toys with an okay aesthetic hilts. Anyone who is serious about collecting/cosplaying should go for actual custom machined metal hilts and neopixel/tri-cree blades.

Adam you need to lower your game. All they do is see your workmanship in the costume and they figure it's got to be you. You need to start wearing costumes made out of rough cardboard with sloppy finish, then no one will figure you out on the floor.
but he'll make a video and use the most realistic cardboard there is and everybody will know!

I'm not into cosplay at all but I enjoy these vids mostly because Adam seems like such an approachable and down to earth guy and his interaction with fans especially kids is fantastic.
Even though Adam is a famous television personality, does speeches and cosplays often, he still exudes an "socially awkward nerd" kind of vibe, heheh, I think I love him more because of that. He really is a nerd at heart.

She appears to be Adam's "Zipper Mistress" for when he doesn't feel like zipping himself up.

+JonO387 Presumably you are not from California... we're not used to that. The 85 is OK, but only at 10% or so humidity. That's "normal" for us in summer time. I find most of the US on the other side of the Rockys to be stifling, like I'm in the front row of a rock concert, jammed up against the stage by a huge crowd pressing forward behind me and unable to breath. Florida was about the most horrible place I've ever been, respiration-wise. Even Hawaii was easier to deal with, but not by much...
Five different layers and black quilt. You'd roast in a swamp of your own fluids in just 10% humidity.
