In this video ‪@Saltyscales‬ and myself head out to do some grouper fishing in Tampa Bay. I wouldn't say we were surprised but it ended up being a Snapper and Grouper trip! Tampa Bay fishing has been hot all summer and we have been slaying some Keeper Gag Grouper
and Keeper Mangrove Snapper. If you are wanting a Tampa Bay Fishing trip that fills the cooler then gag grouper and snapper are the species to target! Tampa Bay Snapper Fishing can be some of the funniest, especially when the big fish are biting. In this video, we were really going out to look for some new spot for gag grouper. I am glad that you all got to see that sometimes fishing can be the grind and we don't always have complete slay days. The shipping channel in Tampa Bay is where some of the better fishing is. This is where we were focused on finding NEW Spots! Skyway Bridge Fishing can some of the most productive as well, but we were not focused on bridge fishing. Tampa Bay Gag Grouper love to hang out around the structure, therefore we did a lot of scanning of the Tampa bay ocean floor. After hours of looking for a new reef structure, we are able to find a spot that produced plenty of mangrove snapper and gag grouper.
