- UGS Platform to send the Gcode to the CNC
Materials used:
- African mahogany panels (from Exotic Woodzone)
- Crystal Clear epoxy resin (from the Epoxy Resin Store)
- 1/4 upcut end mill: Amana Tool #46577-K

don’t know what your day job is but your definitely crushing your hobby 😎🤘🍻
I have always held firm on the Xenomorph being the BEST "monster" in any monster movie ever made. This is a one of a kind piece and it is AWESOME! GREAT work!
UA-cam would not stop recommending me this video, I eventually concede when UA-cam does this and I always end up watching to the end lol, great video!!!!
Thank you! :)
As a fan of every Alien comic book, graphic novel, movie, etc, this is mind-blowing and such a beautiful piece!
Really interesting to see someone using those machines and software to their fullest and creating some unique carvings
The 3d model isn't his he used exactly what original was just chopped it up
@@valeforedark pretty sure he’s talking about the CAM software
@@frikkied2638 irrelevant that he used someone else's 3D model. What he did with it was pretty amazing. I can't even get a simple double sided cut right..
@@deatheraget Not sure if you meant to address me because I didn't say anything about him using someone else's model...
dude, you are something else... i'd never imagine doing such a thing in a 3axis cnc, holy crap, simply amazing
This is amazing, only a select number of people truly understand the amount of work you put into that 👏 outstanding
Thank you for the praising words! :)
I think everyone understands, it's in the video...
Not everyone grasps how technical all of that truly is though. Ton of skills wrapped into one and people in the trade appreciate it more. His work is fantastic.
OMG you have done the best CNC wood carving I have ever seen on the face of the internets with a "shapeoko" lol
Wow!!! That it totaly wicked!!! What a centerpiece for the livingroom...
I am speachless, wow, wow, wow. Thanks for sharing this vid!
So refreshing to see your cnc work and not some crappy low res barn owl on a flat surface
I get impatient making one little two-sided 3D part. So much respect for how long this must've taken, and what an amazing result!
Your skill level is beyond anything I have ever seen.
On CNC video binging, and this is deserving of millions of views.
Its a work of art.
Really.
Thank you for your kind words!
next generation cnc routing......amazing bravo

I have to say that is probably the coolest thing I have ever seen made with a CNC machine! Mad props to your skills man!!
Who downvotes this gurus work?! Amazing carves as always.
Amazing, not just the perfect shape, but the motion it projects. It really feels alive, on a prowl, not just a static sculpture. True piece of art, love it! 😍
Amazing execution. Amazing result.

Absolutely amazing….
Amazing work..... inspiring!! Shows off the true potential of a cnc router! 😁👍
Amazing work!
Holy crap! Amazing.
excellent work
Wow, very well made.
Legend! I have been researching ways to make a similar 3D model on my CNC Shark. I had similar concepts in my head and had been playing around with Meshmaker and Vcarve Pro. However, this video has opened up a lot of invaluable methods and information. I now know it can be done on a home shop CNC. Thank you, thankyou!!
That is just TOTALLY AWESOME! 💪
WOW, extremely impressive! It look sooooooo cool! I’m a little bit speechless 😍🤩
Looks so dope.
Wow, very good job!!
Dennis, it’s amazing how you can slice the parts and figure out the best way to cut them. I get confused just watching you. Looks great as always.
Amazing piece of work, what patience you have, thanks for sharing.
I have been using cnc for years but seeing you I realize that I use it at 10% of its possibilities.
you have always good ideas and also great software skills, it would be nice if you made specific videos about software that you use.
thanks for opening my eyes, now I know where I want to go with my cnc.
Thank you for your kind words! My software skills are actually pretty basic. That's why I usually start by buying a 3D design that comes close to what I'm looking for, and then make basic modifications using Meshmixer, so that it's compatible with my CNC (dimensions, angle, etc.). There are plenty of videos about the basics of Meshmixer that explain the features much better than I can. Lastly, I watched all the VCarve tutorials on the Vectric website. They are very clear and explain everything there is to know about how to use the software for creating tool paths. Hope this helps! :)
Very impresive !!!!! Great Job !
This is just insanely impressive. I had no idea that this kind of detail was possible with a CNC
Thank you! Dense wood and fine-tipped bits would allow for even finer details. But carving such a large project that way would take years, so it's a matter of balancing the time and required amount of detail.
EXCELLENT WORK would love to buy it but I probably couldn't justify spending that much money. AMAZING WORK, Thank You
Masterpiece!! Thank you for your time and effort not only in sharing your skills but for video editing too! True Artist!
Thank you for the praise on my art work! It is also very nice to see the that the time and effort to compile a video like this are being appreciated. I'm guessing you know what it takes. :)
@@dennisvanhoof9958 you are absolutely right, I know a thing or two about video editing and how much of time its taken to put everything in video so its not only have nice context, but also enjoyable content!
Maybe I will repeat myself, but it is really enjoyable to watch your videos: you share your experience, your ideas, information about the bits you used - very informative.
Keep it up a good work.
Oh... and you deserve much more views and subscribers. I will try to shout out your channel from my side.
Have a great day!!
Wow, you're a master!
That is absolutely stunning. And you are amazingly talented my friend.
