Big fan of your work. Easily the best English speaking gunpla youtube personality. However, coming as primarily an aircraft and armor modeler myself, you should really work on looking at examples of how real weathering occurs on similar structures such as tanks and aircraft. Lots of the paint chipping for example is in areas that would not receive a lot of contact or wear. Also heat bluing as shown on the gun barrels only typically will occur naturally on thin stainless and mild steel piping. The heat required to blue a gun barrel from the inside out would deform the barrel before bluing would occur.
I’ve been subscribed for as long as I can remember and you’re right this is probably the best work you’ve done! Ive loved your work since. I’m extremely glad that you’re back because you make me want to be a better modeler. The emphasis that you put on patience, I think, is the key to being the best modeler you can be. Keep up the great work!
For fucks sake Henry. Every time I see a video I say to myself that you can't get any better and then you come out with a new video and you out-do your previous videos. Amazing work. Always a pleasure to watch your WIP vids.
You've earned your bragging rights long ago sir. I hope we'll see a gun cannon and an rx 78-2 ver 1 next. Then a diorama operation gundam style. Thank you for sharing. Learned a lot today.
I will honestly say this is probably your best custom yet. I've been following you for a long time now and your skills have come a long way. It makes me want to get more into customizing my kits. I would love to do something similar with my Ground Gundam/GM, and the Gundam Local/FSD kits.
That paintwork & chipping detailing is great... I never know when to stop 😅 I'm like "little bit there...and a little bit there...hmm too much?...nah bit more there....TOO MUCH!"
I feel like there are much better options for shining up a spot than using graphite. Dry brushing a little silver, or gun metal should be enough, and would then be protected under the top coat.
I really love that way that turned out. I don't know if you have posted a video about it or if you've shown it in one of your videos, but how do you do cracked visors for mobile suits?

Hey Henry. What color did you use for the inner frame? I noticed that the color is somewhat similar to your EW builds. I can probably apply that to my future builds.
....I love this kit. One of my faves by far. You did an amazing job.... I do have a question though. Did you apply any top coat first before you did the oil paint streaking?

I am with you on your assessment. If this isn't your top best, it's got to be in the top 5. This is fantastic.
You go right on ahead and brag, Henry. It is 100% deserved. This looks amazing.
Dude nice! Look at that thing, mud looks really good one of my favorite mobile suit fun to look at.

Good god does that look amazing especially the streaking.
You reminded me of Bob Ross when mixing those pastels. "Happy tracks....."
Incredible. I can't wait to see what you do with the Zaku kits in the future. Maybe a diorama like you did with the Leo?
This is so great!!!Thank you!
Nice use if pigments and oil paints.
This is so amazing. This would also look good on the Gundam Ground Type MG.
Amazing future art
Superb work Henry thanks for sharing this wip :)

It looks badass! I want one now, but I've already got plenty of models to work on. lol
Amazing !
do you do paint tutorials though? I'm thinking about getting into the painting aspect and i really like your style.
how about going over the edge and doing the hard graph tank??!
amazing work!

Same as well with the shoulder parts? Whats the color used on those?
Is there a lot of danger of the treads leaving a bunch of dirt on the shelf? That looks fantastic, but I am a little worried about debris.
Thanks for the reply, I'll try it out sometime
Very very nice work bruh..
Guntank is such a goober mecha. Also do you plan on getting the MG Jegan?
meow
Would love to see you take on a MG Zgok or Gogg

...cool. Can you use any thinner, I wonder to do this trick? I use Linseed oil to thin most oil paints. I find It's a little easier on the lungs.
...I didn't even know that was a thing. Cool thx dude
16:44 All alone by gorillaz album Demon Days, i love that album

Do you still take commissions?

Should've added mud higher up, those tracks would slap that all over.
