I don't think the runner is being rude. He's Scandinavian and seems to have a much drier sense of humor than the American devs. Plus he's in the zone trying to play Sometimes I'm so engrossed in a game I don't even hear other people talking. So it's understandable he won't be as warm. Plus I really have to question the point of having devs talking with a speedrunner during a run. Speedrunners' goal is to exploit every glitch and oversight of the devs. It's a serious recipe for awkwardness putting them together...then streaming it. Anyway, it was cool to see all these glitches and skips for my favorite game. 🙂
Postal 2 is an R-rated game about a guy who never gets a break because some radical group decides to terrorize his hometown while he's trying to live his life so he goes crazy and becomes a manslaughtering S.O.B. who cusses up a storm. Being rude is kosher for this. :p
Not really too rude, when you look at his face I think it is more stressed than meaning to be rude on purpose. And he is alone, there is no crouch with him, sometime it feels like "I have no one to speak to/rely on" I hope you see what I mean. Or perhaps it is because I am French so I don't really get the "rude" part as for me it is normal for ESA, as I am used to watch GDQ there is a difference in the ... atmosphere/mood I would say ? But it is related to ESA so I am not chocked with that.

Even getting a supportive comment like 'the whole postal 2 speed running community is watching you' also puts added pressure despite being positve.Combine the aformentioned with trying to do what look like pretty difficult moves and some weird bugs/glitches and most people (not necessarily speedruners, though lots are flat out rude, spergy, or otherwise less than desirable to watch) would be unable to carry on a conversation, do the moves, handle being infront of an audience let alone any combination of these. He's doing all three. An instance of this 'rudeness' might be when hes asking about if the cutscene is supposed to be that loud and says to turn the sound down...the way he said it might sound rude to a North American but he isn't really saying anything actually rude and he doesnt have a rude tone ...he doesnt really have a tone at all, which may be the source of the judgement. he's just focused, stressed and Eropean, viz., to the point. He also says hes gonna back the shit out of the game when it goes on market and is giving advice/asking about whether weird shit hes found since hes probably played it a billion times is supposed to be there which is well recieved and appreciated. Definitely not rude.

I don't think the dev is offended or upset so much as he is socially awkward. It's perfectly understandable.
