Let’s Tap is a silly Will game. A mini game collection with motion controls. But instead of waggling the remote, you place the remote on a box and tap the box. In Japan the game came with a box, but in the US you had to supply your own. I wonder if what you saw was just the box, or the box with the game.
I did some hunting in Nagasaki. Gameru was one of the shops I covered, and it’s located near the airport. I’ll definitely return one day. Hokkaido I will visit soon, I hope. I’m looking forward to trying all that delicious seafood! Cheers!
I saw a very super ultimate rare game in the 1st case you hit, hahahaha, but I'm not going to say which was it, I might still find it when I go to Japan soon.
Yes, AES games! I'd really like to find Robo Army one day. Fatal Fury 3 was expensive though. I saw it for 14,000 yen in Surugaya and it got sold fast. Great to hear that you picked up World Heroes 2 Jet. Pricing was good and that cover art is awesome. Also, I found that Mario World soundtrack in the junk section 4 years ago. Regret not picking it up...
Robo Army is a tempting game. I’ll have to give it a spin on the ole Neo Mini. I’m glad I got WH2 Jet. The gameplay mechanics def get an improvement over 2. Cheers!
Samurai Spirits games are a solid choice! Hard OFF stores will list select items on their online store, The Net Mall. Online purchases are limited to those living in Japan, but you can use a 3rd party service to make a purchase on your behalf. While the games in the video are not listed online, there are usually online listings for the SamSho games. Cheers!
I’m always interested in how stores and collectors arrange their games. Alphabetically? Categorically? Chronologically? Or if you are this hard off, Chromatically 20:55. Cool.
It definitely varies. A boxed AES can sometimes be found for as low as 40,000, but lately in the Tokyo and greater area they have risen in price considerably. The new norm seems to be ¥40,000 without a box. With a box...they can be as high as ¥100,000! @@RetroReWire i'm in russia, like game in store you're showing costs 4000 yen, here they're asking around 8000 yen if you do exchange rate...that's why i always say it's cheaper in Japan.

It was just the boxes that they were selling. I’m gonna have to look this game up, seems interesting!
Love to visit this shop one day , iv been a neo geo fan since childhood am now 48 !
I’d like to revisit this shop soon!
My next trip will be be to hokkaido and nagasaki, just started saving again! Gotta find those hidden gems!

Yesterday, I got a fatal fury special for $22.
Sweet deal!
I had Robo Army on my NEO GEO cd front loader. I wish I had kept it. Loved that game. Would love to get the big cart AES version! :)
I've only played the game briefly. If I recall correctly, it's a part of the Neo Geo Mini INT edition. The cover art is pretty gnarly!

Haha, what’s the game? Spill the beans, man!? Haha, cheers.
black hole assault was the sequel to heavy nova (mcd AND x68k)...it was ported to the PCE CD as well...great video btw, as usual!
Right on, I’ve seen both games many times, but I had no clue they were connected. Thanks for insight, cheers!

12:08 some neo geo stuff❤
Hard OFF is always an interesting visit.
8:29 a PS3 remote control, I think you should have looked into that, super cool thing
OMG if the samurai spirits are complete and in good condition the cost is worth, they have webpage to buy it?

Great hunt ! the condition of Neo Geo stuff is awesome, the prices are ok in my opinion. I would have bought them all ! 🤩
Haha, I wanted to buy them all, too!
Geez, that Dracula XX for 25K and Metroid for 9K are very good prices considering their apparent good contion.
Dracula XX is one of the few remaining SFC games i want to add to my collection. Hopefully this year!
@@RetroReWire why didn't you buy it? I couldn't find it for less than 32K all across Kansai
All in due time. Hopefully patience brings about a sweet deal, haha!
Love the intro song, it's so familiar. Would love to know the name.

this 11:23 color on this ds lite is rare I think

¥15,000 YEN is like £81.27 UK 🇬🇧 pounds or $101.60 USD, so cheap. I need a holiday to Japan ❤
A game hunting holiday is the dream, cheers!
Not cheap at all. 10 years ago they costed pennies.
I hope you scored tons of games and hardware back then, cheers! @@laccess911
Thanks for these, always insightul. To know how much local resellers ripoff you.
Can you give me an example of the pricing differences? It's always interesting to hear what others are paying. Cheers!
